Henninger Kaiser Pilsner

Henninger Kaiser Pilsner

Henninger Kaiser Pilsner is the top product of the Henninger brewery and one of Frankfurt's most traditional beers. Its full-bodied pils flavour has made it a firm favourite for years with many consumers even outside its home region.
In Thuringia, eastern Germany, Henninger Kaiser Pilsner is the second most frequently consumed beer. Brewed in accordance with the famous Beer Purity Law of 1516, Henninger Kaiser Pilsner tastes best at a temperature of 8°C.

2.4 0,5 l, brewed and canned in Greece. Clear dark golden in the glass, one finger white head. Straw and some malt smell. Taste has straw, some cheap malt. Boring.
3.5 Assaggiata alias greca kaiser pilsner
2.1 Uzupełnienie ocen piwnych bez opisu z uwagi na przeniesienie z papierowych zapisków.
3.1 In Greek restaurants and tavernas, where lagers are all there are, often the best beer available. aromas of urine, barley, ocean. flavors of lemon, lemon peel, corn. clear yellow with a greenish tinge. 5% alcohol
2.7 From backlog. Bottle at Hotel Maistrali, Affissos, Greece. Brewerd in Greece. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, Caramel, bitterness.
2.8 Bottle at a Restaurant in Athens - as Kaiser Pilsner, labeled as beer from Greece. Average Pilsner, but quite refreshing on a hot day, especially in Greece.
4.0 Mørk smag af brændte mandler og lidt karamel. Typisk humle fra industriøl, altså kun let bitterhed.
3.0 Aroma: caramel with light roasted notes. Taste: medium bitter, grassy. Cough drop aftertaste.
2.7 As Kaiser Pils. Bottle in Corfu Town, Island of Corfu, summer of 2017. Drank from the bottle. Malty with a very light hop touch. Sweet, light bitterness for balance. Light body, moderate carbonation, light finish. Not that good, actually.
2.6 Can (Greece). Golden, clear, white foam. Aroma: sweet, a little fruity and spicy, light hint of grassy hops. Taste: sweet, malt, wort, halva, medium hop bitterness.

2.3 Pite w wersji greckiej.
1.9 25-06-18 // 300ml on tap at Brauhaus Henninger am Turm in Frankfurt. "Famous" HKP, like the shittiest pils you can in Frankfurt by reputation. On tap not that worse as from a can or bottle actually. But no good Pils.
2.2 May 2018 - 330ml can on the balcony of Oia apartment. As 'Kaiser Pilsner 100% Pure Malt Est 1869', brewed and canned by Olympic Brewery, SA, Athens (but Ratebeer takes me here), BB Jan 2019. Pours a golden yellow, lightly sparkling, pretty much clear, small head diminishes quickly to leave full grey-ish lacing. Aroma is corn, grains and lots of margarine. Body is light and frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is clean and crisp, touch of corn, papery, crackers. Not much to it. The sort of beer that thrives in beautifully sunshiney countries where beer serves only as refreshment. (4-3-3-3-9=2.2)
2.4 On tap at a student pub in Darmstadt. Clear pale gold pour with thin white head. Aroma is grainy, dull, metallic, light fruity notes. Taste is sweet and grainy, a bit cloying. Palate is light bodied with light carbonation. Bleh.
1.8 Ah, nothing like a nondescript supermarket pale lager to brighten up my day! Greek version, can, for what it’s worth. This stuff has a very thin white head on yellow, like someone submersed a fluffy doily in my beer or something. Soft cardboard (industrialized, made at the factory) with a slight citrus hint on the nose. Flavour is fusel sharpness and fake syrup. Cloying finish. Not even a refreshing cheap lager, too overbearing for its own good. Watery would have been better but this stuff is too present snd that presence is bad.
2.8 Bottle, the Greek edition. Pours clear golden with large foamy white head, malt aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste, thin body, abrupt finish with faint bitter aftertaste. Generic pilsner
2.6 500ml bottle under Kaiser Pisner name at Non-Stop Restaurant in Athens for 2.50euro Good.
2.8 Bottle in Germany. Nice balance between cornish, malty taste and ligth bitterness
2.4 Average Pilsner. Medium bitterness, medium taste, pretty mainstream, nothing to stand out from the masses of Pils available.
3.0 Malt, hops and a bit of fruit in the fragrance. Golden, transparent with a small white foam. In the taste of malt, a little hops. Light body, large carbonation.
2.6 Bottle as Kaiser Pilsner, stable long lasting cream with small bubbles head, clear yellow color, bready aroma, a little heavier malty flavor with an emathic medium bitterness. Simple but quite pleasant.
1.9 also not one of my favorites too metalic and not as tasty as expected. slight malty taste but nothing special
1.5 Gulbrun klar med høyt hvitt skum. Lukter honning og maltekstrakt. Lett. Søt maltig smak, uten bitterhet. Kort. Veldig vannete...
1.5 Can from shop in olympiaki akti. Disappointing, even more so when I discover it’s a German beer. It’s finer you’re not intentionally tasting it but otherwise, sticky metallic beer. Re-rated. Can from shop in Larissa. Grapefruit & cheap lager tastes. 1.7 to 1.5.
2.0 Below average lager. Metallic and not very tasty. The bitterness is very weak with a short finish.
3.4 From old tasting notes. Bright brassy gold color. Big creamy white head. Small bubbles cascade in a Center column. Light malty hop bouquet. Clean crisp cracker malt flavor. Nice mild hop character appears in finish. A pleasant all around pils.
2.2 In der griechischen Version. 0,5l Flasche. Strohgelbes klares Bier mit klassisch hellgelbem Schaum. Grasiges Aroma. Etwas Hopfen. Antrunk herb metallisch. Getreide. Standard Pilsner. Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger.
