2.1Bottle,thanks to Dean, amber brown pourt with off white foam, aroma is dry
cardboard caramel, flavor has better caramel taste but not much hops for this
2.2The head hangs out to the end but quickly retreats into a thin sheet. Grass, citrus rind notes over the mild wheat. Somewhat bitter, minimal sweetness. Expected this to be a little better.
2.4ok, first off...I don’t get the name change. Sun Dog fits much better. Hop HOund makes it sound like there’s at least a little hoppiness to it. That being said, it was $10 for a case, so I didn’t give it much thought. It’s a good lawnmower beer. Pours hazy orange amber with a yellow marble effect from the yeast not evenly dispersing. Big, fluffy off-white head. nose of citrus, papaya, a little soap, and malt. flavor tastes a little like unripe watermelon, with some wheat, malt, and caramel. aftertaste is watermelon-y again, turning a bit odd as it sits. It is what it is.
2.1Draft. Poured a hazy orangey amber with a medium white head. Not much aroma -- just a bit of sweetness and a hint of hops. Not a whole lot of flavor either: starts harshly grainy, finishes a little doughy. Medium mouthfeel. Didn’t know this was a AB product when I ordered it; will NOT be ordering it again.
3.2Pretty decent amber. I had this right after I had the Michelob Ginger Wheat Ale so a nice glass of pond water would have tasted good after that. Seriously this one is not a bad beer. :)
2.5I’m rather disappointed with Micholob for this one. Crazy burnt orange look with a non-descript smell. Tasted like a very bland, more bitter version of a Blue Moon. No reward in the aftertaste.
2.6Poured a clear amber with a moderate frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Light sweet citrus aroma. Session beer that was better than I expected.
2.6Pours an amber orange with sweet fruity aroma. A slight spice smell as well. Taste of mild caramel, very smooth and refreshing. Not a very complex beer, more of simple flavors and aroma. Beer is an easy drinker and a decent beer to enjoy.
3.1I think this beer is very solid is a nice overall decent taste of caramel sweet wheat flavors and a touch of hops. not too bitter but the malts make up for it. slightly honey esque and soft on the tongue,
2.4There isn’t much in the aroma with this one, very mild...there is a bit of a hoppy aroma coming through, so it’s not entirely void of substance, just close to it. Tastes rather smooth and bland. A small touch of hops, perhaps even a bit dough coming through on the palate. Finish is rather short. Overall, it’s not terrible, but it’s not something I’m hoping to have again.
2.4interesante linea de cervezas de trigo michelob. todas han estado buenas aunque con el toque comercial, buenas

Mild hop easy fruit end. Bland-Old. Unfair rating as Brew has Aged Poorly. Sampled 12/25/2010. 6-Pack purchased for $7.49 @ Safeway, Astoria, Oregon April 2009.
3.4Strawberry aroma with hints of malt. Cloudy orange, thin head. Lightly sweet malt at first, generic tartness at midpalate. Perfumey fruit finish, cherries are discernible. Slightly tinny, but tolerable. Light on the wheat characteristics, but not a bad amber ale.
2.7Pours amber with white head, aroma is a bit of citrus and some wheat fruitiness. Taste is some citrus leading into a caramel sweet and a finishing fruit that is sweet at the end. Just okay.
2.712 oz bottle into shaker. Aroma is caramel malt; kind of cloyingly sweet. Pours cloudy orange with spotty lacing and a medium head that disappears fairly quick. I taste cinnamon, faint banana. Sweet with hardly any bitterness. Thin body, medium carbonation. Fairly boring wheat ale.
1.9Slightly hoppy wheat beer, definitly a session... but nothing real special.
2.9From the bottle. Amber-golden color. Citrus aroma with hint of sweetness. Smooth and light, tasted slightly fruity with honey and wheat. Very little hop character though, they should probably change the name back to Sun Dog. Decent but not as advertised.
2.8Cloudy amber color with slight fruitiness on the nose. Where are teh hops???? With a name like hop hound I expected some bold hoppiness. Not a bad beer but not what i was expecting either.
2.3Cloudy amber orange, frothy beige head. Orange and wheat aroma. Plain taste with some citrus and bread.
2.2(bottle) cloudy amber, faint wheat aroma. Flavor is light wheat beer with caramel, hints of citrus hops.
2.5Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy copper with small off-white head. Taste is bready roasted malt and light hops, and a hint of caramel. Nice lacing, but a little light on the carbonation. Pretty good overall, but nothing great.
2.6First rate of 2010. 12oz bottle. Pours a clear glowing orange copper with a larger foamy off-white frothy head. Aroma of caramel and toasted wheat, ample but subdued hop fruitiness accompanied by lots of sweetness making it smell like fruit snacks. Flavor of caramel, some richness accented by the alcohol, touch of hops, quite fruity, simple, actually better now that is has some age on it, go figure. Medium/light bodied, not sticky, slightly viscous, softer sizzling carbonation, a bit corse. Eh... I think I gave it a slightly better rating just because I’m very thirsty from all the New Years partying.
2.7Bottle. Peach/banana and dough aroma. Light amber color with small head. Over-ripe banana and caramel malt flavor. Decent beer for AB.
2.3bottle. pretty generic amber wheat beer - what you come to expect from Anheuser-Busch. very average beer - drinkable, but nothing to wow the senses
2.2Ok beer.Pours a orange to amber color med white head.Aroma alittle sweet ,caramely and grainy.Balanced but to light and thin on the palate.
2.0Pours a cloudy amber with a creamy beige head. Nose is of caramel and bakery. Smells yummy! Has a thick, syrupy consistency on the palate. Feels like melted caramel in the mouth. Very little malt or hops. Not much flavor at all. This shit looks, smells, and even feels wonderful. But it has almost no taste. WTF? WTF indeed!
2.9Bottle poured a cloudy amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of wheat, carmel and light citrus. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, carmel, light orange and a hint of earthiness with a smooth bready finish.
2.3Poured a pale amber, with a surprisingly big, creamy head. Cloudy in appearance: more like upper atmospheric clouds than fog. Very little to speak of taste wise. Bready, malt taste. Hops don’t really deliver, as the name seems to promise.
2.7Light amber color with a slight haze and medium white head. The aroma has a decent, juicy ripe fruitiness with a light hint of spicy, grassy hops. (This beer has the best hop presence of anything I’ve had from Anheuser-Busch; nothing spectacular, but a step in the right direction.) It’s not too shabby on flavor- toasty, with caramel malt that forms a nice balance with the light sprucey hop bitterness. Actually quite well-rounded. The body is light to medium and not nearly as thin as AB’s other wheat beers. A reasonable brew with good drinkability.
1.9Another boring wheat beer.
Pours hazy gold so orange-ish with a semi-thin head. Aroma is all wheat and some junk grains(yeah and unfiltered beer with corn/rice...) Flavor bland some malts and a bitter hop. Metallic finish like most of these Michelob beers.
