4.2Bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium sized white head. Rustic nose of baking yeast, hay, dust, grapes, flowers - dandelions if you know it. Flavour follows; light barnyard/hay loft, grapes, dust, honey, hay. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, filling sweetness, light/medium sour. Wonderful balance, really soft and flavourful.
3.8Lightly hazy yellow with a small pale head. Aroma is windflowers, green olives, saison spice, mild funk. Medium-light bodied, slightly thin mouthfeel, soft on the palate with a long lightly floral finish. Taste is windflowers, mild green olives, clover honey, saison spice.
4.1Bottle at home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of Brett, yeast, sweet syrup, wood, flowery. Taste is hops, sweet. Flowery, bretty. Dry finish. Very clean and crisp, well balance.
4.1Sample at the Northeastern Brewery (VT) Tasting on 08/16/2015. Hazy bright yellow color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemons, floral honey and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, zesty citrus and malt. The finish is fruity with an underlying sweet honey aftertaste. Good beer overall.
3.7Bottle shared with Seb and Alex A: herbacy, citrusy, dandelions app: hazy pale small white head t/p: thin body with moderate long acidic finish. O: nice stuff the dandelion really come true I gave a nice herbinace feel to the brew.
4.0750ml bottle from the brewery shared with Jo and Seb. Aroma: apples, white grapes, barnyard, floral. App: hazy straw with minimal white head. Taste and palate: medium body, vineous, woody, soft carbonation, dry long sour finish. Overall: really refreshing and easy to drink. Could be more carbonated but overall I sure enjoyed it.
1.7Bottle. Pours murky yellow with nearly zero head. Smells like sweet lemon cleaning supplies. It's tart and not my style. Like a raspy wine.
4.1Bottle. Pours a pale orange color with a fine white head that leaves behind messy lacing. Smells of HF yeast, musty, lemon, some floral qualities. Taste is similar: floral, honey, citrus, HF yeast. Low to moderately sweet, balanced by a low to moderate tartness. Medium bodied and soft, lightly tart finish.
3.7Bottle from a trade. Many thanks! Hazy amber colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet and sour. Notes of citrus, honey and dandelions. Easy drinkable. Bit tart and citrussy. Good.
4.0Hazy golden pour with a frothy white head. The nose is to die for if you like a good saison in your life; lemon/lime zest, flowers, peppery yeast, light leather, hay and just an array of tart nuances. Perfect. The mouthfeel though is too lively and the beer is a tad too foamy once in the mouth. The taste has soft lemon and saison spices, some vinous green notes and some lactic sourness. Sour citrus peel in the aftertaste. Great saison even if the mouthfeel wasn’t spot on imho.. Mange tak Morten & Svend
3.9Bottle @ ØlKonsortiet summer shananigans. Hazy yella with a big, bubbly white head. Aroma is full of spicy, phenolic yeast notes along with a nice and citrusy wild character. Notes of sour apples, cider, grape fruit and freshly ground pepper. Taste has a love balanced sourness, very complex yeast profiue with hints of lemon and grape zest. Lovely
4.3Bottle share. Cloudy yellow, with a huge white head. Fresh, spicy, slightly sour/wild aroma. Low body, low bitterness, very spicy. Very drinkable - WOW!
3.6Slightly funky slightly tart, nice bitter and piney finish. Tasty but a bit bland.
3.8Bottle, thnx to kermis. Pours a hazy golden beer with a big white head. Massive aroma of barnyard funk, horse mineur, fecal matter, in a good way of course. Flavour is light tart, grainy, citric, fruity. Good carbonation going on with a nice aftertaste of citrus.
3.7Bottle shared. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma has nice HF funk upfront, with honey, citrus, floral notes, vinous aspects and light tart fruits. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate acidic. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
3.9At WTWBA. Hazy golden orange pour soapy head. Nose is greens and citrus. Tastes of apricots, grassy, lemon and the dandelions at bitter green note. Didn’t notice any honey. Medium bodied.
4.0750 ml bottle with a bottling date of 7 /2014. Aroma is mild crushed dandelion, yeast and very mild citrus hints.
