3.4 I hardly rate regular bigger brand lager, but I noticed something specific. Clear golden pour with stable white head. Aroma is malty (but not unpleasant), bit hay-ish. Taste a mix of moderate bitter, and some spicy sweetness. This pilsener does have an own character; not bad, within the little specific type
2.3 Can at home. A kovetkezo generic nagyuzemi lager a sorban, szora sem erdemes valojaban.
3.0 Tap at Cafe Sluyswacht, Amsterdam, 14th September 22. Pours clear. Aroma is floral, light hay. Taste is nicely bitter, hay, grass, floral.
3.1 On draft in Cochem, Germany. Clear light gold with full white head. Crisp with solid malt on both the aroma and flavor. No noticeable off flavors. Slight fruity esters. Had this during the peak of the summer record heat, so it was a nice refresher.
5.0 Gewoon ongelofelijk lekker pilsje voor met de mannen in t hok, en glijd er altijd heerlijk in
3.0 Nice can! Is it bargain basement alcoholic pils or something more up market? Lots of gold and a seal... A cheery duke John supping from his can. No it's a glass. Typical pils golden clear. Malty nose with some hops nosing through. Full bodied brew actually. Pleasantly bitter. Medium carb. Nice aftertaste, bitter and malty. Good pils if a little over balanced with malts in aftertaste! Pils should be less malty IMHO. Otherwise it's a Helles but in Holland, ain't no Helles... So a malty Pils can exist? Hmmmm.
3.0 Bottle - 330ml. Limpid blond body with an average, white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with bready, and herbal hints. Its will balanced malty/hoppy taste carries herbal, bready, and flowery notes. Good bittersweet finish. Not bad.
3.0 [as Hertog Jan Traditioneel Naturzuiver Bier] Bottiglia.
2.9 0.33 l can from Gulpener Brouwerlokaal, Gulpen, the Netherlands as "Hertog Jan Natuurzuiver Bier". Golden, clear, OK head. Quite a full body, decent lager.
2.4 0,25 l vom Fass. Riecht relativ neutral, schmeckt auch so. Purer Durstlöscher.
4.4 Heerlijk
2.6 Recht laues Lager, bisschen Getreide, leicht Hopfen, süß, aber für heiße Tage geht das schon. Vom Fass.
3.1 Pours clear golden with a white average sized head. Aroma has maltiness and crispier grassy notes of hops. Taste follows the aroma with smooth maltiness and a refreshing touch of hoppy bitterness. A rather simple, mild and straightforward, but still a well balanced pils. (Poured from a 33cl can, bb 21/09/2022)
3.1 Beer with gold color, clear aspect, soft bitterness, soft carbonized, some foam on top (bought a 30 cl bottle beer at "Coop", Vledder, NL #1290)(#8 NL)(#2 Limburg).
3.0 On tap at the hotel bar. Golden pour with smallish white. Aroma of malts and some hops. Same for the taste - decent standard pilsener.
2.8 Keg at Humpreys restaurant in Breda. I should really rate this again as I was busy drinking it but thankfully no metal involved or any issues so was a good pils for the moment.
3.1 On tap at Huize Maas, Groningen. Golden with medium white head. Malty, some hopinness, easy drinkable, light to moderate bitterness. Not that bad.
3.6 Bronze, clear, white coarse foam. Mild aroma hint of fruit and grain. Mild sweet taste. Caramel hint of metsl in the aftertaste. A nice lager.
2.5 Aromat zbożowy mokre zboże słód ale też jest takie muśnięcie chmielowe Ala bazylia oregano. W smaku znowu ta biszkoptowe, ciezkawa slodowosc na szczęście przełamana nisko-srednia goryczka. Przeciętne.
2.0 Perfect draft. Raved about on forums but one of the poorer lagers on PD IMO. Bland and tasteless.
3.1 Plain, mild and soft
4.1 Beste bier van Nederland
2.6 Cheap beer in Amsterdam area. A very regular pilsner, not particular good or bad. Very little to say about, just average I guess
3.2 hertog jan never fails me <3 fave normale biertje
3.3 more blonde-ale-like than most. Darker yellow, not much for hop contribution. Fine light lager. Albert heijn Amsterdam
2.7 I've been drinking this beer for a long time, so I'm just taking this here to keep it written
5.0 Gewoon goeie normale biertje duh
2.5 Ganz unspektakulär. Recht mild mit malzigem Einschlag. Wässrig, süffig leicht pappig.
