3.1 355ml bottle pours an orange amber color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some hints of chocolate and roasted barley and citrus. Taste is bold caramel malt sweetness with some roasted grain and citrusy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, very malt forward brew with some light hops and was respectable but not a great example of the style.
3.5 Bottle. Pours a tarnished copper with light tan head. Caramel malts in the aroma. Flavor is mostly sweet malts, but with a hint of citrusy hops. Pretty good amber.
3.1 Bottle. Dark red brown pour. Hoppy aroma. Overly grained taste. Nothing special.........

3.6 Nice toasty caramel nose on top pf citrus hops. A little floral. Pours red amber nice tan head. Flavors of caramel toast a little roast citrus and floral hops. Nice and smooth with good bitterness. Nice amber.
3.4 Clear amber, foamy beige head. Aroma of malt, nut, some floral hop. Taste has a little more bitterness, and a nice malty body. Pretty good stuff.
3.3 Pours a cloudy amber with a thin head. Nose is malt and honey. Nice and creamy on the palate, the malt taste is up front followed by a pale ale type hops finish. This award winner pairs well with chili or chili dogs.
3.2 Bottle 12fl.oz. Clear medium to dark red brown amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, dark berry, wood - tobacco, funky licorice - lakrids konfekt notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood - tobacco, tea, dark malt, vomit notes, funky licorice - lakrids konfekt notes. 3.3 This was a nice and robust red ale that poured a deep red with alot of head and. Easy drinkable with a bite.
3.2 Bomber. Way overcarbonated -- the thing erupted all over the counter upon opening. Pours a reddish amber with a medium-sized dense light tan head. Lots of caramel, grain, some fruit, a nice spiciness, some floral and citrus hops. Medium mouthfeel. Nice take on an amber.
1.0 First beer I have opened and poured down the drain after a couple of sips. I like hoppy beers and I like ambers, but this was neither. The bitterness was so overwhelming that is was hard to taste much else.
3.3 22 oz bomber. Unlike any amber I’ve seen. Pours a dark brown with a red tint. Caramel malty taste.
3.0 pours hazy dark red with a creamy white head and some lacing. aroma i simple malt and a bit dank. medium-light bodied, taste is hops with some creamy notes and vegetables. finishes mildly hoppy. meh.
4.0 Deep reddish-amber color with a thin tan head. Good lacing. Hops and malt on the nose. Bigger than what I was expecting....good hop flavor (grapefruit and pine) mixed with nice sweet caramel malt tones.

3.4 Pours a medium amber/brown color. Aromas of caramel malts, minor hops, and a touch of wood. Flavor is burnt caramel, fruit and a smooth roast finish.
3.4 Big hoppy, malty aroma. Dark amber color with a short lived off white head. middle of the road maltiness and a slight hoppiness. not much of a finish either. very middle of the road
3.2 Hazy reddish amber with a medium slowly disappearing tan topper and spotty lacing. Aroma of grains, mild hops and caramel. Starts out malty and finishes hoppy with caramel and mild citrus. Mild bitter finish on this middle of the road amber ale in a style that I’m a wee bit tired of.
3.5 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Brennan’s Country Farm Market in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear copper brown colored brew with an average sized off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of roasted caramel malt, a hint of flowery hops, roasted nuts and a touch of fruit. Taste is medium to full bodied, flavors of toasted caramel malt, bitter grassy hops, and peanut skin. Finish is dry with a mild bitterness and light toasted caramel malt that slowly disappears.
2.8 Nice beer, however I’m docking it points because half of it overflowed itself out of the bottle for a good solid 5 minutes. Once the smoke cleared it had a substantial amount of body. Fresh and fruity, particularly apples and some pear. Caramel, biscuit and cinnamon flavours. Aroma has some spices and definately hops all the way through. I’d like to try it again next time when it doesn’t explode out of the bottle.
3.3 Thanks IBrew2or3 for the share. Pours orange-amber with a white head. Nose is malt, hop bitterness, and some citrus. Flavor is the same with some caramel malt joining the party. Interesting beer.
3.1 Pours a deep hazy copper. Aroma is floral hops. Surprising caramel malt flavor. (Seems a bit flat, however, I’m not sure when this was bottled as the liquor store had it on sale and the bottles had a decent amount of dust on them.)
3.4 22oz bottle. Deep amber color. Nice tan head. Beautiful aroma of hops. Very c-note. Lots of pine a bit of citrus. Flavor was smooth and creamy. Very nice caramel malt. A good bit of refreshing pine hops. Well balanced.
2.6 12oz bottle. Poured reddish-amber wiht a short-lived cap of beige head. The aroma picked up toasted redder fruits and caramel with odd brighter accents of Pixy Stix mixed with Pinesol.. not thad bad, but certainly odd. The flavor found more of the fruits at the core with caramel adding some support.. bright grassy accents paired with wet grains and residual sugars.. finished kind of sharp. Light-medium bodied and slick on the palate with low carbonation.. bitter, but with little real character to it.. just didn’t feel good or come together well.
3.1 deep red with decent off white head. aroma of sweet malt and light hops. flavor is a bit off though. some sweetness and an astringent finish. meh.
3.4 courtesy of ibrew2or3. Pours clear amber, white head. Aroma is malty, grassy hops, light citrus. Flavor, similar, some malts, and grainy mouthfeel, light citrus finish followed by malts.
2.9 Copper coloured body with a light ruby tint and almost no head at all to speak of. Aroma of malt, caramel, nuts, metal and a touch of hops - not much though. Medium-bodied; Assertive metallic and bloody taste with malt, caramel and a touch of nuts in the main flavours. Aftertaste shows some light hoppiness and a dose of yeast. Overall, a decent, but rather one-sided (malty) beer with some off-flavours (metal) noticeable throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 02-October-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 18-October-2009.
3.4 Pours amber. Malty, citrus, dank hop nose. Flavor is fruity, sweet malt, caramel, pine and citrus hops.
3.2 Bottle, bought at QFC in Wallingford, sampeled at Superpower beer session I in Tromsø 13.01.09. Dark amber. Sweet hops and citrus. Lively carbonated. Dry. Great colour and I love the design. A good session beer.
3.9 A balance of malts and hops. Very red in color. This is a pretty nice amber. Goodmalt flavor with a hint of hops at the end. A little bit of caramel. Low carbonation on all of hales beers.
