2.7 An average lentebock. Gold and sweet. A little off balance and the slick mouthfeel leaves an unpleasant finish.
2.6 Tap at blind tasting. Pours a light copper with a white head. Sweet and really malty and grainy, almost like tasting wort. Still ok-ish. Or is it?
3.3 25/VII/17 - 30cl bottle from some Dutch supermarket (either AH or Jumbo) @ holidays - BB: VI/2018 (2017-1124) Clear orange beer, big creamy yellowish head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, malty, caramel, vanilla, cookie dough, grains, hay. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, sweet, some caramel, hay, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: hay, grains, cow fodder, sweet, malty, some caramel.
3.0 Fles.
3.0 From tap at restaurant Maasdal. Not bad, not bad at all. The most lentebock’s are too sweet for my taste, but this one was quite ok.
2.9 Trocken getreidig herber Antrunk. Fast keine Süße, hellmalzig, mild hefig. Karamelliger Mittelteil, alkoholische Beinoten, bitterer Nachhall. 9/8/8/8/9/8
2.8 Bottle. Color: Amber, frothy off white head. Taste: Medium sweet, caramel, malt, some notes of hop. Medium body, medium carbonation. Sweet finish, with sticky mouthfeel.
3.2 Bottle from Gulpen. Copper color. Boozy, dried apricot, light but what I’d expect from a heller bock. Not bad.
3.3 clear dark golden colour, medium sized off-white head; not really intensive aroma of linden honey, grains and dried apricot; taste of bread, grains, syrupy sweetness, some linden honey and dried apricot, correct lentebock
3.3 0.33l bottle. Clear orange body with a white head. The aroma is bit restrained with notes of grains, booze and some dried apricot. Taste of bread, grains, dried apricot, some booze and a tiny bit of floral hops. Nice one.
2.3 This springtime bock stays a little behong if it goes for taste. Quite flat, initially I even mentioned watery taste. Appearance is clear dark amber. Almost no head.
3.4 33cl sample. The aroma has grain and flowery hops. Clear, copper coloured beer with a medium sized white head. The taste is light sweet and bitter and has grain and flowers. Moderate refreshing. Nice.
2.7 Koperkleurig & helder, schuim trekt weg tot ringetje. Fruitige hopgeur, richting oxidatie.
Mout, rietsuiker, fruit. Zoet, licht bitter. Zacht. Wel ok.
2.9 Amber/geel, helder, witte groffe schuimkraag.... Aroma is matig Karamel, iets metalig alkemaal heel mild. Beetje waterig....beetje koolzuur. Het is allmaal wat karig.
3.1 Sweet malt aroma, some hop notes. Clear amber, small short head. Caramel sweet, a little bitterness in the finish. Medium body, flat carbonation.
2.7 Bottle. Moderat malty aroma of caramel and toasted. Heavy yeasty aroma with notes of banana, cooked vegetables, soap and herbs. The flavours starts light sweet but finish moderat bitter. Light alcoholic finish. The body is medium and the texture is thin. Average carbonation.
2.5 Aroma: Slight aroma of malts, caramel, corn syrup and hay. Appearance: Clear golden/amber beer with a slight off-white head. Taste/Palate: Medium sweet with malts, caramel, corn syrup and hay.
2.4 33 cl bottle at home. Appearance: Pours clear orangy golden with medium white head. No carbonation visible. Aroma: undefined malt notes. Taste: medium sweetness with medium bitterness. The finish is slightly more bitter with subtle hoppy and cereal notes. Palate: Light bodied, slightly oily texture with soft carbonation.
2.4 Nice copper color, white head dropping quickly. Heavily oxidated, full metal jacket in aroma and taste plus a unpleasent diacetyl taste. Bah. In addition to an overpronounced sweet malt body, this beer is one of the worst I’ve had from Gulpener.
2.7 Not bad but not very interesting. Clear golden with a small head and medium carbonation. Not too sweet but the flavor is dominated by the malt sweetness. There is some metallic element and some hops. Body is a bit thin. Overal it it is very drinkable but lacks depth of flavor.
3.4 De eerste lentebock van de nieuwe brouwmeester. Zachte hopsmaak. Fris doordrinkbaar met een bittere afdronk
2.6 33cl bottle. Clear amber pour, with a thin white head. Smells like boiled malts and a very small amount of bitter hops. The taste follows the same notes, overly sweet, with a bit of metallic bitterness.
Backlog from 2015/03/30.
3.4 [Draught at De Ysbreeker, Amsterdam, May 15] 2nd rating of my Paris/Amsterdam trip. Pours a clear deep golden-orange with an average size diminishing frothy white head. Some lacing. Aroma of bready malt, dark fruit, nuts and light hops. Flavour is hoppier then expected, for the style, along with malt, dark fruit and nuts. Average bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Better then I expected, a good Bock.
3.1 0,33l Flasche.
3.1 Draft at Hoppzak, Den Haag. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, biscuit and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.
3.2 Helder donkergeel bier zonder schuim. Etiket is inmiddels gewijzigd.
3.1 Pils malts some herbs some mandarin... very sweet with a dirty malty ff inish... somewhat ok
3.3 30cl bottle at home, deeper golden pour with a white head. Grains, cut grass, herbal notes, citrus, small hint of Peach, malts. Pretty refreshing and enjoyable for a big brewery
