3.6Tap, Naiv Frankfurt . Amber orange colour, thin white foam, nice lacing. A very nice solid old school balanced IPA here, clearly present sweetish malt offsetting a pine and grapefruit hop hit with satisfying bitterness. No murk, no sweet flabby tropical nonsense, just a good satisfying IPA.
3.8Muddy orange beer, slight crackling, nice off-white head rather during, laces. Tropical fruity aromas, peach, marshmallow, citrus. The taste is soft, light but powerful at the same time, nicely fruity and malted. Notes of lemon and flowers. Bitterness present but without excess, increases in spreading in citrus and resin. Excellent.
4.0Fin smag af citrus og en del humle, der anes en ubalance mellem humlen og sødmen.
4.3Rewelacyjna IPA. Duża, drobnopęcherzykowa piana, piękny kolor , smak mocno goryczkowy, aromat cytrusowo-żywiczny z nutą miodową. Polecam!
3.9Hazy amber/orange color with stable off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, tropical fruits. Taste has bitterish notes with caramelly sweet finish. Very good taste, easy to drink. Nice IPA.
3.733cl Bottle @ Mikkeller Webshop, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Hazy amber colour with a thin white head.
Aroma is hops, citrus, pine.
Taste is hops, citrus, resin, grass, slightly malty.
Medium body, average carbonation.
3.9Almost perfectly round - though maybe a little too heavy, alcohol-wise (but the name does suggest that!). Quite bitter with a noticeable hint of liquorice and some fainter traces of grapefuit and whiskey. You don't get a huge bouquet of aromas, and it's certainly not as fruity as many IPAs (is it really an IPA?). But I don't necessarily see that as a weakness - rather as a deliberate decision to make a confident and somewhat straightforward ale, yet without loss of depth.
3.6Bottled, 330ml from Getranke Volz, Rudesheim am Rhein, Hesse, Germany. Clouded orange gold with white head. There is a full on IPA character to this, very different to most German beers up to date for me, resinous hop notes, earthy hops too, some grapefruit citrusy notes, pithy and zesty. Very decent beer indeed.
3.5Tap at ammutson. Pours golden. Aroma is fruity, citrus, orange. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, citrus, malt. Finish is dry. Overall: solid.
3.8Resinous and woody aroma. Nice bitter taste with strong citrusy undertones and a malty backone that isn't too overwhelming and pronounced. Full bodied mouthfeel. Overall: just what an IPA should taste like, excellent.
3.8Hazy golden color with white head, aroma is floral, grass and citrus, bitter finish.
3.8Bottle 33cl from Dresden. Orange, hazy with a medium white head. Nice fruits aroma with some floral sense. Medium bitter with a nice hoppy end.
3.0Tap at Drinksmith. Clooudy brown-amber. Muddy and ugly. Nose is lemon, orange, caramel, rich malts, very fruity and citrusy. Flavor is caramel, grass, something a bit off and sour. Oily body. Seems slightly infected, although I must say it almost goes well with the hops used and doesn’t taste so bad. Otherwise, a rather old school IPA.
3.7Draught at Stone Berlin. Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruit, tropical impressions, a lightly toasted note. Peppers. Pineapple. Taste is bitter. Dry, fruity finish. Good filling mouthfeel. Very nice.
4.5Tap during the Berlin Beer Week at Hopfenreich.
Pours golden slightly hazy with a light foamy head.
Bright slightly caramel and hops aroma. Taste - notes of bitterness with hazelnut, citrus and caramel.
Lingering bright taste of pure light hops.
3.6Orange-Bernstein, schöne Krone. Duft vor allem Mandarine-Orange-Grapefruit, schön hopfig-bitterer Abgang. Rundes und gut gemachtes Bier
3.3Caramel, melon and apricot aroma, light strawberry, lots of sweet fruit. Cloudy golden color with small sized white head. Fruit, tropical fruit taste, bittersweet, juicy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Some alcohol.
3.7Cloudy, goldenn brown colour with a creamy, tan head. Aroma has malts, hops, little pine and sweet tones. Rich, hoppy flavours, bitter aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.
3.7Bottle. Color: Golden, off-white head. Taste: Over medium floral, grassy and lightly citrus hopbitterness. Nicely balanced. Pretty strong bitter mouthfeel at finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Very tasty IPA.
3.8Pours orange from the bottle. A tall, sudsy, foamy head lingers amidst a webbed lacing. Optically about perfect. Aroma is full of ripe peach. Taste is bittersweet with the bitter taking the upper hand, particularly going into the finish. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Süffig. A light warmth rounds out the end. Overall quite nice.
3.4Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is pine, hops and lime. Taste is bitter, grapefruit and lime
3.3Bottle. It pours mostly clear golden with a white head. The aroma is citrusy and malty with notes of yellow berries and light pine. The flavor is citrusy and fruity. Good bitterness. A little too bitter maybe. Grassy notes.
3.6Bottle from bier am post, Schwerin. Pours a hazy golden colour beer with a medium head. Fruity and hoppy with notes of mango, pine and grapefruit. Dry finish.
3.6On tap at Godec Pub, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out earthy, piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour reveals punchy piney hops, with a crisp biscuity malt backbone. Piney and crisp. Very good.
3.9When pouring into the glass reveals the typical fruity IPA aroma. The foamy head disappears soon after pouring. The body is dark blonde and slightly hazy. The initial taste is bitter before going over to citrus fruitiness. It has significantly more character than your usual IPA. Also the palatte is more than just IPA fruityness. I really like the palatte with some very complex tastes and a nice taste evolution with time.
3.9Bottle from Germany. Cloudy orange amber under a small lingering off white head. Nose is citrus and tropical fruit with orange peel, mango, tangerine and passion fruit prominent along with some light caramel, some stone fruit, resin and some honey. Light+ honey and caramel sweetness and a medium+ citrus and pine bitterness. Mouth is medium and sticky with average carbonation and a long chewy bitter finish.
8/4-/8-/4/15
3.9Teaszínű testén hófehér hab, alóla pedig vadvirágos, narancslekváros, cukorszirupban ázott aszalt paradicsomos illatok röppennek fel. Olajos kortyai mangóhúsos gyümölcsösséget, grapefruitos kesernyét, akácvirágos, bodzás elemek tarta elegyét tartogatják. Kellő súllyal nehezedik ízlelőbimbóinkra, telt karaktere gömbölyű jegyek mézes folyamaként rajzolódik ki. Ízletes, markáns, izgalmas német IPA.

Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts doughy malts, great hops bite, melon, peach, grapefruit, bergamot. Very nice, lingering, fresh bitterness. Lovely.
