3.5 On tap at the Brewpub. A bit hazy golden/orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of hops, grass, pineapple and caramel. The finish was medium bitter.
3.3 Rating #1675 - #CBC2015 Beer 60 - Day 4 - On tap at HOTD w/ Ferris.Golden pour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly. hops are very fragrant with sweet citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and bitter Amarillo character on the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced but quite light in body for the style. Delicious, though not overly impressive..
3.3 Borefts Beer Festival 2015. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of fruit and grainy malt with floral and herbal notes. Sweetish malty flavour with herbal hops and a light bitterness
3.6 Taster pour on tap at the brewery pub (Portnald, OR). Pours a pale hazy golden hue, a bit dulled and a touch murky but still some bready crusty glow and mellow bubbly life. Frothy offwhite creamy head is firmly sized, a decent film and thicker ringer laces well. Aromas show earth and bitter citrusy hops, florals and grapefruit meet a gentle pine waft, telltale Pils crisp malt, bready and dry straw effect. Fresh as it grows as we settle in. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some lively fuzzy and pithy citric hops show grapefruit, earth, bready malts. Some jabs of fruity appeal, more ruby red grapefruit and lemony spritz. A bit of mellow carbonation, dry grainy malt profile is light and almost aids a middling hop profile bitter and dry this out a bit. Backend is dry, citric and floral. Some faint pine, soap, and lingering dry bready appeal. Simple, light and enjoyable without a dominant or overpowering hop presence. Nice stuff.

2.9 Clear and golden in appearance. Both the aroma and flavour have an unpleasant grassiness. There is a light hoppiness in the background but overall it feels like a mess.

3.4 At Borefts. APA with lacing, creamy, off-white head and lightly hazy ’old gold’ colour. Aroma of orange peel, gooseberry, sourdough, apple, hay; fruity onset but clean and only restrainedly sweet, smooth oily body, hint of pineapple, caramelly and biscuity maltiness, mild citrusy and spicy hop bitter finish, less aromatic than many other examples of the style and not (enough) deeply bittering, perhaps. Decent but I expected more, considering the sublime quality I have encountered in some other beers by this brewery before.
3.6 Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Hazy orange, little white head. Served overly cold, nose is just lightly metallic, touch herbal, very mild hops, sweetish; Taste is cold, iron, caramel, sweetish biscuit, light bitterness, touch oily hops, yeasty. Body is a bit yeasty, touch iron. Okay, touch dull. Hair of the Dog seems to either astonish or disappoint me. Odd, below expectations for sure.
