Hoppy Pilsner...

a crisp pilsner brewed with a solid amount of refreshing American hops, that gives notes of mango, citrus and passionfruit. To balance this hop flow is added just a hint of caramel malts that makes this pilsner as drinkable and fruity as it is tasty and fierce.

3.5 @ Budapest. Clear golden with white head. Mango, sweet tropical fruit and some caramel. Round, spicy, light herbal and dry tea finish.
3.5 Bottle @ home. Aroma of citrus hops and light malts. Clear golden with white head, mostly lasting. Taste is dry and moderate bitter. Light+ body, dry feel and bitter finish.
3.4 Botella de @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo 08/10/2016. Color amarillo, sabor citrico, malta, levadura. cuerpo medio.
4.2 Goldig, leicht opal.
3.1 Bottle @ Mikkeller Bottle Shop Aarhus. Aroma of light malt, light yeast, grassy hops, light pine. Flavor is light bitter, malt, liight yeast, grassy fruit, pine. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, light bitter finish. 011016
3.3 33cl bb06/2017 in a local Edeka, luxurycurated by Braufactum - pricy pilsener, Mikkeller-esque by way of De Proef. - Short: in its advanced and clean Proef way, a generic APA-Pils crossover, smothering a basic pils malt bill with postmodernly fruity hops: herbal lemongrasses and wet citrus peel given backbone by a barley crust. -Enjoyable, but there comes a point where a €3,50/33cl Belgium-brewed Danish contract pils with US hops imported to Germany develops a logistic and globalistic irony more direct than its obvious gustatory charms...
2.9 Clearish yellow color with foam ring. Fresh hoppy nose. Hoppy and herbal taste with a foamy carbonation. Light hoppy but not very bitter finish and aftertaste.
2.8 Bottle. Straw Golden in colour, clear with white head. Aroma is grassy with touch of pils malt. In taste lightly sweet, grassy. Light body, crisp, moderate carbonation, medium bitter.
3.0 Bottle. Grassy hops aroma over sweet candy, but really not too much aroma. Soft taste with a crisp carbonation to counterbalance this. Slightly sour. Okay, but really not a pilsener.
3.5 Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is piney, grapefruit, a bit yeasty. Taste is refreshing, grapefruit, slightly tart, lightly bitter finish. Medium carbonation.
3.1 330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Pale malty aroma with a minimally biscuity and grainy touch, slightly grassy hoppy overtones with a cautious touch of straw. Taste is minimally citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, cautious hints of mango and lemon, minimally biscuity, pale malty basis. More adulteration than improvement of the style. Again: Hops isn’t panacea.
3.3 33cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden colour with a nice white head. Grain, herbal and citrus aroma. Average carbonation and medium to light body. Taste is well balanced with floral and fruity notes. Overall, nice beer.
3.5 Flasche 0,33l: Golden, glasklar, etwas mittelporiger Schaum; sehr frisch in der Nase, kräftige fruchtige Noten, leichte Süße, fruchtige Bitterkeit, frische Hopfennoten, Papaya, Grapefruit, Orangenzest; im Körper sehr frisch, kräftige fruchtige Bitterkeit, frische Hopfennoten, Grapefruit, Orangenzest, cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, trockener werdend, mehr kräftiger Hopfen; angenehmer fruchtig-trockener Nachgang
3.6 Aroma: citrus notes and herbs. Appearance: clear golden color and white head. Taste: medium citrus bitterness, citrus, herbal notes, clear lager profile, dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Nice hoppy pils, but it should be classfied as a premium lager.
2.7 Bottle. Pours hazy straw golden. Light citrus, lemon, grass, pine aroma. Very light bodied. Watery.
3.5 Bottle @ Mikkeller barrel room. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grassy hops, grainy malts, pilsner malt, citrus and slight pine. The taste is like a rather hoppy pilsener with citrus fruits, grainy malts and a quite fruity take on a pilsner in general. A nice sessional pilsener!
3.0 Hazy golden color, minimal white head. Aroma is mostly malty, some mild floral hops, parfume and lipstick. Watery taste, hops are nowhere to be found. Watery texture, soft carbonated. Label says HOPPY pilsener, and I have expected something like india pale lager/pilsener; but is there like one hop to whole gallon or something? Not even bit hoppier than regular german helles. I had regular pilseners that have much more hops and are much more bitter and aromatic than this one. False advertising. //bottle at Craft Room
3.2 Bottle through the Flavourly beer club. Pours blond with a frothy white head. Grain and citrus aroma. The taste has a little grapefruit over more usual pilsner flavours of grain, citrus and light metal. Quite clean and refreshing. Enjoyable.
3.4 Bottle, Craft Room, shared with Trolleo and others. Poured a golden body with a medium sized to small white head. Sweet pleasant aroma, pears, seemingly somehow coming from hops, light herbal notes. Taste... sublte, lgiht pear, low to medium bitterness, very well balanced, but just a bit too understated. A good beer, but not a world class hoppy lager.
3.7 Butelka 330ml (19.04.2017).
3.4 Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Aromas of pale malts, some stinky citrus and tropical fruit, and grain. Medium gold straw color. Fairly fruity initial, stone fruit sweetness, citrus, considerable hopping in mid palate, good bitter and mor or less dry finish. Not terribly like a pils (very fruity), but tasty. The US hops mask the pils malt flavor.
2.8 Bottle. It pours mostly clear golden with a white head. The aroma is earthy hoppy with malty notes. Bitter hoppy flavor. Light fruity and malty.
3.1 Bottle. Pours a dark gold colour with a fluffy white head, aroma is light and fruity, the taste is medium bitterness and soft in the mouth with a dry bitter finish.
3.0 Flaska.
3.1 Suprising refreshing this one cloudy again but nice taste to this a little over carbonated
3.5 Pours hazy golden with frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, light honey, some pine. Taste is light sweet, light bitter. Light body, lively carbonation. Nice session beer.
3.1 Couleur jaune un peu trouble, bonne mousse. Nez houblonné fruité un peu exotique. Gout houblonné fruité (fruits jaunes, raisin, note citron) assez rapide avec bonne amertume herbeuse aussi assez rapide. Corps un peu leger. Quand meme pas trop mal car bien rafraichissante.
