4.2 Growler from Brewery. Xmas 208 gathering. Pours cloudy yellow, lots of head and lacing. Notes is bright citrus, some lemon, grapefruit, pineapple. Taste big bitter, light sweeet. Full sticky body lively carbonation.
3.9 11.10.2014, tap @ Mikkeller Bar: Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is mild fresh grassy, moss, leafs, fresh hops, citrus peel, pine needles, dried fruits, lawn. Taste is slightly fresh grassy, lawn, bark, minerals, pine needles, hops, hay, leafs, soil, soap, moss. Longlasting bitterness, dry grassy mouthfeel. Nice.
4.5 Can. Full-on hazy peach color with frothy off-white head with very good retention. Aroma has overripe tropical fruits, juicy hops but also some more classic herbal notes. Taste has a biscuity malt base, even slightly nutty with the hops leaning towards the herbal and grassy side. Aftertaste lingers with grapefruit rind bitterness. Medium body with medium minus carbonation. Extremely drinkable DIPA with no hint of the 8% ABV. It's not a juicebomb like other hazy IPAs these days but it's very hoppy and well put together.
4.1 Can. Awesome juicy Galaxy nose, pineapple, orange juice, weed. Cloudy ass looks like pineapple juice. Resiny, tropical fruit, herbal flavor is just out there. They really milk everything out of this hop. Fascinating.
4.4 Hazy yellow pour from the can. Bright aroma, with the traditional HF depth. Pineapple, light honey, melon, and a touch of minerality that comes through just a little on the palate as well. The pineapple especially with the ever so slight honey sweetness really makes this stand out. 4.4+
4.2 Can Cozy petroleum, melon, kiwi rootbeer aroma. Milky yellow, white lacing cream. Chewy dry, creamy foamy, minimally mealy mouthfeel. Broad hoopy hoppy flavouring, tropicals, kiwi, melons, ground up toucans, grapes, light spicy. Dry, lightly astringent, green stickiness just lurking. Very grassy aftertaste. Dry, almost moreish.
4.5 Can, canned on 5/14, consumed on 6/7, many thanks Brennan! Hazy pale golden color with white head. Aroma is super intense grapes, tropical fruits, a tiny touch mealy. Taste is grapes, tropical fruits, milky, kiwi, biscuity body, a tiny bit refreshing hop bite. Juicy and a bit chewy mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Wow, this totally blows Trillium out of the water!
Fort buvable.
3.9 Pours a slightly murky, light pineapple-yellow, with minimal head. Aroma of tropical fruit, melon, citrus. Flavor is tropical fruit, mango, cantaloupe, fairly sweet, building to a finish with fairly bitter, pine/spruce hops. Really good beer.
3.9 Can. Color hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Aroma peach, hoppy, fruits. Taste sweet, peach, mango, fruits, hoppy, light bitterness.
3.9 Can dated 2/12/18. Looks like a nice hefeweizen lasting head and lace. Dank pineapple mango tangerine earthy with some raw dough. Light pineapple grass raw dough sweetness with medium grapefruit earthy bitterness in weird finish with a touch of soy sauce. Medium very bready body very lively fine carbo with a bit of a bite. Not my favorite HF for sure, but still very good.
3.8 Growler pour. Pours a very hazy light amber. Super sweet on the nose. Intense. Light bodied, medium to heavy sweety juicy flavor. Good.
4.2 Thanks Virby44 for sharing the can! Poured into a pilsner glass showing very hazy light yellow showing sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of juicy papaya. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Strong forward flavours of papaya and juicy papaya until the finish.
4.0 Very hazy peach colored pour. Aroma just explodes with pineapple and mango. Medium body. Taste is very juicy. Tons and tons of pineapple juice notes. This really pops with flavor. Finish is slightly dry with a hint of bitterness. A little lace present.
4.2 *1/16/2013 750ml growler poured into a Jester King snifter A~ glowing amber color, cloudy but still beautiful. nice head as well. S~ overpowering citrus all around! lemons, grapefruits, mangos, etc... just the smell i want from a DIPA. T~ following the nose with very nice bitterness from the hops. pine and earthy notes too! M~ very nice and smooth, some what thick and creamy but not over powering. this is a double i could drink all day long and definitely fall over =] O~ could be one of my favorite double IPA’s but at this point i’ve said that so many times its really hard to pick... would definitely drink again, but IMO it would be easier to seek out some heady or something similar and still have just about the same experience, maybe even better?

