3.0 Clear golden colour, medium sized creamy white head; aroma of grassy, grainy amd some herbal notes, taste of a well balanced lager with some spicy nozes; not bad
2.5 Clear pale yellow, soapy white head. Pretty clean pale malts. Similar flavour, husky astringent chlorophyill bitterness. indutsrial, not the worst.
3.1 Tap @ Ma Ricca Rock, Brugge VIII 2019.
2.6 A: Clear gold with a small white head. N: Faint hint of pale malt T: Faint malty profile with a hint of bitterness. P: Thin O: Standard light lager.
2.0 Family mart.... Beers of the summer. Golden colour. Decent head that hangs around for a while. Aroma is sort of rotten egg and veggy. Mildly carbonated with an earthy taste with a bitter, yeasty aftertaste....I expected Jupiler but was sorely disappointed.
2.7 Gehad uit tap. Ooit en vaker tijdens vakanties in België. Landelijke, grondsmaak.
2.4 Złoty kolor, piana obfita i trwała. Zapach chmielu. W smaku również chmiel z odrobiną goryczki i przypraw. Wysoko nasycone.
2.5 Bouteille 25 cl - couleur blonde, mousse blanche, goût simple et basique, vraiment commune
2.7 Robe dorée, mousse évanescente. Nez malté et légèrement houblonné. Bouche simple, amère et courte. Une lager sans intérêt.
2.9 Tap at tre rape. Golden color, clear, white head. Very grainy with bIscuits hay and grass. Thick texture, heavy body, not easy. Slick texture dull finish. Starts testy but ends up boring.
Bof. (2619-030818)
1.9 One of the worst Belgian beers, as a Belgian myself other standard beers like Jupiler and Mars blow this one out of the water. Not recommended, a really dirty, but-like aftertaste, foam disappears quickly, but overall just a cheap nasty beer.
2.1 250ml Keg at Magic Rubens, Brussels (€3.00): Quite a basic & at times cheap tasting lager than was bland for the most part with some light bitterness & grassy touches. There was touches of sweetness from some corn before a few bread malts came through along with the odd vegetable adjunct but it was a poor offering & probably the worst I had when in Belgium too.
2.8 Aroma; fruit, bread, meadow, sweet malt. Look; pearl white head, pale pale golden'ish clear body. Taste; fruit, pale malt, sweet citrus, mild bread. Finish is sweet n easy. Feel; easygoing, modest co2. Overall a beer that will not offend anyone in a wedding, an less than a euro a 50cl can. [can@Melfar2018]
3.2 Incredibly refreshing and perfectly poured lager beer sampled in Liege, “eastern” Belgium. Got a bit of stick off the patrons of the bar for ordering a lager instead of one of many Belgian beers on display, but it was fecking boiling, if you’ll excuse my French :P - really good stuff. Well balanced. Several small glasses @ Smile Cafe, Liege.
2.9 Stumbled over it at a good price in local Fakta shop. Cooled it well, and it turned out to be a decent lager, which I would buy again. Although it is partially brewed on maize, there is no strange or unbalanced taste.
5,0%. Prima. Beetje Duitse inslag. Goede balans. (12-2013).
0.5 Draught at Beertalk on Keelung Road. Aroma: washing powder. Appearance: light amber, minimal head. Palate: light-bodied and rather thin, average carbonation. Taste: lightly sweet, some vanilla, more washing powder. Thumbs down.
3.3 From tap at the Grote markt in Antwerpen. Just a nice pils, bright yellow color, white head. Okay.
2.6 Sampled from 0.25 l bottle from 'Prik & Tik' (Tongeren), best before February 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains, some grass and faint hints of citrus. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite grassy taste of grains and straw, followed by a short, quite bitter, grassy and slightly metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!
3.3 Sour. But a very fine sour. An after taste like gargling a puree of sour cherries mixed with tasteless Stella Artois, only far nicer (the wife beater bringing the score down). Definitely worth a sup , and only the ignorant (such as David Davis) would say otherwise!
3.1 A slightly bitter taste, but one that I started to appreciate after a few minutes. Refreshing, but an element of personal taste comes into whether you appreciate this distinctive beer. It was pleasure to sample it.
2.5 Clear golden yellow with medium white head. Mildly sweet malty lager, with prominent bitterness. Decent lager but nothing special
2.2 25cl Flasche. Gelbes klares Bier mit hellem Schaum. Grasiger Getreideduft. Sanft herber Antrunk. Etwas lasch und metallisch. Muss nicht nochmal sein.
2.8 Not very complex but soft and malty, rather tasty, one of the better belgian lagers. Mouthfeel surprisingly thick ( room temperature ).
3.0 Fine Pilsener. Liked it! Sweet bitterness, a lot of flavour. Beer from the tap on a sunny friday
