4.1 Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! A hazy orange golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of grapes, tart fruits, wood, dry fruits. Taste of tart fruits, grapes, wood, dry fruits, nice!
4.5 Bottle from the pub bought a few years ago. Great deep fruity intense nose. Horse blanket, funk. Sourness, smooth mild wood, fantastic mild with a nice woody touch. The funk is not too intense, the sourness quite smooth, long sour funky aftertaste, round and fruity, full of depth and horse blanket, round and intense. Really fantastic balanced!
4.0 Pours cloudy amber with tall white head. Aroma of grass, green grapes, cracked garden branches. Taste is crisp, tart, mildly funky. Light and smooth body with soft carbonation.
4.0 Bottle shared at RBSG. The beer is a hazy copper with a white head of foam. Grassy and earthy aroma. Nice sulfuric notes with a grassy herbal quality in the taste. Medium body and soft carbonation.
4.1 RBSG 17 grand tasting, courtesy of T0rino. Pale, golden, light haze, fluffy head. Nose is pure sourness, funky, yeasty, cheese, meadow. Taste is all of the above with a nice velvety feel, and just enough of a pucker. Really nice!
4.3 Bottle drunk 6/10/17. Cork immediately pushes out violently, but amazingly there is no gushing. Great clarity in the brassy-gold liquid with obviously large amounts of carbonation creating a big, white head. Initial notes before it really has a chance to breath display light rust, tons of cork and leather with musty cellar, wet hay and lots of horseblanket. But for the rust and cork, it’s quite complex and enjoyable. Anyways, predictably, the metal and cork fade away fairly rapidly and in its place, a sizable maltiness (rich honey-drizzled, freshly-baked bread and biscuity wheat) balances tons of lemon and lighter, fruitier Brett. Quite intense, but I love it. Reminds of early 2000’s Cuvee Rene. No alcohol or flaw. Great, balanced acidity profile, despite the intensity. More cuvee-like in the mouth, as well, with strong sourness, cellar must and biting lemon-like acidity that gets soaked up, somewhat, by the heavy leather and hay profile of malt and wood. Don’t remember quite as malty a lambic in a long time, but it obviously works well against the strong acidity. Imparts a great texture and there’s little you can complain about here. No big oak, no green apple, low acetic acid. I guess DHVL wanted something that would age nicely and this certainly fits the bill. Showing no sign of slowing down. I assume this is going to be ridiculously complex and interesting in 5-10 years. Already excited to revisit.
4.0 Backlogi z kilku ostatnich tygodni - ciąg dalszy. Nie tak bogate, jakaś drobna nuta apteczna. Fajnie mineralne, skóra. Bardzo dobre.
4.0 Bottle. Aroma is earty, lactic, citric. Taste pretty sour, dry, light tart. Flavor light mineral, soil, funky, leather and lemon.
4.0 Bottle shared by tom10101, MANY MANY THANKS MAN FOR THE OPPORTUNITY! Tasted blind. Pours a pretty clear golden with a small white head that leaves low lacing. Nose is of light rubber, sweaty socks and generally funky. Taste is moderately tart and a little citric. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. A really nice one! Felt almost like some 3 Fonteinen at times but I also thought it could be an Oud Beersel maybe.
4.2 750ml bottle at de heeren. Pours out a golden topped with a tall white head. Nose is great sour funk barnyard wow amazing. Taste is more of the nice funky tartness.
4.3 Bottle: Served in a taster: Fluffy off white head. Cloudy orange body. Nose is immense cellar tone with some dust and mold... quite woody and a very light fruity tint. Flavour is more bitter than tart, some yellow/orange fruit, wood, funk, light dry, cellar, light farm and some light light cheese... Aftertaste is dry, wood, fruit, funk, cellar, wet stone... Low carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, more than just medium bodied. With the last pour it becomes a bit more tart than bitter... The nose scares a bit but the flavour is good! Very nice beer!
4.1 Bottle with everybody for Max’s doctorate. Pours a hazed amber with a medium sized white head. Musk, lightly sweet and softly fruity, apricot, soft sweetness. Slow and musky, gentle wood. Lovely

4.0 From Bottle @fonefan gueuze tasting Ulfborg, thanks to Nightfall - june 24th 2016. Pours an unclear orangy amber with a small white head. Aroma has blue cheese, oak, lots of mold, super leathery dry, light grapes. Taste is sour, dry, funky, brettish, rather short lasting taste, but really tasty for as long as it lasts.
3.9 Bottle @ Ulfborg gueze tasting. Light cloudy dark golden pour with a huge frothy head that quickly vanishes. Very high carbo, stone fruit, red apples, citric, lemon and some hay.
4.1 Bottle @ Gueuze tasting 2016 ulfborg. Pours golden with a white head, seems a bit overcarbonated. Aroma of funk, loads of horseblanket, like notes, light sesam notes. Rather fruity, stonefruits. Taste is rather funky, good barn. :)

4.1 Bottle at the restaurant. Nice. Easy going, citrus, nice sourness. Funky and dusty. Quite full on. Wish I had made more notes.
4.0 (750ml bottle from DHVL, purchased/drank Nov 16 2015) Pours hazy orange gold with a huge white head and lace after a violent gushing upon opening. No shortage of carb, and it probably was a bit disturbed by me carrying it back to Brussels. Aroma of green apple, apple skin, damp basement, a little citrus peel, dried herbs, pretty woody (Girardin there?) with some tannins on the nose, maybe light phenols. Flavour is smooth but not particularly punchy. Lemon, lime and a little orange juice, acidity is light and lactic. A bit of apple skin, citrus pith, light dry grass. Finish has woody tannins, a bit of dry grassy medicinal hops, soft lingering fruit. Medium mouthfeel with light carb remaining. Nice balanced gueuze albeit a little restrained and anonymous. Maybe my fault for drinking it a few hours after Helena and Zomer, because it’s a good blend in its own right.
3.7 (750ml bottle thanks to brystmar) lightly cloudy, thick yellowish bubbles. Nose of flint, wood char, must, bone dry, salt and mushroom. Taste is flinty, wood char, wet barrel, lemon, bone dry. Good beer but lacking in complexity a bit.
4.3 Bottled. Cloudy amber, rich coarse head. Concentrated funky lemon peel and hay aroma. Tart with light-medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Hay, cobwebs and barnyard. Mild citric acid and stale hop bitterness. Rich and complex.
4.0 2/21/15. Sampled during RBWG 2015. Golden pour with a small off-white head, good lacing. Nice aroma, good blend of barnyard funk, tartness, vanilla, oak, hay, and citrus. Good flavor, nice sourness, balanced, not overly puckering, vanilla, oak, hay, citrus. Tasty!
3.9 Bottle at de Heeren. Yellow pour with a white head. Mild lemon zest and barnyard bouquet. Tasty with mild citrus and lemon zest highlights. Dry with hints of brine and and funk. Good body and mouthfeel.
3.9 Tasted at RBWG. Cloudy orange. Light citrus, hay, barnyard, grassy. Good carbonation. Light and crisp.
