3.6Appearance- clear, fizzy and golden, half a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Aroma- creamy malt dominates, orange, hop hints, grapefruit, tropical fruit juice, caramel biscuit. Taste- bitter hops, pineapple, clingy hop resins, orange peel, tart grapefruit, mango, subtle sweet malt undertones, very bitter lasting finish. Juicy mouthfeel.
2.4Pours light golden with good white head. Slight haze. Aroma of lagery hops and slight biscuity malt. A little citrus. Good carbonation and light mouth feel. Dry and slight bitter finish. Very little in the way of hops. This is a good lager or bad ipa
3.7golden, hazy, big long-lasting, white foam; peach, some pineapple, grassy, citruses; medium+ bitterness, light+ sweetness; medium body, slightly oily, average carbonation, long bitter and slightly tart finish;
Overall: balanced, without flaws, nice drinkability, very good
3.9A mid amber gold coloured beer with a thick and frothy white head. A strong hop aroma, grassy, citrus fruit, plus peach and unripened tropical fruits. Dry mouthfeel. The taste is tart hoppy fruits, pithy lime and grapefruit, unripened mango and peach. There is a grassy flavour as well, all leading to a tart, fizzy finish. Bottle from Morrisons, Fakenham.
3.9The aroma on this beer is quite stunning. It has fruit musk. Slightly over ripe apricot so juicy you worry that when you bite into it will be sour mush. Take tthat sip and bam. Not only is this firm flesh the f...ing thing bites back! Sharp as lemon drops, zingy as licking out a grapefruit skin. Settle back and balance it all in your palate. Could it be more this or less that? No.
3.6330 ml bottle. Aroma: Citrus, herbs. appearance: Yellow / Gold colout, clear, frothy white head. Taste: Citrus, tabaco, grass, herbs. Average carbonation, bitter finish. Verry good IPA
3.3330ml bottle at home, from Morrisons, Castlehill Road, Ayr (bb 17 Feb 2017), orange, malty aroma, straw with a very thin, bubbly head, tropical fruits, citrus, earthy, fizzy, bitter hop finish.
3.5Bottle; pours cloudy gold with a white head; aroma of citrus, grass, and malt; taste is bitter citrus with some malt and grass notes; bitter citrus finish; decent IPA
3.6330ml bottle, from Morrisons. Pale amber with a fairly tight head and an aroma of citrus fruits - bitter taste, not bursting with resinous hops, but a pretty solid IPA with a slightly sweet aftertaste.
3.4Bottle from Morrisons. Pours light gold with small bubbly lingering white head. Aroma of lemongrss, pine and a touch of pineapple, quite earthy. Taste is crisp and refreshing, medium bitter and mild sweet, lingering. Noticable medium to strong carbonation and a bit thin, despite that its rather nice!
3.4330ml bottle. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is bitter orange marmalade. Taste is mostly orange squash with a medium bitter orange finish.
3.6Bottle from Morrisons, pours golden-amber with a thin head and a lovely citrus, resin and herb nose. Firmly yet not aggressively dry-bitter, with overtones of sweet pineapple, mango and grapefruit. Astringent and lingering citrus bitter finish.
3.4Aroma is slightly tropical and boozy. Appearance a bit hazy and wit-like. But what I especially like is that the beer has solid and coarse up-front bitterness - which is what I like in a beer - and none of that poncy fruit salad ponciness. Well done, Dave!
4.0Pale straw with a large head on pouring. Strong but not overpowering hop flavour. Very smooth on the tongue and could turn into a session beer albeit with lethal consequences at 5.8%! Buy it now!
4.0Bottle from flavourly.com (use code ANDREWKDR for £12 off first order.) points a clear orange with a frothy white head that lasts. Nice lacing. Aromas of juicy pineapple, mango and apricot. Flavour is zesty citrus with apricot with a mild earthy linger. Lovely IPA.
3.0September 12, 2014 - at Craft Clerkenwell; handpull. Slightly hazy light gold with a few white suspended floaties - a small frothy white head. Aroma is ... light citrus and light resin, very faint grainy malt - not grabby, but okay (7-). Taste tends to backslide to the "English" IPA - some bitterness, but mostly astringent twiggy malt and crushed leaves - not bad, but a little harsh; not much alcohol. Solid body, definite astringency, modest carbonation, medium-length twiggy finish - not really loving it.
2.7Pours golden with a fluffy head. Aroma is pine, rubbing alcohol and lemongrass. Taste is dulled, a little malt, hardly any bitterness. A weak ipa.
3.3Many thanks to bobinlondon for this bottle, Cheers Bob! Pours a hazy dull golden yellow with a great colored head. The smell is tropical fruit, citrus. The taste is toasted grain, citrus, a bit of pineapple ending dry and bitter. The body is light+ with quite active carbonation that is finely structured.
3.5Bottle, chilled, pours with a thick white head, lacking hop influence on the nose, but nice grapefruit flavour, and a well balanced hop finish . Not bad .
3.5Bottle from morrisons. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus and orange, taste starts mid sweet to bitter finish.
3.6330ml bottle from Flavourly.
Good sized white head disappears quickly, lots of good lacing. Body is golden amber, almost clear with just a faint yeast haze. Nose is orange, peach. Flavour is peach, apricot, caramel, gentle bitter grass on the finish. Lingering aftertaste is a mesh of hop bitterness and malts. Light carbonation, mouthfeel is fairly thick and oily, more bite than I expected. Flavours seem a little unbalanced at times but overall an impressive IPA.
3.4Bottle. Hazy golden orange with a white head. Bready toasted malts with light apricot and lemon. Some apple with low sudsy pine. Grapefruit bitterness tangled with orange rind. Good.
3.5330ml bottle from my local M&S in Telford. BBD 24 May 16, poured into a Chimay chalice at home on 3 Aug 15. Cloudy dull light amber body, smooth off-white foam blanket on top. Citrus lead in the fruity aroma and taste, more pith and skin in the finish, Grapefruit being the most prominent flavour throughout. Fairly bitter with an almost sour feel to the heavy citrus dominance.
4.0Bottle from Morrisons. Light, crisp, fizzy. Good bite from the hops - don’t know what type they are, but they was t t t type that I like. Psycho. Black and white film, but shadow defined.
3.1Bottle. Pours a slight hazy golden colour. Fruity and hoppy aroma with a sweet but slightly bitter taste.