4.1 From notes. Enjoyed at Corbet’s house warming on April 23. 750 mL swing-top growler. The pour is a foggy golden yellow color with a thicker white head and a good lace as it falls down. The aroma is full of co much citrus, it’s spectacular. There is a strong juiciness, a heavy bitterness, light tropical fruits, and just a hint of some light leafy hops. It’s a great balance that I like. The flavor is even better. The juicy citrus and tropical fruits are huge. There is a light bitterness to it and a hint of pine resin, but the hops and light leafiness are really good. This thing is just balanced from front to back, and I like it almost as much as the Double Citra. The mouth feel is light and clean with a bright carbonation and a lingeringly juicy pine bitterness. This is fantastic.
4.3 @Ulfborg Scooper. Growler. Cloudy light orange, small white froth. Juicy citrus aroma, pine, pineapple, light notes of fennel. Similar flavour, so juicy with perfectly balancing bitterness. Just perfectly drinkable.
4.2 Growler. Unclear dark yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, earthy and fruit peel. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, fruit peel, earthy, little peach, medium sweet and medium bitter.
4.2 Growler @ fonefan tasting. Unclear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and rather hoppy - grapefruit and mango. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 030317
4.2 Growler @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich hops, fruits, flowers, notes of licorice and has a nice hoppy fruity finish. Lovely.
4.5 Hazy yellow. Citrus nose. Big. Taste is citrus, crisp, juicy, soft, awesome
4.7 Draft pour at Armsby Abbey. Pours a hazy light, golden color with the typical long lasting HF head. Smell and taste is galaxy hop perfection and the ABV is practically hidden. Palate is soft and silky. Overall this is an outstanding perfectly balanced IIPA.
4.4 Draught. Pours a cloudy, opaque, pale orangey gold with a large, foamy white head. Aroma is grapefruit, mango, papaya, floral hops, and the faintest hint of pine. Taste is grapefruit, dough, mango, some lemon, and traces of pineapple. A lightly resiny finish. Lightly tart, balanced out by a little sweetness. Moderate bitterness. The epitome of juicy. Medium-full body. Soft carbonation. Creamy, pillowy mouthfeel.
4.3 22oz growler fill. Pours a beautiful golden orange, completely hazy with a full frothy white head leaving substantial lacing. Smells of sweet hops, smooth bitterness, pineapple, citrus, mango and small pine. Tastes super sweet, citrus and pineapple with a tinge of mango at the end. Nice hoppiness and malts delivering the right amount of bitterness with a touch of pine. The galaxy hops are very evident and work beautifully together in another perfect Hill Farmstead DIPA. Wonderful. I wish these were canned.
4.0 Small growler picked up by Joey. Poured New England style. Aroma/flavor of juicy fruits, oranges, yellow grapefruit, mango, papaya and peach along with medium toast, grains and sweet amber malts. Medium body with stronger carbonation and a lingering aftertaste. Really nice.
4.4 Fresh 750ml growler, consumed the same day, cloudy yellow gold hue, with a frothy white head, very nice floral tropical fruit, citrus, leafy hoppy nose, with some green grapefruit, lemon, grapefruit rind, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, lychee accents, and a light fruity yeast, fruit salad note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a good juicy flowery tropical, citrus, leafy, grassy hoppy character, with some citrus peel, lemon pie, pineapple, mango fruity, yeasty, fruity flavours, leading towards a zesty lemon, grapefruit peel fruitiness, a lingering citrus, leafy, tropical hop bitterness finish.
4.0 Bottle share on 7/30/16, thanks to Jeremy. Hazy straw colored pour, small wispy head. Fruity aroma, tropical, melon, mango, citrus. More big fruit flavors in the taste, but still allowing some maltiness to make itself known. Very refreshing on a hot day, almost too fruity for an IPA, but delicious.
4.2 Growler pour hazy gold topped with a small head. Nose is amazing tropical fruit hops a melon sweetness. Taste is more of the heavy tropical fruit hops a great sweet hop melon malts.
