3.4 Bottle from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy, creamy tan head and has an amber coppery appearance. Slightly excessive carbonation. Decent sticky lacing. Aromas of toasty malt, pine, earthy and grassy. Hints of caramel. Flavours are mostly malty, sweet, a little bit woodsy, pine, caramel malt, dried fruit, spices. Some mild hop bitterness on the palate. Medium bodied. Drying mouthfeel. Has kind of a rusty like finish as well. Not too bad overall.
3.3 hazy amber with a small white head. hoppy piney aroma, smells like a basic IPA. tastes like a piney/fruity IPA. caramelly, pineapple, many fruits, bitter and sweet and very faultless fermentation. i wonder what the yeast is, it does taste familiar to homebrew. body is good and heavy. that's nice, i got all hyped for "japanese classic ale", well... it's an IPA.
3.7 Botella @Umami, Oviedo 31/01/19. Color ambarino corona de espuma blanca, aromas a aromas maltosos notas herbales, sabor maltosa con notas caramelo cuerpo medio. Agradable.
Tres belle rondeur. Une bonne bière

3.4 It pours amber; the head is bone colored and foamy. The aroma has notes of: caramel, crackers, spruce, orange zest, and alcohol. The taste is medium sweet that finishes lightly bitter and crisp. The palate is medium-bodied, with medium carbonation; the Finish is medium. Overall, it's a unique beer given the cask, and quite pleasant as a result.
3.5 12oz bottle pours out amber topped with a small head. Nose is grassy citrus hops wood grain malts. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts wood and a pine citrus combo.
2.8 Jolie mousse.
3.5 26/9/2018. Bottle from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours hazy orange amber with an off-white head. Aroma of flowers, citrus, caramel, hops, malt, biscuit and pine. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Syrupy finish. One of the best I've had from this brewer.
3.6 Bottle as gift. Pours thick-looking brown-gold with a thin beige head. Nose follows the appearance with a sweet malty, syrup and butter pancake. Full bodied and smooth across the palate with a gentle carbonation. Taste is sweet malts up front with a floral leaf bitterness wrapped in a mild alcohol warmth. A real smooth and malty export ale which is nicely balanced for the strength and makes very pleasant drinking.
Color miel, espuma blanca media, poco persistente. Aromas a maltas tostadas, caramelo, cereal. Sabor ligeramente dulce, notas a caramelo, especias (vainilla?
3.9 330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 7/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, mango, cedar, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity citrus/earthy hops, cedar, bready malts, and fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, mango, cedar, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, mango, cedar, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, cedar, bready malts, and fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and lightly tannic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a delicious English IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, cedar, bready malts, and fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Balanced citrus/earthy hops, English malts/yeast, and nice cedar presence that isn't overwhelming. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
3.1 330 ml bottle at Bonito, Göteborg. Clear amber with white head. Light malt, fruit, citrus and grass. Semi sweet with medium bitterness and medium carbonation.
3.4 Nothing special. Just a lager beer with a nice name. Enjoyable and well brewed but regular in other sorts.
3.5 Have to say it surprised me a little bit. Very nice dark amber color, pleasant scent of hops and just a bit of fruit. With the first sip it also leaves honey in nose and tongue. Oh, it also has a bitter aftertaste, just a bit. Overall very nice.
3.6 330 ml bottle,bb 09/2018. Amber,clear,microscopic floaters. Nose - caramel,earth,conifer,some exotic fruit. Taste - bittersweet,on sweet side though,mellow.
3.9 Bottle 33 cl / Hyperboissons - Doubs (F). Muddy dark amber with numerous floats and short cream and fleeting head. Aromas of malt, red berries, floral and citrusy hop, wood and caramel-toffee. The taste is bittersweet, spiced by wood of cedar. It has tones of bitter orange marmalade, spices, bread, tea and hazelnut. Pretty bitter of citrus and earth coated by fruity of apple and Sherry Amontillado. Superb.
3.3 Bottle from Best One, Bedford. Ruddy brown, hazy with very little head. Light grainy aroma with bready, caramel and papaya. The taste is... lovely, but really odd. Sweet at first with lychee and toffee flavours, giving way to a wave of intense bitterness for the finish. Lingering astringency in the aftertaste with shadows of umami grain. Highly carbonated. It's interesting. I disliked it at first, then grew to enjoy it. Worth trying but may not appeal to everyone.
3.8 Pours gold/Amber with fast disappearing head. Aroma somehow smells Japanese. Flavour is malty but bitter. Soft mouth feel. Long hoppy bitter finish.
3.7 15/IX/17 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: V/2017 (oops) (2017-1496) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle! Clear amber to red orange beer, bit irregular creamy solid yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, sweet, raisins, lots of caramel, ripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, yeasty, raisins, hoppy touch, some caramel, soft roast. Aftertaste: grains, pretty hoppy and bitter, some dried fruits, sugary touch. Decent, not super...
3.4 330ml bottle from RusBeerShop. Pours hazy orange-brown with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is wood, pine, caramel, orange. Taste is wood, caramel, oranges, moderate bitterness, dry finish. Interesting.
3.4 Pours a sort of light amber colour, nice lacing, thin white head. The aroma is boozy with some red fruits, yeast, spices and a slight stale cardboard smell. Taste is very similar to a barley wine with some boozy brandy like apricot, raisin and plum flavours, hoppy bitter finish. Nice beer, but is it an IPA?
2.9 33cl bottle from wishbeer bangkok. pours amber with little head. fruity malty aroma with mold citrus and malty taste.
