2.0 Bottle. Artificial cherry aroma. Brightest red. Cherry Brausepulver Mixed with talcum. Foamy medium light body. For kids.
1.9 Bottle. Deep purple-pink color with pinkish head. Aroma is literal sweet cherry syrup, a touch wit character left with some fantasy, baby powder and hand lotion. Taste is the same, with hand lotion in the aftertaste. No. Just no.
2.2 F: thin, pink, not long lasting. C: dark red, transparent. A: sweet artificial cherries, bit griotte, cherries candy. T: very sweet, dark sweet cherries, candy, fruity, very artificial feeling and so sweet that hard to say something else, medium body and carbonation, not refreshing at all, 25cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.
1.7 Bottle as Lavrette Cherry from Saveur Biere. Pours dark crimson brown with a lasting pink head. Aroma of sweet artificial cherry and black forest gateau. Towards heavy sweetness, minimal bitterness, touch of sour. Medium body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation.
3.1 Bottle at Rock Cafe, Leuven: Steal an zip of my wife's glass. Clear dark red colored brew with an acceptable sweet cherry taste, not bad its drinks very smoothly.
3.2 Either you love Kriek or you can’t stand it. As an official Kriek aficionado, I do like the Witbier-Kriek combination, yet a bit too sweet for me.
2.5 Pours clear red with a lasting, foamy, pink head. The aroma contains cherry, sugar and almond. It tastes medium sweet and light sour. Sticky texture, light body, soft carbonation. Decent enough on a hot summer’s day.
1.8 250 ml bottle, served in tulip. Dark red, pink foam head. Cherry juice. Artifical sweet taste. Lively carbonated. Artifical taste ruins it. Cheapest Kriek you can buy in Belgum.
2.4 Bottled 250ml. -from Sherpa Val Thorens as Levrette Cherry. Nice ruby red coloured, medium sized pinkish head, cherries and glue in the nose. Tastes like cherry syrup with notes of perfumed carrot and rather acidic cherry finish. Moderate artificial.
2.9 Keg @V and B Guingamp. 06-08-2015. As "Levrette Cherry". Pours hazy deep red with nice pinkish head. Short head retention, good lacing. Cherry nose, sugary. Light body, average to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is quite artificial, sugary, cherries, little tart aftertaste.
1.6 Bottle at home. Aroma is slightly tart and rather sweet artificial cherry, sugar, bubblegum, cherry candy. Flavour is sugary sweet and slightly tart. Body is light. Very artificial and sugary, not for me!
2.3 Bottle from saveure-biere. Pours clear red with bubbles. Nose is bubblegum, cherry, artificial cherry, apple. Palate is artificial cherry with a weird bitterness to it. This is pretty bad
2.1 33cl bottle. Clear red colour with a medium pinkish head. Candy, cherries and syrup in the aroma. Average carbonation and light to medium body. Taste is artificially sweet. Overall, not my kind of "beer".
2.5 Bottle 33cl / Botella 33cl. @ Aeon Mall Nagoya Dome Mae, Nagoya, Japon. A: Red / Rojo. T/S: Cherry, sweet, artificial / Cereza, dulce, artificial.
3.7 Sold as Cherry Levrette. Deep red cherry colour. Clear. Thin red head. Taste is fresh sour cherries. Sour finish.
2.2 Pour pinky with thin white head. Nose is cherry syrup. Aromas are artificial cherry, reminds me bubble-gum... Low carbonation, full body. Medium sweet finish. Extremely sweet and artificial, far from the balance of a good lambic krieks.
1.4 19/XII/15 - 25cl bottle from random bottle shop @ home - BB: 14/I/16 (2015-1735) Clear bright red beer, creamy pink head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: cherry candy, sweet, sugary, syrupy. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet, sugary, cherry candy, syrupy. Aftertaste: sweet, sugar, slightly sourish, lemony touch. Sugar bomb.
3.0 Sweet cherry berry fruit aroma in a crimson rose pour. Sweet cherry berry flavour to match. Not really my thing (way prefer the ’sour’ varieties) but suspect it’d be enjoyed by anyone looking for a sweet cherry beer.
2.5 At horecabeurs 2015. Pours rather clear red. Good white head. Smell is sweet cherrie, taste is sweet, chemical cherries. Bottle at het district Pours deep red , pink / white foam Smell is cherry Sugary , drinkable , sweet , cherries , bice balanced , good carbo . Very drinkable .
Goed fruitbier.
3.4 Pours a clear dark ruby red, topped with a medium frothy head, pink white color. Nice sweet cherry syrup aroma. Taste is sweet and fruity, lots of cherry syrup and some bubblegum feel at the start. Slightly soury in the finish. Very enjoyable and easily drinkable. Surprisingly tasty.
2.0 Absilutely sweet. Sweet cherries, not too artificial but way too sweet. Hints of beer in the aftertaste, smooth. Sweet.
3.0 Ruby with small pink head. Malt and cherry aroma. Sweetsour cherry taste with some wit beer notes on background.
2.5 Bottle. Clear bright red with pink head. Sweet cherry candy/soda. That’s it, taste just like a artificial cherry soda with maybe some light bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Drinkable.
