In the book of Exodus, the ancient Hebrews survived 400 years of bondage before the ultimate supreme court dropped the 10 deadly Plagues on the land of the taskmasters and the head dictator, Pharaoh. Even then, only begrudgingly, did he Let My People Go. The freedom ride across, nay through the sea left a band of wandering nomads broke and suffering, no doubt with a profound hunger – and a mighty thirst. Enter the Manna: a glorious gift to nourish body and soul. Manna was said to combine the tastes of everything most delicious to each individual, depending on their desire. And as the Good Book says, Each shall gather according to one’s need and shall enjoy a double portion for thine chosen day of rest. Manna fed the entire tribe, but tradition suggests the righteous received manna ground in a heavenly mill, while the wicked had to grind it below for themselves. Hear o’ Tribe of Shmaltz – Behold: A celebration of the flower of the craft beer revolution! A golden opportunity to feed your inner hop head and rejoice in HOP MANNA, our newest delicacy of the modern He’brew Beer family. L’Chaim! Dry Hopped with Centennial, Cascade and Citra (Centennial and Cascade in Batch 4).

2.3Smells like crusty socks, tastes what I'd imagine crusty socks taste like. Too much malt in this one and the recipe itself seems like a hot mess vs something thought out. Skip this one, unless you're just looking to get drunk.
3.8Pours a medium golden amber color with a small disappearing head. Aromas of citrus hops, sweet malts, and a hint of fruit. Flavors of grapefruit, orange, with subtle hints of caramel.
3.3APPEARANCE- ornagisht light amber color that has a lot of turbidity.
NOSE- strong West coast style hop nose with small amounts of tropical fruit scent.
FLAVOR- strong hop finish, but not much up front on the sip.
3.5Toffee malt, dry, lots of citrus, dried fruit (apricot) and dates, generous bitterness, orange color, good mouthfeel, really solid beer overall.
3.8Bottle from Bethesda Food and Beverage. Amber body with puffy white head. Nose is grassy, hops and spicy. Tate is lots of hops of course but also nice caramel and spicy notes. Nice texture. Subtle and enjoyable.
3.5Golden color. Big , white had . Aroma of citrus , pine and malt . Same notes in dry taste with significant bitterness. Nothing special, though decent IPA.
3.6Dark copper beer with a medium foamy bright white head. Citrusy hop nose of grapefruit pith, pine resin, and lemon oils. Flavor is juicy with citrus flavors that coat the tongue and devolve into something oily and pungent, in a good way. Underneath is a bit of sweetness that comes through gradually. Pretty good and not overpowering.
3.4Draught @ Albion. Cloudy lemony yellow with medium sized foamy off-white head, citrus aroma, lightly bitter lemon zest flavored thin body, medium bitter finish with citrus aftertaste. Very flavorful and refreshing brew, very much Citra dominated.
3.6Bue en juillet 2014. Légère (6.8%) mais on retrouve les ingrédients d’une 2ipa. Sucré, résineuse et houblonnée. Amertume de zeste d’agrume. Correcte
3.3On tap at Mac Greg’s. Anne says pretty good not wonderful. We like the name. Earthy and fruity, and nice body. I’d try again.
3.6Appearance is a medium golden brown with decent head/lacing. Smells of powerful hops and a touch of citrus. Taste is the prototypical IPA, great. Mouthfeel is clean, not too bitter or carbonated.
3.6Bottle. Light gold IPA, clear with a tall foamy head. Medium body overall a solid IPA with assertive hops
3.0Bottle at the hotel room in San Diego. Hazy golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, caramel, bready, dill, some hay. Hoppy citrus flavor, pine, grapes, some biscuits. Not very fresh.
3.8Pours orange-amber, nice creamy white head that retains and leaves lacing. Aroma of grass, pine, herbs, spices, sweet malt...really nice. Has that stock He’brew flavor which is rich and caramel yet spicy and distinctive to their beers. Maybe it is the yeast they use, but I like it. Well balanced taste, soft carbonation, medium body, creamy texture, and balanced finish. Very mild for an IPA, not astringent. Would revisit.
3.2Bottled. Has a bold upfront hops taste. Mostly citrus hops. Dry after taste. A grassy comes out after a couple drink. Decent IPA
3.7From June 1, 2014 at a distributor function in Denver. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grassy hops & phenols. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of bitter roots, straw hops, light malts. Overall big, bold & bitter.
3.5Bottle from Hop City. Pours orange with a white head. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus fruits and grassy hops. Taste of caramel, citrus fruits and pine. Bitter aftertaste. Decent beer
2.512 oz single bottle on sale at Supermarket Liquors. Orange and light hazy appearance with a sticky head. Old, musty aroma with notes of cardboard and fruity esters. The flavor adds medium hop bitterness, light sweetness and oxidization. A little harsh and hard to drink. Meh.
3.6355 mL bottle. Citrussy IPA, with quite a high level of bitterness. Definitely worth another try.
3.9Excellent blend of malt sweetness and several tasty hops. Alcohol is reasonable for a full flavored IPA.
3.6355ml bottle
Pours clear orange with a smooth head. Aroma of crisp caramely malts, fruits, grassy hops and resin. Taste is caramely malty, sweetish and resinous with some citrus, grass and pine. Finish is hoppy, caramely and sweetish with smoe caramely malts and resin. Okay.
3.6355 ml bottle. Enjoyed at Los Angeles, CA. Pours a hazy golden amber colour with a small head. Aroma of fresh floral hops, resin and mandarin orange. Flavour of crisp citrusy bitterness, biscuit, mild sweetness, grass and resin. Medium bodied. Quite malty.
3.7355 ml bottle @ hotel room, Los Angeles.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Very resinous aroma, sweet fruity notes and pine. Flavor has our amber, resin, pale caramel malts and juicy notes. A bit different but tasty IPA.

3.835,5 cl bottle @ hotel room, Los Angeles. Aroma as sweet fruity tones, caramel and tropical fruits. Flavour has resiny malt, some tropical fruits and grapefruit. Also fruit candy. Easy to drink but still quite rich.
3.5Rated based on notes taken 29 July 2012 -- A nice brew. More of an earthy IPA than the citrus I prefer.
3.3Draft poured a light orange color with aromas of light hops, cotrus, malt and a touch of pine. Flavors are light grain and malt with some cotrus light bitterness in the aftertaste decent but doesn’t cure the hop bite I’m looking for.
3.6big citrus hop and full of resin like rye. fragrant flowery and sugary with enough tang and backbone to remain respectable. chewy mouthfeel and a bit of zing.
3.7Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is resiny hops and medium malt. Flavor is sweet bready malt and resiny hops. Solid resiny bitter with notes of lemon zest. Bitter grows as it goes. Medium body with just a touch of fizz. Solid ipa
3.512 ounce bottle, no dating on the bottle that I could find. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around for a long time. There’s also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells mostly like pine and citrusy (orange peel, grapefruit) hops, along with some bready malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also some wheatiness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s coating and a bit creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I liked it OK, but I didn’t think it was one of the better IPA’s I’ve had. Since this bottle was given to me from one of my friends, I really have no idea how old it is. I’d like to try this again in the future.
2.9Bottle from Whole Foods Market in Redwood City, CA. Pours a light amber with a very frothy head. Aroma is hops, hop resins, earthenware, something chemical / moth ball-y. Taste is moderate bitterness with a bit of metallic / tinny taste. Wonder if I got an older bottle.
