3.8 Bottle at World Cup Qualification - Denmark vs Poland. Dark brown body with a small offwhite head. Coffee beans, milk chocolate, light roast. Good.
3.7 DØE medlemsmøde. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and fresh ground coffee beans. Dryish roasted flavour with chocolate and coffee. A little thin compared to stronger family members, but it’s got all the right Hoppin Frog goodness.
3.7 Deep dark brown under a thin light beige head. Nice dark roasty nose with a little espresso and light cocoa. Smooth dark and cocoa’d flavor with a little roast and some coffee nuances. Not super dark or strong but has a nice smoothness about it.
3.9 650ml bottle. Dark brown/black with a medium tan head. Coffee, milk chocolate, vanilla and dark fruits. Good.
4.1 Kaffee, schwarze Johannisbeere & ein Hauch Schwarzbrot. Mmmm❤. Beim schlürfen+Waldberry & wahrhaft silkybeany. Elegant, schlank & schmerzfrei. Die fettert im Mundraum bauschig auf ;)...Klasse!!! Bomber Attack from BOXBEERS.COM.
3.9 Pours dark with low light brown head Aromas of roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate, hazelnuts, nougat, some dark fruits, caramel Taste has notes of coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruits, caramel, brown sugar
3.4 Bottle (from boxbeers). Pours dark brown with light brownish head. Aroma is sweet, beany, coffee, roast. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, beany-moldy coffee, roast, malt. Overall: ok, but not sure why they decided to ruin their great porter with beany-moldy coffee.
3.7 (Hoppin’ Frog Cafe Silk Porter) Bottle 650ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 6.2% Dark brown to black colour on the body, tall beige head on top with good density and average retention. Aroma of green peppers, coffee grounds, light chocolate, cold coffee. Taste of coffee, light milky chocolate, green peppers. Medium body with good carbonation. Good but I expected a bit more.
4.0 Bottle @ Superbowl XLI. Blackish pour with a frothy tan head. Notes of milky chocolate, fruity coffee, light ash, vanilla and a light bitterness. Delicious!

3.8 Bottle at February THT. Black with light brown head. Lots of coffee, soft sour berries, roasted malts, dark chocolate, light ash, blackberries. Just medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nice!
3.7 Sampled from bottle at THT Februari at "De Zuipschuit". Black with tan head, sweet roasted malts, sweetened coffee. Chocolate. Light sweet and deep dark roast. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice roasty finish.
4.0 Keg at Himmeriget. Pours deep brown bordering on black with a stable, creamy thick light brown head. Aroma is coffee, cocoa and a hint of vanilla. Taste is coffee bitter, molasses sweet, caramel sweet, chocolate, fruity coffee. Silky smooth mouthfeel.
4.0 Aroma: Medium aroma of malts, caramel, vanilla, cookies, chocolate, roasted malts and coffee. Appearance: Opaque black beer with a slight/medium brown head. Taste/Palate: Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, vanilla, cookies and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and coffee. Overall: This beer is intense, complex and balanced. Super smooth and the added coffee adds so much flavour. The sweet start also benefits from this, where the loads of vanilla plus the coffee creates some damn tasty chocolate chip cookies. The aroma could have been stronger and the taste even better with some more beer ingredients.
4.0 Bottle @ first Wednesday tasting at De Molen. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, mocha, licorice and roasted malts. Flavor is quite bitter, roasted and very smooth. Great balance.
3.6 Keg at The Brewdog, Norwich. Black with tan head. Quite a full on bitter beer, drying, darkly roasted malts, quite tarry with a liquorice edge. Nutty later on. Pretty decent.
3.6 Dark brown (~40EBC), fine tan head, good viscousity. Aromas of cacao powder, roasted coffee, light earthy with hints of wet tobacco retronasal. Fine carbonation, smooth-silky, surprisingly slender bodied. Light chocolate sweetness with roast coffee and burnt toffee bitterness, well balanced. lasting bit astringnent-coffee finish.
3.9 Tap@Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen (26/06/2016) - pours black with a small beige head. Roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste with high chocolate prominence, coffee, caramel, sweet smooth subtle vanilla caress into the close.
3.7 Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, coffee, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, coffee, chocolate, caramel. Nice rich tasting porter from Hoppin Frog.
3.9 A black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has richness of coffee, chocolate, some sweetness of lactose. Taste has coffee, some roastiness, balanced sweetness, hint of dark chocolate. Medium bodied, smooth to drink. Balanced coffee, enjoyable.
3.9 Pours black with almost no head. Aroma is ground coffee. Lovely. The taste is great too. Strong coffee.
3.8 Bottle 65cl. @ Zombier, Malaga, Spain. A: Dark brown. T: Roasted malt, coffee, sweet, cocoa.
3.9 From a 22 oz bottle. Pours a deep clear brown with a tan head. Roasty nose. Flavors of coffee and cocoa. Smooth as a baby’s bottom.
3.8 Pours a dark orangish brown color. Aromas of bread, chocolate, and a hint of coffee. Flavor is kind of weak for a porter. Touch of caramel and chocolate in the flavor.
3.8 Negro opaco y espuma beis. Aromas de maltas, café dulce, chocolate. Cuerpo medio y sedoso, con sabor de café dulce, cacao, con amargor quemado final equilibrado.
3.5 The aroma is full of chocolate, coffee, hazelnuts, citrus, roast and smoke. The color is pitch black. The taste is full of coffee, chocolate, roasted nuts and citrus. A nice beer!
