High Water Hop Riot IPA

High Water Hop Riot IPA

Hop Riot IPA is our flagship beer. Brewed in the American IPA style with a definitive "Left Coast" attitude. We brew our IPA with an aggressive bitterning level which is complimented and balanced by a defined malt backbone. Our final signature is the dry hop step where fresh hops are immersed in the finished beer to provide the floral and citrus aromas of our IPA, a Hop Riot indeed.

2.8 @ Basunen 15-8-15: känns lite trött. Malt och trött humle. Lite smör, fin fyllighet. Nja.
3.4 Loads of fresh hops on the nose, but also a malt influence. The flavour lacks a sharp hop finish, the malt dominates the final taste.
2.1 Bottled at Flying Scotsman, Stockholm. Cloudy golden small head. Caramelly sugary nose. Sweet with medium body and sticky mouthfeel. Limp caramel dominates totally. Peppery bitter finish.
3.1 How : tap Appearance : hazy dark orange, small to medium white head. Aroma : tropical fruits, caramel, floral, herbs and some pine. Palate : medium body, soft carbonation.
3.2 Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, orange, biscuity malt, caramel, pine, leaves, some floral notes, hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a medium bitter finish. Too malty and sweet, but still drinkable. Not a "hop riot" at all.
4.0 Bottle, 650 ml from Svijet Piva. Courtesy of Kova, shared with him and Miro. Hazy yellow with medium white head. Hoppy bitter, citrus, pine, good malty base. Dry hoppy bitter finish.
4.1 Ambar oscura, bonita, con abundante espuma blanca. Turbia. Aroma muy muy potente. Pino predomina.
4.1 Bottle from Brewdog online. Hazy orange amber with creamy white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, pine and malts. Nice malty, hoppy, spicy taste with citrus hops and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Very nice.
3.9 Bottle 66cl / Botella 66cl. @ Cervezorama 2.0. A: Amber / Ambar. T/S: Hops, fruity, citrusy, malty / Lupulo, afrutado, citrico, malta.
3.9 Butelka 60cl. NOS : tarta i żywica. Oprócz oczywistych nut pomelo i mango wyczuwam troszeczkę świeżej gruszki i jabłka. Pozytywnie. USTA : umiarkowanie nasycone o kremowej i puszystej konsystencji. Przyjemne w ustach. Świetnie wyważone miedzy słodkością a gorzkością. Polecam. Nic za dużo ani za mało. Balans i przyjemność w piciu. Do tego bardzo przyjemne w ustach. IPA dla początkujących.
3.3 Bottled 650ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, piney hoppy nose. Moderate sweet malty, piney and grapefruity hoppy, notes of caramel and herbs with rather sweet finish. Not bad at all but really nothing special here.
3.6 Amber colored, a bit cloudy, nice white head. Aroma is caramel biscuit, floral and citrus hops. Taste medium to heavy sweet caramalt, floral candy, grapefruit citrus, some pine, dry medium bitter finish. Maybe a bit too sweet and malty. Medium bodied, somewhat oily. Thanks to Ogi!
3.3 Oof, huge thanks Ogi for bringing this! Poured a misty amber-orange body with a small whtie head that went away fast. Aroma... humm... is this stale? No date on the bottle. Sweet, malt-driven with a tea-like fruity hop note, slightly tropical. Taste... orange, honey, tea, solid, slightly excessive even malty backbone, just vaguely citrusy. Mid bitterness for the style, quite fine though, some nice notes, but it’s not my type of IPA if it’s supposed to be like this.
4.0 Aromat: potężne uderzenie żywic i iglaków z akcentami czerwonych owoców. skórka od grefruta i trawiaste posmaki Wygląd: średnio klarowne ciemne złoto, piękna piana Smak: mocarne uderzenie goryczki, żywice, sporo owoców, w tle delikatna, ale przyjemna landrynka Odczucie: goryczka zalegąjaca, wysoka, ale bardzo przyjemna. Świetna West Coast IPA. Nic dodać, nic ująć. Perfekcyjne wbicie się w styl.
3.7 Orangish color with a light beige head, good lasting and medium lacework. Aroma has notes of bittery oranges, some pine and resins. Flavor has a decent bitterness, very fruity, grapefruit and orange peel dominating. Good bitterness in the final with a creamy mouthfeel. Easy drinkable.
3.5 botella. @Cimmeria, Oviedo ................................................. 23/01/2014
2.2 I like a citrus or floral leaning IPA. This is neither. It has a bit of a sour finish. Slightly bitter. It's not a bad beer. Just not good for me.
3.6 On tap at Olympen. Hazy amber, small head. Pine and citrus nose. In the mouth also soothing caramel as well as bitter pine. Nice and bitter finish.
3.5 [6586-20140814] Tap. Sweaty pine resin aroma. Clear, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter pine needles and plastic pine plank flavour. Medium body. Rough and piney but interesting. (7/3/7/3/15) 3.5 (@ Blue Monk, Buffalo, NY)
3.9 Dank hop aroma, caramel, pine and alcohol. Golden brown color with thick white head. Nice hoppy danky taste. Perfectly balanced. Solid IPA.
3.3 Very intense body with oily sweet taste. Slight hop aromas with very little bitterness in the finish.
3.4 Dark orange color with creamy dense white head. Very bready malts, caramel and resinous hops. Taste is very sweet with a heavy warming bitterness towards the end. Interesting, very bready, although this was on tap and pretty fresh.
3.4 bottle @ friends. Appearance: pours cloudy golden with medium, white head with good lacing. aroma/taste: grain/bread, caramel. citrus and pine. palette: medium carbonation, medium to full body, some caramel sweetness, distinct bitterness, long duration and an oily texture. Overall: Good ipa
