Hopf Helle Weiße (Das Original)

Hopf Helle Weiße (Das Original)

Typical in its wheat beer aroma, this classic wheat beer has a slightly fruity taste, is golden yellow in colour and a light yeast haze, topped by a fine head. Its unique character is thanks to Hopf’s own pure yeast culture.

3.6 Last bottle from Erzengel - Cheers! 🍻 Brilliant white tight head stayed on a cloudy pale golden body. Zesty aroma with yeast & lemon. Medium bodied, fluffy over the tongue with light sharp back. Sweet citrus, yeast, clove & banana tastes with a long tangy finish. Loving this.
3.0 0,5 l Flasche. Helles, trübes Bernstein, weißer Schaum. Riecht und schmeckt fruchtig, leicht säuerlich.
3.5 Bottle picked up from Bernard Nieder Getränkemarkt, Attenkirchen and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Monday 6th January 2020 whilst listening to one of our **Albums of 2019 Pumarosa - Devastation**. Pours yellowy gold with a white frothy head. Nice aroma, a touch yeasty and fruity, similar characteristics come through in the mouth, with obvious but not pushy wheat characteristics. Good.

3.0 THT oktober. Hazy pale golden with white head. Sweet malts, banana, soft herbs. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.7 Pour is cloudy and light yellow. Medium aroma of banana and clove. Light flavor at first with a strong Bavarian Wheat finish.
3.8 Bottle from Rauchbierlover. Cloudy yellow appearance. Aroma is sweet, banana, wheat, grassy and lemon. Flavour is orange, lemon, zesty, wheat, grassy, sweet and clove.
3.6 Fles 50cl thuis. Zoet, kruidnagel, kleine fizz, banaan, zacht, romig, licht zurig, licht malttonen, lichte citrustonen. (27-7-2019).
3.4 50cl bottle thanks to @rauchbierlover and European Swap 2/2019. Pours hazy pale orange with clean white head. Aroma has hay, hint of citrus and yeast. Taste is light with tickling carbonation followed up with lingering sweet bananaflavor. Nice!
3.7 Very drinkable weizen, with a candy sweetness not usually found in these beers overpowering the banana and clove flavours but not enough to detract from those. Very enjoyable for me but I have a high tolerance for sweetness
3.2 Keg in Monk in Buxton. Pours hazy blond with a white head. The taste is hay and lemon with wheat and light spice
3.0 50 cl. bottle. A hazy yellow coloured beer with a white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, spice, coriander, banana and with a sweet finish.
3.6 Appearance: Yellow golden, clear, fizzy. Small, off-white head. Hazy later. Aroma: Wheat, some yeast, some banana. Taste: Wheat, light fruits, banana. Light sweetness. Smooth. Bought: Wittich, 500 ml, CHF 2.20 Info: 8/3-2019, 240/300, BB: 22/6-2019
3.3 500ml bottle. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is wheaty clove, bubblegum. Taste is sweet and wheaty to start. Clove and bubblegum on the finish.
3.6 On tap in The George & Dragon, Acton on 29th Jan 2019. Pint in the correct glass. Looked a picture, huge white crown on a cloudy yellow body, carbonation bubbles rising through to replenish the head from start to finish. Banana and Cloves to the fore in both the aroma and taste. A very pleasant Hefenweisse with all the typical attributes you'd expect.
3.5 I felt the hops really brough a nice bitter pine aroma. Pleasant beer
3.6 Golden clear beer with a cloudiness thatbpours at the end. Weak whute head. Smell is citrus white pepper with clove and coriander, some basil, hint of strawberries, banana, vanilla. Taste is full warm and with a gentle fizz. Elegant bitterness with subtle sweetness. Finish is minerals and clay.
3.4 Bottle @ home. A bit hazy yellow color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, sweetish, slightly banana-ish. Pretty straightforward weizen imo but it's quite ok.
3.7 Bottle from Bitter Virtue. Pleasant drinkable Weisse mit Hefe. Banana and fruity flavour
3.4 Draft. Solid orangey pour. Light banana, some citrus, yeast/bread. Very drinkable. Could maybe use stronger flavours overall, but certainly a solid example of the style.
3.0 Tap at George & Dragon, Acton. Aroma is yeast, citrus and spices. Pours a hazy yellow-golden body with a small white head. Taste is sweet with yeast, citrus and spices. Highly carbonated compared to a standard weiss. OK overall.
