3.6 Bottle. Pours clear orange with a nice off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and caramel. Flavor was sweet, bitter and nicely balanced with caramel, citrus, pine and some tropical fruit notes.
3.8 Bottle from some place I can’t remember. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big grassy citrus hop, light yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big smooth tropical fruit, light toffee, light peppermint palate and a frothy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
3.8 22 oz. To pilsner glass. Very nice. Clear Orange with lasting off white head. Aroma is hops, floral, soil. Taste also has floral quality, but also a sweetness. Touch of honey maybe. A bumblebee’s paradise. A touch flatter than I would like, but it doesn’t kill it. Glad to see one of my favorite stout producers makes some other good beers too.
2.3 65cl bottle, served in tulip glass. Pours clear orange with a nice off-white head. Quite citrusy and grainy on the nose, weird for an IPA. The flavour is sweet caramel with a slight citrusy touch. Maybe some fruits as well, but the fact is that it is too sweet overall. Difficult to notice the bitterness on he palate. Medium body, good carbonation. Not sure if this bottle was in good condition. It is drinkable but far from pleasant.
3.5 Bottle to tulip. Pours a clear orange with a soapy, tinted head. Aroma is heavy on the hops and pine resin. A little sweeter than expected, but still plenty hoppy. Really active carbonation. Pretty good if you like sweeter IPAs.
4.0 22 oz. bomber. Poured golden with a big foamy head. Floral and grassy aroma. Taste is grass and orange rind. Clean and crisp IPA.
3.9 From old notes. From 650ml bottle. Golden orange color with off white head. Hoppy aroma, citrusy fruity, grassy, light pine, caramel malty. Sweet and bitter taste, juicy fruity. Medium oily body with soft carbonation
3.9 Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear orange to amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, a bit grassy. Taste malts, hops, a light hint of caramel, grapefruit, fruity, bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Yup, very nice!
4.0 Bottle @ benzai. Clear orange colour with large white to off-white head. Smells hops, fresh, fruity, hint of malts, nice. Tastes bitter, hops, pine, fresh, hint of lemon or something. Nice beer. Medium body, slightly fizzy carbo.
3.7 Bottle: It poured a clear orange gold color initially that turned hazy in time. There was a small amount of lace on the glass. The aroma was fruit and spice and the taste was hoppy and bitter.
3.7 Botella de @Vivalabirra, Oviedo.21/05/15 Color ámbar, Aroma y sabor frutal, cuerpo medio /alto
3.1 650ml.bottle shared with Quevillon from Westmere breverage in Albany N.Y. The color is a hazy orange with a thin beige head. The aroma is of hops, cereal and vegies. The taste has a bitter to sour feeling ,hops.vegies.and sweet fruits.Good but not my kind of I.P.A.
3.4 copper body, white head. aroma has lots of caramel and yeash. harsh hoppiness. bit dark on the hop side and not my favourite. quite smooth anyway.
1.3 An amber IPA with creamy head. Aroma is citric, hoppy, meaty, cheese. Taste is bitter.
3.9 22 oz. bomber, poured into a Sam Adams pint. Big, foamy head on this one, and it sticks around. The beer is mostly clear but just a little cloudy. Lots of bubbles. Floral, sweet hoppiness on the nose, very piney too. As expected from the head, this is a high carbonation beer, maybe too much up front. This is a sweeter IPA, as compared to spicier, "west coast" -style IPA’s. Nicely balanced, fruity. Very good, but not mind-blowing.
3.8 Aroma of light malt, citrus, pine, some resin, some grapefruit, fresh hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Nice balance and refreshingly drinkable. A formidable IPA.
4.0 Bottle at home. Pours cloudy orange with an impressively steady head. Actually a very mellow IPA both in terms of the smooth peach and exotic aromas as in the body. In the beginning perhaps a bit too much carbo but increasingly enjoyable. Nice.
3.5 Poured from a bottle it is golden color with a frothy white head. It has the aroma of citrus and the taste of citrus and It lingers on the palate
3.7 Hazy orange with off white head. Aroma and taste is tangerine, pine, caramel and bread.
4.5 dark golden colour, huge, long lasting, dense yellowish head; aroma of tangerine, tropical fruity notes, some citruses, pine, and caramel; taste of tropical fruits, tangerine, resiny notes and intensive malty sweetness; quite complex and enjoyable IPA
3.6 From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a hazy copper with a thick off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of orange and tropical fruits. Moderately bitter finish.
Belle corpulence. Great !
3.6 Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours unclear copper with a big, frothy, white head. Aroma has lots of sweet, fruity hoppy notes like citrus, pineapple and pear. A sweet caramel malty side and a subtle, salmiak-like mintyness. Taste has more bitter hops, and reveals a slightly faded hop character. Still some malty sweetness and fruits. Nice, smooth body with a nice, crisp carbonation.
3.9 Butelka 66cl. OCZY : ładne piwo o żywym złocisto-pomarańczowym kolorze i średniej wielkości, biało-śnieżnej pianie. NOS : świeże aromaty owoców tropikalnych i cytrusowych o niuansach podobnych do brzoskwini, ananasa, marakui, pomarańczy, pompelo i delikatnie złotego kiwi. Posmak lekko cierpki i wciąż owocowy.
3.5 Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Clear, amber with a huge dusty white head and good lacing. Aroma of fruity hops, pine and caramel. Taste of citrus, light fruit, pine, caramel and toast. Medium body and medium carbonation.
3.9 65cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is heavy sweet, with some strong notes of honey, hops and citrus. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration also notes of caramel, hoppy citrus. Dry finish
[APK: 4.80]
3.4 Huge white head, caramel-orange color with plenty of sediment and some carbonation. Smell is quite sweet and fruity; orange juice comes to mind. Taste is bubblegum, thick wheat, tropical fruit, some bitterness on the finish.
