Brewed with 60 percent wheat, 40 percent barley - using top fermenting yeast, it is then slowly lagered and remains unfiltered throughout the finish.

3.6Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours unclear deep orange-gold with a creamy, billowing white head. Light-medium sweet with notes of tangerine, wheat, honey, meringue, yeast, dough. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, more tangerine, melon, doughy wheat biscuits, a little lemon. Nice, tasty hefe.
3.0bottle @ újbudai sörszaküzlet (budapest) hazy golden colour, normal body, average carbonated, white head, bittersweet, yeasty, banana, fruity, smooth spicy, easy to drink

3.3Bottle. Murky brownish-orange with white head. The aroma has notes of wheat, yeasts, spices, phenols, earthy, banana, white bread. The flavor is sweet and mild bitter with notes of wheat, spices, phenols. Medium to full-bodied.
3.0Practicing my hieroglyphics while drinking this one in the Turkish airline lounge. I would say things are going well
3.6Aromas of bread and clove; something about the aroma suggests sourness. Fairly dry; somewhat crisp. Malty taste. True to type; fairly good.
3.9Bottle in the sun, 24th September 21. Pours a deep hazy almost soupy orange Hefe, typical white and large head, not stupid though. Aroma is yeast, spice, caramelised and ripe bananas. Flavour is full, banana, yeast, sponge, cake, spice, fruit, refreshing and meaty Hefeweizen. Well made beer, enjoyable
3.6Bottle from Globus Losheim am See, Saarland, Germany
Pours: hazy orange with a solid, creamy white head
Nose: sweet malts, yeast, banana
Taste: wheat malts, yeast, banana, fruity
Finish: fruity, banana, some yeast
3.8Bottle from S-market in Kouvola. Big and semi lasting white head over a clowdy golden color beer. Complex aroma with both banana and herbs. Dry herbal taste with a tiny banana taste. Balanced bitterness and slim body.
3.3Bottle.
Hazy amber. Large white head.
Very clean, spiced wheat aroma. A little fruity, but without the otherwise so prevalent banana esters.
Dry, mildly acidic. Sweet and sour finish.
Lively carbonation.
Overall a round, well-crafted, traditional Hefeweizen. Good.
3.7Hazy brown-yellow color with big foamy white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, little banana. Taste has wheat, banana and yeast. Dryish finish. Pleasant mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice hefe
3.50ne pint can. Pours an orange gold with a massive dense white head. Rich wheat and yeast smells. Good solid wheat flavors with understated yeastiness. Some mild banana and clove notes but very understated. A kind of “starter” hefe weiss but good.
3.2On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small foamy white head and good lacing. Has a restrained aroma with hints of banana and tangerine. Pretty sharp on initial tasting in the mouth. But then the usual suspects of banana and bubblegum kick in, together with btraces of toffee. A tad watery as well. Not a bad beer, but there are much better weiss beers out there.
3.9Can stamped with 01.20.2022 4 and 01.20.2021 R. I'm assuming, then, that it was canned on Jan 20, 2021, and destined for export to the USA, given the American mm dd yyyy format.
Aroma is strongly banana with more than a hint of spice and fresh bread.
Appearance brings a golden amber body from the front, changing to a golden yellow with a backlight. Nicely carbonated. The pour develops a tall slightly off-white head, thick and creamy, with excellent retention. It forms a domed top and leaves thick lacing as it recedes.
The taste has more clove than the aroma, and the banana is in the background. There is a tanginess in the middle that lingers into the aftertaste as well. The combination is a refreshing beer, but not one I would rank in the top 10. Perhaps it is suffering due to being canned. The final pour did give some yeast sediment, so it seems it was can-conditioned.
The body is moderate for the style and leaves a nice presence on the tongue.
Overall, as I stated above, an enjoyable hefeweizen, but this canned version would not crack my top hefe list. Unfortunately, I could not find it bottled, or that is what I would have bought in the first place.
Top brewers of hefes should NOT be canning this style. IMO, this is one style where the advantages of canning seem to be vastly outweighed by the effect on the overall flavor of the beer. Perhaps I'm being nostalgic, but that's how I feel. Small brewers with no bottling line, OK, you have to do what you have to do. But Schell's and all of the German brewers need to go back to just bottles for this style.
3.6Kupljeno u Sparu.
Fino izbalansirana sladno kvasan okus , sa malo cvijetno-banana uzorkom.
Tijelo je lagano resko .
Vrlo pitko pivo.
3.8On draught at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy blood orange pour with a white head. Nose is banana, pineapple, fresh cream, orange milkshake. Taste is banana toffee, caramel, orange zest, barley sugar. Long sweet finish.
3.10.5 can from Maxi
Beautiful aroma. Pours honey-like cloudy color with stable thick head.
Very nice wheat beer with pretty balanced taste. Wheat, bread notes. Bit bittery and sweetish. Just right carbonation. Bit watery and boring.
3.950 cl bottle bought from supermarket. Pours hazy golden color with thin white head. Aroma of wheat, bananas, cloves, bread. Taste is similar: bananas, wheat, bread. Medium body, high carbonation, banana aftertaste. Overall a very good weissbier.
3.216.9oz can courtesy of Headbanger. Color is a very hazy gold yellow with nice carbonation and a thin white head. Aroma ripe banana and wheat. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is wheat and banana. Aftertaste lets the banana stand out with just a hint of yeast spice showing. Overall it a nice brew but just not the best Hefe.
3.5Very fruity aroma. Orange and brown in color with good unfiltered haze. Taste is banana, fruity, yeast, malt, bread, and light spice.
2.9Piwo koloru pomarańczowego (mętne) z ładną pianą. W zapachu pszeniczne. W smaku wyczuwalne masło. Mocno gazowane.
3.6Old rating from 2017 - 500ml bottle, pours amber with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, cloves, bread, pepper & malt. Medium body. Slight bitter finish
3.4Tasted several times during my trips around Germany. @Munich, Germany.
[#3.863 Global - #344 Germany - #7 Paulaner Brauerei]
Cloudy orange, peach colour with a creamy tan head. Good retention and lacing. Looks gorgeous. Aroma: Yeast, bread, hint of banana and spiced malts. Taste: Spiced malts, straw and banana. Sweet banana, maybe too sweet for my taste.
Next one please!
3.8Bought one whole box of cans online. Comparing with Paulaner hefeweiss, this beer is lighter bodied, less murky; but its aroma and taste are very similar: fresh fruit aroma and after taste of sour jujube are specs of Paulaner too. So if Paulaner is too heavy to drink, try this alternative.
3.5Pours an occluded orange, visible carbonation, and a big white head which subsides quite quickly. Faint aroma of banana and cloves, also present in the taste. OK.
2.8Milky orange popsicle color. Off-white head, minimal lacing. Wet leather aroma w/hint of tobacco. Slightly sweet palate. Hint of vinegar.
3.3Bottle from Beers Of Europe.
Pours a murky muddy orange colour with a thin white head. Faint aromas of bananas and cloves. Taste has more bananas, cloves and a little peppery spice. Light to medium body with a very fizzy palate. Very disappointed with this beer. it has to be a rogue bottle.
3.5Aroma of cloves and malted barley. Taste has banana, nutmeg, cloves. Palate has much of the same, fairly typical Hefeweizen notes. Good.
