3.8 375 ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange/brown with no head. Aromas of old raspberries, farrmhouse, green oak and sharp wheat. Flavors of very tart red and green berries, limes, green grapes and sharp wheat. Did I say sharp and tart. Big pucker factor...
4.2 0,375l bottle shared with wiosna @ One Pint Pub. Pours cloudy red with a low head. Aroma is sour malts with raspberries. Flavor is complex sour malts with raspberries. Very sour, very tasty.
4.1 Bottle shared at a tasting. Hazy amber-peach color. Aroma of vinegar, wood, raspberries. Very sour and surprisingly salty, flavors of raspberries, pickles, vinegar, lemon, herbs, peppermint, acidic and puckering. Medium-bodied, fizzy. Crazy stuff.
4.0 At a tasting, as "Hanssens Framboos", many many thanks, no head, a touch hazy pale red to orange color, funky feral aroma with lots of raspberries, same traits in flavor with some acetone and a bit of ketchup, mellow sourness that turns salty . Really really good.
3.5 375ml Bottle - Dark red in colour. Raspberries and wood in the aroma. Sharp, sour and fruity taste with raspberries, currants, cherries and oak standing out.
3.6 Bottle. Hanssens Framboos Lambic, bottled march or april 2018. Color: Pinkish red, no head. Aroma: Sour and sweet raspberries, funk notes. Taste: medium sour and moderate sweet, raspberry, funk notes. Bit vinuous, vinegar. No carbonation, medium body. Ok, but I was hoping for a little bit carbonation for a better mouthfeel.
3.8 Bottle: Poured a hazy cherry brown with white head. Aroma is raspberry tart. Sour tart raspberry but very drinkable.
2.2 Barwa różowa, piany brak. Aromat średnio-intensywny, dominują słodkie maliny, kompotowe. W tle nuty dzikie. Piwo nie wysycone, zdominowane nutami octowymi, maliny kompotowe, kwasność wysoka. Nieprzyjemne w smaku.
3.6 Bottle at Stadin Panimo. Amber color, white head. Sour taste with raspberry, wheat, earthy notes, strawberry, berries and vinegar. Sour finish with raspberry, strawberry, earthy notes, berries, vinegar and currants. Very nice lambic.
2.9 0.375 l bottle from 'belgiuminabox.com', bottled in April 2016, cellared for two years. Clear, deep red, no head. Sourish, rather fruity, gently funky aroma of raspberry syrup, some cherries, a touch of vinegar and traces of glue. A little sweet, quite sour, gently fruity and a bit funky taste of raspberries, strawberries, some vinegar and a touch of glue, followed by a medium long, rather acidic, moderately vinegary finish. Almost medium-bodied, oily mouthfeel, flat. Not as unpleasant as the one from De Cam I had recently, still way too much vinegar and glue for being what I would call tasty.
4.1 375ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy pinkish-orange, almost no head. Aroma is very vinegary, acid, acetony, sour, with raspberry sweetness. Taste is vinegary, raspberry, sour. Kind of light body, very low carbonation. Extremely sick and vinegary, freaky stuff, but that's why I like Hanssens!
2.9 Bottle at a tasting at Beermalade. Rather intense barnyard leathery acetic aroma, light raspberry. High sourness, relatively assertive acetic acid, rather background lactic. Med-light acetone glue in flavour. Unbalanced, also almost none carbonation, thin body. Average.
3.8 (Bottle) Pale amber colour with small, brief head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of raspberries, hay, blood orange, cellar, barnyard and some raspberry caramel. Fruity, tart taste with raspberries, citrus, blood orange, pink grapefruit, some vinegar, wood, cellar, hay, lemon and a tart and dry finish with a fresh acidity. Medium body, dry. Really tasty and well made with a fresh tartness and a good raspberry character. Very nice.
3.6 37,5cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Ruby colour with a thin pink head. Aroma is raspberries, vinegar, tart. Taste is raspberries, vinegar, tart, citrus, hints of white grapes. Medium body, average carbonation.
4.1 Bottle at home in the garden, 20th May 18. Pours a pretty light pink, cola colour. Aroma is tart raspberries, funk, cellar, intense, taste is amazing, tart, raspberries, funk, sour, really fun, love this one.
