3.1 Drinkable but flat tasting
3.5 Without too much aroma, perhaps a faint hop character and a touch of hay, this pours a lovely looking, slightly hazy pale gold with a fluffy white head. Moderately carbonated, with a crispness to the flavour of cut grass and biscuit malt, and a citrus bite of bitterness to round things off
3.4 Old rating from 03-10-15 - 500ml bottle, pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aromas of fruit, grass & hops. Taste is grainy with grapefruit, herbs & hops. Aftertaste is dry, light, and a little bitter.
3.5 Deep golden and clear with a semi lasting white head. Smells of fresh hay, grass, citrus and floral. Soft carbonation, light bodied with a little sweetness and a nice little hop bitterness. Drinks very easy.
3.5 I'm not usually a lager drinker but this is actually not that bad. Typical quality lager taste to it. On par with the German stuff.
3.7 Harviestoun Schiehallion 4.8%. Golden, wheaty aroma, light bodied, pale malt, wheaty, hint of honey, citrusy, sweet grapefruit, hint of lemon. Excellent craft lager from Alva 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
3.1 Bottle, small bubbly head, clear quite deep gold color, malty wood aroma, malty and quite sweet flavor with a light to medium bitterness. Nice and clean but a bit too sweet to my liking.
3.8 330ml bottle brewed in Scotland at 4.8%. Clear gold with a neat, fair-duration head. A little biscuity-honey malt, some sweetness, classic lager hops with a rather fruity vibe, almost a suggestion of raspberry in the aroma. Moderate- carbonation. Light drying tang finish, crisp and clear, some very light and clean honeyed white bread malt - and again, a little fruitiness alongside those twangy alpine hops - hint (just a hint mind!) of light raspberry, perhaps, or maybe sweetened gooseberry. A little odd, with shades of pilsner and lager contrasted, but it's easy to see why it's an award-winning brew. Not one for every occasion, thanks to its somewhat atypical nature (hard to pair this one with food particularly, or so I found), but even as someone who doesn't opt for lagers much, this is something I come back to every now and then, and was my introduction to that splendid brewery of Harviestoun.
3.9 12-09-2020; bottle; at home (bought at an unknown location). The looks of the beer are nice. It has a nice golden yellow colour. The beer has a slight haziness. On top a nice layer of soft white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. A minimal drape is left. Not bad. The aroma of the beer is nice too. Malts are grainy with a touch of biscuit. Not too strong. The hops are nice and herbal, with a slight floral note and also some spicy notes. Quite nice. The yeast also has a nice spiciness and also some fruity notes. There is a touch of lychee in the back too. It is quite an aromatic Pale Lager. The taste of the beer is nice too. Nice bitter hops and a nice sweet note of the malts. Yeast gives a nice slight spiciness. The beer is quite balanced, but the bitterness might be a little bit too strong. The palate is nice too. Medium-light body, slightly thin texture and medium carbonation. The finish is nice. It has as nice spicy hop note and some herbal notes. All in all, it is a very nice beer. A real great Pale Lager.
3.3 Gewoon een fijn, fris pilsener met lichte citrus tonen in de afdronk. Gebrouwen in Schotland. 4,8% alcohol. Uit Beerwulf pakket.
3.3 To give the final thoughts, Schiehallion is a full on Lager providing a powerfully hopped, zesty edge on the typical Pilsner. The citric bitterness is balanced well with the notes of bread, earth and pale malts and it certainly stands out from the crowd making it worthy of the 2008 “World’s Best Pilsner” award. However the mouthfeel makes the bottled option feel like a lacklustre variation, like it’s missing excitement, and therefore I would recommend the cask or keg alternatives first. 3.5 Bottle. Clear pale golden with white head. The aroma has notes of malt, earthy, white bread, black pepper. The flavor is mild sweet and mild bitter with notes of malt, herbs, earthy, black pepper, some lemon. Medium-bodied.
2.1 At Lior's Place, pours yellow with a small head, aroma of corn, vegetables, flavor is really bitter, vegetables, slightly sweet, medium bodied
3.5 Bright golden, crisp and clean. Some biscuit flavours with hay aroma and a lovely flower perfumed note. Bright and zesty. Quenches your thirst.
3.0 Cloudy yellow in colour. Thin head and neutral aroma. Slight crispy taste, and butter finish.
3.4 Yellow colour with thin white head. Aroma of grass, lemon, bread, hops. Taste is acttally quite similar to czech lager which served as inspiration for this beer, malty sweet (maybe too sweet) at first with bitterness in finish and aftertaste. That comes with fruity freshness which seema to be main difference thanks to hops used. Quite good actually.
5.0 Bottle from a mixed case. Pours a lovely golden colour with decent carbonation, but minimal head. Mild hoppy aroma, with a full, crisp slightly grassy taste and a dry, bitter taste. Lovely stuff.
2.3 Aroma : Lightly toasted cereal grain, touch of lemon citrus light grassy undertone. Taste : As aroma. Light and refreshing with a sligtly drying citric finish. O.K. for this style but still not very interesting!

3.6 Bottle in London with fish & chips. Clear pale yellow with a lacy white head and active bubbles. Looks amazing. Grassy, floral, grainy aroma. Flavor is bready and grainy, dry with some medium bitter grassy hops. Light and crisp feel. Good for what it is.

3.4 0,33l bottle. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma of sweet malt, floral, lemon, grassy. Taste is sweet malt, grassy hops, lemon, grainy. Leaves on a hoppy finish. Has the aroma and taste of a quality lager.
3.5 Backlog. Clear gold with a small white head. Great craft lager with just enough hoppy complexity to lift it out from the ordinary.
3.4 Many thanks for this "champagne lager" to jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com) Piwo dolnej fermentacji, niby nic specjalnego ale w takie 30 stopniowe upaly jest boskie, wytrawne, chmielne z mala dawka slodowosci. Jasne jak zloto olimpijskie. Do tego spora trwala piana
