2.8Clear gold pour with minimal head or carbonation. Light aroma of cider, yeast and alcohol. Flavor is apple juice with a touch of alcohol. Uninspiring.
2.7Pours clear paler gold color with almost no carbonation. Aroma very potent tart apple. Flavor sweeter applejuice taste than most ciders. Seriously tastes more like a kids drink than a hard cider. Would do well to tone down the sweetness.
2.6Pours a lightly hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is apple juice. Flavor is much the same with a very little tartness thrown in.
2.012oz twist-off bottle. Aroma of Motts apple juice. Sweet and generic. piss yellow color. Flavor of tart apple juice, very sweet. no alcohol detected, hangover-waiting in a cozy brown bottle.
1.9flavor is apple juice with a touch of alcohol. finishes dry. flat and stale tasting.
2.3355 ml bottle. Golden with no head. Flavour is apples, sweet and a little tart.
2.0Bottle pours pale gold with absolutely no head, just some bubbles. Aroma is sweet, showing notes of honey, red apple flesh as well as skin. Flavor is sweet and lightly tart with red apple, but there is also this strange underlying plastic and the overall flavor seems artificial. It may be a step above some other brewers ciders, but still not good. Especially if you compare it to any of the Crispin stuff.
2.5Appearance: Light golden-hued body with a thin, lightly fizzy, white head.
Smell: Simple, sweetish nose of juiced apples marked with some light vinegary, chemical-laden notes.
Taste: Basic apple juice flavor - somewhat sweet, lightly tart. Hint of chemical preservatives. Drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Modest amount of carbonation.
Drinkability: Pass on this. Instantly forgettable and not too terribly pleasant, really.
2.4Straw-colored appearance. Man, this smells kind of terrible. Tastes about the same. It’s a bit too tart -- a little more sweetness, please!
Sorry, it tastes like hardcore ass tha-wait don’t type that!
2.9Bottle in a hotel room in Göteborg.
Clear amber coloured with a fast disappearing white head.
Fruity aroma of apples with notes of apple peel.
Fruity flavour of apples with notes of apple core and marzipan.
Dry finish of apples.
2.7Bottle. Clear yellow colour with small fizzy head. Aroma and flavor is sour apples. Very refreshing.
2.9Golden colour aroma of fermented apples very fruity still dry. The taste is the same with lots of apples, a good cider.
2.5Bottle at Dirty Nellys on the Riverwalk. Smell has a large apple quality to it with a slight bit of tartness. Taste is all apple crisp with an easy finish. Not bad but highly forgettable.
1.2Golden pour. The nose is quite sweet with a touch of an odd earthy character. A bit wooden and slightly stale with a touch of plastic character. It’s oddly waxy on the palate and somewhat sweet. An odd sugary finish. Flabby and fatty and truly awful.
3.2Pours a clear, pale golden with a lasting ring of white head. Aromas of red apples with a little spice. Flavor is red apple, some spice, subtle, and a little tartness. Finish actually has some dryness.
2.3Bottle: Pale gold and translucent with minimal white head. More like white bubbles. Just apples in the nose, sweet and bright. Flavor is apple juice and sparkling cider... kinda has this flat, flavorless center before finishing with a little crispness. About as hardcore as Nickelodeon.
3.8My first Cider on RB :-)
Bottle, 8C, 2009-11-20, Göteborg
AP: Mashed apple (äppelmos) colored body
AR: Appfelwein, a bit sticky (carbonation?)
F: Round apple flavor, then the wein with it’s stongness ( a bit sprity) and then again the smooth appel (green) flavor that lingers on and on. A very nice a natrual apple flavor!
2.6Bottle. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are mainly apples. Light tartness. Notes of vinegar and sugar.
2.6Called Hard Core Premium Hard Cider. Very light, vinous aroma. Nippy, lightly bittersweet flavor with a whiff of malt. Tastes like there could be a couple of herbs (or seeds) and some chardonnay tang in with the apple juice sweetness. A little thin, but not bad.
2.7Bottle. Pours with a clear golden body and a small white head. Aroma of apple juice, must, sulfur and jolly ranchers. Flavor is excessively sweet and artificial, with a tangy candy and artificial sweetness apple flavor. Fizzy and thin with a sticky finish. Why oh why can’t mass produced ciders be real ciders?
2.8Bottle: Clear golden colour. Aroma of apples and vinagar, a bit viny nose. Flavor is apple and water, a bit thin mouth feeling, som citrus in the end.
2.7bottle poured a golden with a thin white head. aroma has green apple candy, sweetness, and some skins. flavor is on the dry side but nothing unusual, bitter apples, mild bitterness, and some light tartness. not the best but drinkable.
2.4Bottle.Clear golden colour.Aroma of apples and vinagar bitter but not sour, crispy mouthfeels and mild dry finish.
2.8Bottle. As ‘Hardcore Premium Hard Cicer’. Pours a clear, slightly pale straw yellow. No head. Sweetish, dry apple aroma with faint notes of horse blanket. Sweetish flavour with a bit of horse blanket and faint notes of plastic. Tart, dryish finish with lingering white wine-like notes, a sticky sweetness, notes of yeast and a touch of bitterness. 08-09-09.
2.8Bottle. Clear golden colour with a small fizzy head. Rich aroma and taste of sweet sour apples with a dry finish.
2.4Bottle. Pours a gold amber with the faintest touch of haze to it, and no head, but a few big soda bubbles that linger around the sides. A touch of vegemite, rotting apples, honey. Cloying, almost salty, vegetal. Finishes with some tartness.
3.1Poured a golden color, with a small white head. Smells of apples. Tastes like your drinking carbonated apple juice. Really a nice drink.
3.0Rather nice gold colour. Still, smell seems wrong to me. Another instance of me not liking cider?
Aroma of almonds, mostly. Hint of fruity sweetness but still holds up to the promise of being a dry cider. Mild, pleasant apple flavour. Nothing spectacular but quaffable and fairly pleasant.
2.6Golden with a small white head.. Vineous apple aroma. Sweetish but refreshing clean apple flavour. After a week of oak aged, brett-y English ciders it’s rather boring, but drinkable and refreshing.
2.6Bottle. Pours yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mostly apples and citrus. Flavor is quite acidic, almost tastes like a very sweet white wine. Not much apple taste.
