3.0 Burk från Systembolaget. Kopparfärgad med luftigt smutsvitt skum. Kola, barr och bröd i doft och smak.
3.3 Klar äppeljuice färgad med ett lätt färgat skum. Doft: Humle, frukt honung, ljus malt, citrus skal. Smak: Besk humle, grape svagt av ljust bröd.
3.3 Appearance: Misty gold, moderate off-white head of decent retention. Aroma: Citrus fruit, honey, floral hop, Taste: light sweet and light to medium bitter. Citrus fruit, honey, meadow flowers, wormwood. Mouth feel: Medium body, soft to average carbonation. Summary: Too old of course. Even given that not bad.
4.0 Strong after taste
3.1 Good foam. Fruit, citrus (Grapefruit) floral notes of hops. Taste. Slaky, bitter, citrus, pine notes. The aftertaste is bittersweet. Very easy to drink.
3.1 Sometimes you just need a break from the hazy IPAs that occupy every store and every corner of the refrigerator. And sometimes you don’t even want an IPA. This Pale Ale takes me back to some of my first craft beers, before IBUs started hitting sky high. And because of that it is like so many other pale ales, clear and clean, with a nice squeeze of hops and a refreshing palate that would be very difficult to replicate in a higher gravity style.
3.1 爽やかな香り、ほろ苦く、余韻少ない、少し薄めであっさり
3.4 Decent IPA beer. Fruity flavors with a nice light body and mild bitter finish. Average carbonation. Good one!
3.1 Velkendt duft og smag. Minder om Als humlen.
3.0 Bland
3.8 On tap at Jackie’s Restaurant in Providence, RI. It poured a 1/2” head which quickly disappeared and had a honey color. Taste is typical for a mass marketed IPA with a good balance of bitterness. This a very drinkable but not outstanding.
3.0 Tap at Shay’s, Boston. Clear golden colour. White head. Citrus and grassy hop notes. Syrupy caramel malts. Quite bitter finish. Decent stuff.
3.5 Can at home. Orange color, middle foam size. Good balanced beer. Drinkable and fits into style.
2.9 9/11/2019. Can from Beer52. Pours pale amber with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma of hops, pine, leaves, sweet malt, caramel and syrup. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate bodym, sticky texture, average/prickly carbonation. Finishes with a bit of a spicy edge and some increase to bitterness. Not great.
3.2 Sample@Ølfestival, København 2019 (Day 3) - golden pour with a white head. Medium sweet malty and fruity, medium body, bitter hoppy finish.
2.5 330ml can from Beer52 in 2018. Mid golden. Leafy and piney hop aroma. Fairly malty flavour.
3.2 From tap at The Back Room, New York. Hoppy and malty aroma with citrus, malt, caramel, amd orange. Pretty sweet, medium bitter flavour. Body is medium. Malty and sweet.
3.8 For someone who doesn't like IPAs that much this was a very pleasant surprise.
3.2 Canned, 355ml from the Apothecary Tap, Banbury, Oxon. Gold to amber with white head. There is a high carbonation level initially to this, slight damp cardboard with a note of sweet caramel. There is a light, sweet hopped character, some citrus notes, some fruited flavours. It's quite drinkable but a little dull overall.
3.5 Beer 52
3.3 Aroma: Floral and fruity hops balanced by malty caramel and bread notes. Rather toned-down aroma, but it is a quite old can (9 months, but still within its best by date). Appearance: Clear copper. Good white head. Taste: Perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Enjoyable and drinkable. Palate: Medium-to-high carbonation, rather light body. Overall: Mediocre IPA, typical core range stuff.
3.4 Tight off white rocky head stayed on a slowly carbonating light copper coloured body. Sweet citrus, resin, syrup & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the tongue with softer clean back. Light crisp tastes of peach, sweet fruits, soft malt & syrup. Straightforward but a bit old school.
1.6 Tastes like a lager
1.9 355ml can from Beer52. Small white head, good lacing. Clear amber body. Very little on the nose, faint hints of malt. Flavour is malty biscuit, earthy hops. Lacking in bitterness. Light carbonation, thin mouthfeel. One of the worst IPAs I’ve tasted.
3.3 Can from Beer52. Appearance - Poured with a huge frothy head, subsided fairly quickly. Amber/caramel. Aroma - Pine/resin with a touch of spice/malt? Taste - malts, finishing with gentle bitter hops Some stewed fruits and caramel Body - good richness, building to a fairly astringent finish. Overall - not ordinarily my kind of beer, this is decent
3.4 Can. Nice bright dark gold pour, minimal lacing. Okay hop aroma, although a bit mild actually. Touch of caramel, some 'ale-like' quality. Could use a bit more hops for my taste... but I'll give it credit for being very drinkable. Wouldn't mind a few of these. Solid.
3.3 Copenhagen 19/6 2019. 35,5 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Drawing of a Tiger head and Two flowers on the label. Probably to justify the tagline “Hoppy, Floral, Crisp”. Pours clear light amber with small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam with small lumps of foam. Substantial Lacing. Aroma is medium intense, lightly perfumed and with a dry quality to it. Light sweetness from Peach and Pear. Slightly stronger notes of citrus. Overall pretty restrained. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger, insistent bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry. A quite old fashioned IPA - like the English makes them.
3.3 Can from Beer52. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and caramel. Taste is light sweet, some citrus on the finish. A little sweet for me.
3.5 On tap på Humle Ølbar i Næstved. Udmærket IPA som man kan forvente den.
3.0 Sampled on draught. Orange gold colour with a white head. Quite heavily carbonated. Little aroma. Taste is quite bland with a grassy bitterness. Not much malt flavour. Not an attractive beer - it’s not bad, just a little boring.
