3.8 Bottle from LazyPyro as part from European Local Swap 2018. Many thanks! Hazy yellow colour, white creamy foam. Medium carbonation. Nose of mango, pineapple, pine, citrus. Taste is citrussy, medium sweet, light malty. Easy drinkable. Nice!
4.0 Bottle at home Pours very light yellow, no head at all. Aroma of light cereal, grass and some caramel/malt. Taste is moderate bitter, resinous, citrus, some tropical fruits. Refreshing, extraordinarily drinkable for the ABV - excellent beer. Palate is solid, nice body. Overall, respectably solid bitterness with a hint of interesting fruit, old fashioned beer updated for the modern day.

3.5 Appearance- golden and slightly hazy, with a small clingy white head. Aroma- floral hops, citrus, hints of pineapple and pithy orange. Taste- bitter hops, citrus fruit, rough malt, juicy fruit, slightly fluffy, pineapple juice, mango hints, bitter fruity finish.
3.3 Keg at the Beer Hall, Staveley. Dark gold, hazy with a lot of visible carbonation. Light and slightly tart aroma of gooseberry, lime juice, a touch of candied citrus. Taste is on the bitter side, with slightly musty hops in the long finish. Uncompromisingly bitter, but never acrid, aftertaste. Packs a punch, and certainly enjoyable, but not one of my favourites from Hawkshead.
2.8 Lett tåkete gulbrun med hvitt skum. Lukter noe trevirke, sitrus og korn. Middels - i fylde. Mye bitterhet, sitrusskall. (Grunerløkka Mikrobryggfestival 2017)

5.0 Truely awesome on tap at Hawkshead Brewery, Staveley. After living in NZ for 12 years this was a breath of fresh air. NZ hops are amazing. Flavourful and hoppy beer with citrus top notes followed by rich depth of dry IPA lushesness. A classic 5 star beer.
3.9 Keg, The Criterion, Leicester. Hazy golden with a firm foam. Biscuit and light caramel toasted malts with lemon and grapefruit. Jammy apricot with tropical fruit. Lilt soft drink. Pithy white grape skin. Some English hedgerow. Dry spicy finish. Massively drinkable for its strength. Hawkshead not so traditional now.

4.2 Keg at Andrew Ushers. Pours an amazing vibrant slightly hazed orange gold with a frothy egg white head that lasts. Aromas of tropical fruits, apricots, citrus, passion fruit and candy sweets. Flavour is again very tropical with citrus kiwi, passion fruit and a lovely hoppy pine linger. Sublime!
3.8 330ml bottle. Hazy golden pour with a small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, tropical fruit, passionfruit, apricot, citrus. Taste is similarly fruity with a nice sweetish malty backbone reminiscent of a good bitter, tropical fruit hops adding some bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, relatively low bitterness for the style and very easy drinking.
3.4 Pours clear golden with low white head. Aroma of citrus, malt, light fruit. Taste is rich bitter with a light fruit sweetness before a lingering bitter finish. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.

Citrusy and tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, orange, orange zest, marmalade, hints of peach and apricot. Taste is citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, slightly piny, moderately bitter, slightly sweet, biscuity malty basis, (in comparison to the aroma) minimally diluted notes of passion fruit, mango, orange, grapefruit, some marmalade, hints of peach and apricot, minimally grassy, waxy and chalky overtones; soft palate, gentle carbonation. Wonderful.

4.0 Cask at The Manchester Beer Festival. A clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Taste of passionfruit, apricot, gooseberry, some kiwi, grapefruit, slight orange, a little biscuity malts and subtle floral, grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, fruity, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Packed full of NZ hops, really fruity and hoppy. My kind of IPA.
3.6 bottle from Hopticial Beer Store Doncaster. Golgen colour. Mango, kiwi, passion fruit, apricot and candy aroma. Taste: start is citrusy and tropuical fruit, sweet middle, high hoppy and bittery finnish.
3.7 Creamy citrus fruits, grapefruit, lemon milkshake, grain malts. Slightly hazy, dark gold, small, frothy, white head. Light bitter. More creamy citrus fruits, grapefruit again, sherbet lemon, bitterness intensifies, soft carbonation. Fantastic Golden Ale, excellent citrus fruits in aroma and palate. Cask at GBBF16, Olympia.

3.3 Clear golden with white head. Kiwi, guava and melon. Dry, earthy and crisp. Great!
3.8 Golden beer with big funky grassy hops and fruit - rocket, smoked cheese and grilled apricot all there. Palate hoppy too, with mixed peel fruit. Very dry finish.
3.3 Pours amber with loght white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma druity, passion fruit and apricot. Taste similar sweet fruit and well balanced with hops. Not bad.
3.0 330 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok. Looks: Translucent straw amber colour; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with zero carbonation. Aroma: Quite fragrant Ale malt, with light passion fruits, apricots, mangoes, floral, sugar, pine, light resins, biscuits and light lemon. Taste: Mid sweet fair Ale malt, with grapefruits, faint apricots, floral, light molasses, light pine, moderate resins, dry biscuits, strong lemon oil, strong bitter hops and fresh grass. Body: Close to light body. Watery and slightly oozy palate. Mouth Feel: Fairly good Ale maltyness in a very thin background. Strong grapefruit and citrus oil dominate, plus fair floral, moderate sweetness, biscuits, strong lemon and fresh grass to round. Very simple but quite nice! Hoppiness: Light passion fruits, apricots, mangoes, floral, pine, light resins, and light lemon in nose. Grapefruits, faint apricots, floral, light pine, resins, strong citrus oil and fresh grass in taste; Bitterness is strong for a lasting, high astringent bitter-sweet finish. After Taste: Dry. Oily citrusy and strong bitter to mouth. Comments: I was expecting some real tropical fruity aroma from this one, but it was underwhelming and weak, yet its citrus hop taste is oily and fresh, strong and effective. Decent enough overall, but I rather have a NZ Pale Ale from New Zealand instead.
3.7 On tap at What’s Brewing 2015, day 1. Hazy orange body, medium white head. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, forest fruits. Taste is bitter, tropical fruits, clean and dry. Good body without being sweet. Refreshing hoppy finish, same tropical theme lasting.