I have never had dandelion tea before and this is a very interesting and innovative brew. Flavor shows a good lasting honey through the sip with a light tone of floral hints and very mild tartness. The tartness is subdued by the honey. Sweet for sure but not overly so, real nice balance between the ingredients. The mouthfeel is lighter with a drying texture over the tongue. I love how balanced the flavor is, never thought I would drink a beer made with dandelions in it. Very nice with a high level of drinkability.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate florals, light honey, faint lemon peel, and a touch of herbal notes. It pours a hazy dull golden-orange with a small white heat that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin soapy ring. The flavor starts with with a quick dose of citrus. There is some light florals in the background. The finish has light-moderate lemon and lemon peel. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation.
3.9Bottle: Thanks, Alex. Super murky, cloudy bright golden body with a sudsy, foamy white head that hangs around for a few moments before receding to a small collar. Aroma loaded with that familiar Hill terroir; loads of floral notes, musty cotton, mild barnyard funkiness, stone fruit, a touch of wood, faint lemon, plenty of grassiness. Very soft flavor. A nice wet cotton blanket funk explosion with a solid backing of minerals, modest stone fruit skins, wet hay, a touch of lemon, faint cobweb & barn stall funk, & a nice finish of grass & straw. Crispy mouth feel; light, yet full. Lovely saison.
4.1Tasted on 1/7/12 from a capped 750mL bottle. Pours a hazy yellow/orange with a thick, rocky white head that slowly recedes to fluffy lace, leaving thick residue along the inside of the glass. The nose is floral and herbal, pollen dandelion, honey, spicy yeast and pale malt. The flavor is pale malt, bitter dandelion, lemon peel, a lightly honeyed note, and spicy/dusty yeast. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long pale malt, spicy yeast, and lightly bitter floral finish.
4.4Bottle poured in a snifter. Made with spelt from Vermont, American hops, wildflower honey, dandelion flowers. Hazy apricot hue with one inch of dense, cottony head. Nose is a blend of lemon peel, light funky hay, dandelion, wet grass, floral. Can’t stop smelling it. Complex as potpourri, but subtle. A bit of sweet pear, a splash of vinegar, a touch of apple juice and some lemonade tartness in the flavor. Floral notes settle into the sides of the tongue, with a zesty lemon-lime character up front. Slightly dry, very quenching. The light body is silk on the tongue. Zesty carbonation; champagne-like. Not peppery; more lemony and tart. Very refreshing, complex but not combative.
3.8Yellow color with a good sized white head and lacing foam. Earthy, brett aroma. Dry flavor with more yeast, as well as flowers and leaves. I got the dandelion but not the honey. Dry, lightly spiced finish.
3.8Sample at semi-S&G tasting (since the music was shut down halfway through).
APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small stable white head.
NOSE: lemon, fresh, zeste.
TASTE: lemon, fresh, little hoppy, grains, very balanced.
3.9Bottle 07/2014. Pour has a wheat golden color with a thin coating of white head. Aroma has mild tartness, yeasty goodness, a bit of fruit, and green dandelion. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation good. Flavor has more of a sour side than expected, light acidity, green dandelion, mild hop bitterness, and a clean lasting finish. This was real nice and I quite enjoyed it.
3.8Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Alexey. Pours yellow hazy with a huge head, aroma of flowers, funk, brett, green leaves, bitterness, flavor is slightly sour and green, brett, funk, medium bodied, great.
4.5750ml bottle (2013 vintage) pours hazy pale straw yellow with big 3 finger head. Nose is musty lemon, earthy field straw and light grain, touch of herbal spice. Taste is similar with bright vibrant soft rustic doughy grain, subtle tart lemon spice, touches of herbs, straw, bright prickly carbonation. Finish is dry citrus and lemon peel with balanced rustic malt and hay. Spectacular.
4.2Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Milf lemon zest and honey aromas. Dandelion, honey, lemon zest highlights. Good body and mouthfeel.
3.8750 ml bottle that I got at the brewery on August 21, 2014. Hazy yellow, small head. Sour herbs and I guess dandelions aroma, this is not familiar to me. The taste is a bit the same, some fruitiness but sense of honey, very sour aftertaste. It’s good but so weird!
