3.7 500 ml bottle. Hazy golden colour, big head with good durability, fair lacing, lively carbonation. Nose is malty, yeast, banana. Flavour is medium sweet, light bitter, again yeast and banana, biscuit, honey. More bitterness comes out in the medium to long finish and the alcohol is explicitly present. Good!
Lecker.
4.1 Ar: mega banany, mocna ziarnistosc, wyrazne gozdziki, lekkie szlachetne alko, mega intensywnosc, nutka nektaryny. Wyg: piana niesamowita, mega gruba i trwala, mega brudzi, totalnie metne, zoltawo-brunatnawe. Sm: niesamowite banany, nutka nektaryn, ziarnistosc skontrowana slodem i lekkim szlachetnym alko, wow, swietne, mega zlozone. Pos: banany, melon, brzoskwinia, slod, lekkie schowane szlachene alko, odrobina chmielowej goryczki. Ov: znakomite!
3.7 Butelka 0,5l. Aromat dość intensywny, głównie goździkowy. W smaku umiarkowanie pełne, głównie goździkowe.
4.2 0,5l bottle Nürnberg - dark golden brown hazy with a white fluffy head - aromas of Malts, banana and alcohol - tastes sweet banana malt alcohol- a lot of yeast on the bottom....
3.4 Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle, best by April 17, 2018 poured into glass. Cloudy orange with small off-white head. Aroma is wheat esters, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. This one may be past it’s prime.
3.6 Slight sour aroma, off-white head. Malt is apparent, reminiscent of some Saisons. Fascinating taste and palate.
3.5 0,5 l bottle from Rücker, Lengerich. A murky gold, nearly juicy with a mid one finger white head in the glass. Intensive Hefeweizen smell, banana, wheat, yeast, sulfur and caramell. Taste starts smooth. Fruity, wheat, yeast, chewing gum. Easy drinking with hidden alcohol. Some sweetness. Really nice.
4.4 First impression of oilyness, citrus reminding mostly of orange, pleasantly alcoholic and yeasty. Later typical banana taste comes through. Less malty and more refreshing than normal Weizen. Excellent beer.
3.8 A bottle from Elysium. Aroma: Lots of spicy notes, cloves, bananas, bread. Appearance: Yellow body with a mediocre head. Taste: Sweet with a lightly bitter counter, bit alcoholic, strong and intensive. Palate: Medium-high body, medium carbonation, sweet finish.
3.8 Bottle from Mein-Biershop.de. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Lively carbonation. Aroma of banana, citrus, wheat. Taste is sweet banana, malty but also refreshing wheat notes. Well balanced. Very nice Weizen Bock.
3.4 Darker colour comparing to Weizen. Fluffy, reducing with an average speed foam. Smells clove, citrus, yeast. Full taste, floral, very mild, buttery, hardy noticing alcohol taste. Full body, thick feel, average carbonation and a long finish. Nice.
4.1 Bottled. Pours neatly with two fingers of head. Good carbonation. Colour is hazy gold orange. Taste is light bitterness with hints of sweetness. Body medium with lively carbonation. Aroma cereal with a dash of banana that turns to clove. Exceptional beer. The senses are not attacked, they are rather gently steered to conclusions.
3.6 500ml Bottle - Hazy golden with a white head. Banana, peach and toffee in the aroma. Banoffee, sultanas and peach all feature in the moderately sweet taste.
3.9 Bottle (from mein-biershop.de). Pours slightly misty golden with white head. The head stays. Aroma sweet, ftuiy, banana, wheat. Flavor is sweet, massive banana, fruits, wheat. Finish is quite sweet. Overall: very good sweet wheaty beer.
3.7 500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy bright brown dark orange with creamy head. Ripe banana, clove, citrus, white bread. Very yeasty. Mild taste. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Pleasant alcoholic finish with some bitterness in the end. Creamy texture, full body, soft carbonated. Very nice!
(Rating #7442)
3.6 Bottle. Cloudy light amber colour. Fruity (lots of banana), spicy (cloves), yeasty and malty (buttery, caramelly) wheat beer. Sweet and smooth. Apparently rather pale for a Weizen Bock. Medium bodied. Sweet banana fruity finish. Nice. (2008)
3.6 Bottle, 50cL. Home. Christmas gift from my SecretSanta. A golden beer with a stormy bubbles ; big white foamy head ; medium retention. Light to medium sweet, light dry bitter refreshing, light spicy. Medium body, light to medium texture, average carbonation, sweet dry clove finish. Overall, good ! Really tasty and refreshing.
4.1 Great weizenbock. Super tasty and I found it quiet cheep for a quality like that.
3.9 07-01-17 // 500ml bottle at home. Pours a cloudy orange beer with a solid foamy head. Really nice Weizenock. Strong aroma. Wheat and yeast and banana, sweetness, some fruits. Full mouthfeel.
3.7 pale to orange color. white head, but not very big/long lasting. aromas of banana and apricot, very fruity, only little alcohol. malty, sweet, big but not to much, could easily drink more of it. lovely weizenbock
3.8 Schön orange trüb im Glas, feiner weißer schaum, hefig in der nase, spritzig im antrunk, deuchliche kohlensäure, angenehm fruchtig, alkohol sehr gut eingebunden.
3.8 Hazy golden with little white head. Aroma is nice apricots, lots of yeasts, banana, sweet malty dough. Taste is malty sweet, not phenolic, some fresh carbonation induced sourness, not very bitter. Not heavy on the tongue, more fresh and easy to drink, medium carbonation with a nice finish of some banana and slight fusel type phenols. Nice.
3.0 Bottle from Getränkefeinkost - Clear dark golden color, huge white head. Taste is very strong banana, honey, quite sweet. Strong malty body. Finish is very boozy. Not mine.
3.1 Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is vegetables, bananas, wheat, esters, DMS. Taste is bananas, sweetish cream, more vegetables and DMS. Silky mouthfeel. Not very good (but not terrible either). After a few minutes, the DMS is gone, much more drinkable now, lots of bubblegum. Still not the best of Weizenbock. The fresh sample would have been like 5-3-5-3-9
4.0 Hazy golden beer with a big, white, good lasting head. Aromas of intense banana, peach, cream kefir, wheat, grain and light nuts. Taste is overall light to medium sweet, light sour with a good lasting aftertaste. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. A standard for Weizen Bock. Solid and good.
3.6 Garrafa de 50 cl um bom exemplar de uma Weizen Bock. Apenas valores numéricos.