4.0 (coucher de soleil, nez ∞-framboise, bouche > acide (grince-dent), ∞-rasp (400g/l), presque 0-carbo, finale pulpée)
3.6 Rozerood bier zonder schuim. Geur: zoetig, kersen, poepkes snoep, zurig. Smaak: zuur, droog, hout pitten bitterheid, fruitig. Weinig of geen koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: droog, zurig.
3.8 375 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, Lotnr: B. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with no head or lacing on the glass. Slight clinging bubbles on the glass. Good appearance. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, orange, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of pepper, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, orange, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of pepper, leathery/musty funk, white wine vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, orange, green apple, melon, white grape/wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, pepper, leathery/musty funk, light vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance. Mildly increasing pucker through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from sourness and tangy fruit. Flat carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 6%. Overall this is a very nice fruit lambic. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink; despite the flat and moderately acidic/tannic/drying finish. Extremely jammy raspberries with balanced Brett/Lacto complexity; nice malt backbone and oak presence. Would have preferred some carbonation, but this was a very enjoyable offering. Pretty impressive, and spot on style example.
4.1 Oh this is so me. Belgian sour beer with lots of berries and funky both aroma and flavours. Dry, sour, fruity and behind it biscuits. Drinking beer like this really adds to the quality of life. A fairly sound price as well, even i Norway.
2.6 From a bottle, pours completely flat , pale pink colour, big vinegar sourness, a touch of raspberry, and more vinegar on the finish
2.6 Aroma of raspberry shake with some notes of vinegar, bit hay in the background. Deep pinkish in the glass with a medium head. Taste is definitely tart with an unsuitable tough vinegar sourness, something about barrel and artifical raspberry raspberry juice concentrate. Hard to drink.
2.6 Nie jest łatwy w spożyciu. Pachnie i smakuje nieco jak malinowy jogurt (plus), ale z dodatkiem octu (niemały minus). Rzeczony ocet niestety szybko dominuje i niewielka próbka to maks, jaki można przyswoić. Męczące, aczkolwiek piwniczne świry mogą się nim ucieszyć. Ja niekoniecznie.
2.8 2015 vintage. Hazy orange pink color with no head whatsoever. Hard funky lambic aroma tinged with sweet fruitiness. Very flat. Back of the throat tart sourness. Lambic tastes, not really getting the raspberry at first. Subesquent sips I taste some raspberry, it hides in the tartness. The fact there's no CO2 kinda kills it for me. Had the original Hanssens oude gueuze recently and really liked it, but this is really not enjoyable.
3.8 Bottle at home. As ‘Framboos Lambic’, bottle with the raspberry image on the label. Red with no head. Rich and dense raspberries, from sweet and cooked to unripe and vinegrous sour, lactic sour, hints of glue, rusty nails. Medium body and completely flat. Even though this seems less sour than the hanssens oude kriek I tried yesterday it still burns my throat when I swallow this liquid acid. Definitely not an everyday ordeal, kind of happy I’m done with these bottles now. The aroma is great but the acidity is challenging.
Gott!
3.4 375ml bottle from FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy pink with no foam. Aroma is intense of raspberry and similar. Body is tendentially light, no carbonation, very strong astringency. Taste is intensely sour, really! Finish is long and sour.
3.5 Rami Rami is drinking a Lambic Experimental Raspberry by Hanssens Artisanaal at Solec Duzo tych malin. Niemalo kwasnosci. Malo dzikosci o slomianym, ciut oborowym profilu. Troszke octu. Ciut agrestu, winnosci. Malo lambikowy Rami Rami: Aha, to 2016. I bardzo malo co2 ma Rami Rami is drinking a Framboos by Hanssens Artisanaal at Powiśle Malin wcale nie za wiele, za to od cholery kwasnosci, troche octu, nieco dzikosci... ale tez niezawiele, takiej a la nikre siano.
4.0 Pours a deep red from the cork and cage bottle with bubbly pink head that dissipates to leave light lace. Aroma of musty funk, light lactic acidity, and big raspberry tartness. Taste is all fruit and funk, some light oak and vanilla, lots of old feet and horse blanket, lots of raspberry tartness, a subtle sweetness. Very good.
3.7 Bottle @ company tasting. Almost clear reddish golden body with a lacing pink head. Pretty strong raspberry aroma with hint of almond, acid and funk. Flavor is ineradicable refreshing with acidic raspberries, lemon, dry wood, mild barnyard and funk. Fine balanced body and long lasting acidic, dry and tart fruity aftertaste with young raspberries. Quite intense, but still nice and very refreshing.
