4.4 A delicious balanced winter ale checks all the boxes for a brew perfect for long winter nights.
3.7 On tap @ Henrik. Looks warm and nice this. A cloudy deep peach orange, almost a little copper colored one this with a medium sized fading and islandy lacing off-white head. Like the sweet malty caramelly and almost barley wine strong nose. Red berries, concentrated and sticky. Quite pleasant. It tastes pretty good also this. More punch than the abv would suggest. Almost like a blend between a DIPA and a strong amber. It has a nice oily texture in the mouth and it’s about average on the carbonation. Well hopped for sure, but it’s lost more on the toffee caramelly sticky side. Grassy, some bitter marmalade and traces of red apples. Lots of flavor, really warming and quite good. 17.02.2017
3.0 16 oz can. Canned on 13/Oct/2015. From beerrepublic.eu. Clear mahogany color with a small off-white head. Sweetness, raisins and malt in the aroma. The flavor is old hops, some bitterness, dark fruits, raisins and sweet maltiness. If there was some hoppy freshness it’s long gone. They are selling some seriously old beers.
4.0 50cl can at Boothill, Amersfoort. Pale dark orange with a medium slightly off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nice bitterness with subtle fruity tones. Caramel, resin, malts, pine, grass and spices. Very nice hoppy brew.
3.7 Can at boothill. Orange golden pour. Aroma of bitter pine, caramel and malt. Fresh bitter flavor of pine, of grassy citrus, caramel and a nice spicey malty backbone. Like it.
4.0 Bottle: Poured a dark amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and resinous hops notes is very enticing. Taste is a complex mix of citrusy and resinous hops notes with some light sweetness from the malt base. Very limited amount of bitterness with good floral notes. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation. Very nice mix between a solid malt backbone and some fresh hops notes.
3.5 pours an inviting amber brown with thin lacy head. the key aroma and ensuing flavor is stone fruit and prunes. there is a decently sweet bitter finish on the backend. a spicy, warming winter sipper.
3.7 Deep orange with a tall head. Powerful citrus and mild pine hop notes along with strengthening caramel malts. Finish is lightly sweet with plenty of bitterness. Medium bodied. A real nice winter sipper.
4.1 Can. Sweet caramel aroma with some citrus hints. Cloudy copper/bronze in colour with a frothy off-white head and decent lacing. Rich sweet caramel flavour with nicely balancing citrus bitterness. Smooth and creamy - medium to full bodied. Citrus bitterness takes over in the finish. Excellent.

3.6 Can@Stadin Panimobaari, Helsinki. Amber colour, huge off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some sweet malts, nectar and a bit sugary notes. Flavour is fruity, some earthy, sweet malts, tobacco as well as mildly alcohol. Good winter warmer, and was good in the summer time too.
3.6 On tap at Kick. An unclear, almost murky orangey brown beer with an off-white head. Sourish, caramel malty aroma with a nice spiced touch. Cellar hints, pine cones and a touch of alcohol. It’s full bodied, lightly warming and nicely carbonated, rather dry, with caramel, prunes, some cellar, a pleasant spice touch and piney, bitter hops. Lasting sourish, malty aroma with pine cones, bitterness and some warming alcohol. Not a summer beer, that’s for sure, but it’s a fine brew indeed. Pleasant combo of sourness, bitterness and malts. 160716
3.8 Can. It pours hazy deep orange with a creamy off white head. Spicy hops and caramel malts with crackers and some floral notes. Light pine and citrus with sweet caramel malty flavor notes. Lots of malty notes but a high amount of hops makes this very balanced. Great stuff.
4.0 Can shared with Joes. Hazy cloudy dark red-amber color, medium sized white to off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly resinous. Taste malts, hops, resinous hoppy, slightly sweetish, hops and hop bitter. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Lovely!

3.7 Can @ Stadin panimobaari. Poured amber color, thick white head. Thick caramel, dark fruity hops. Some rye notes. Pleasant. Flavor has citrus, sweet dark fruits, caramel, yeast. Nice bitterness in finish. Balanced.
4.1 Damn. This was brewed in December of 2015 and I thought it was a winter warmer style beer. Still kicking ass this is an old school near DIPA, with a think toffee and cookie body balanced with a big citrus and grapefruit hop onslaught and spicey pine finish with some sweet malt. Really good and amazing it still drinks so good at this age.
3.4 Small glass, on tap at Crowbar. Patchy layer to an amber-red body, close to clear. Smell of ripe orange. Red orange flavours and with mid-sweet malts beneath, lightly spiced. Rather long-lived bitterness to the ending. Soft in the mouth. Fine bodied. Refreshing (Oslo 23.05.2016).
3.8 Uit blik (0,5l) geschonken. Oranje-amberkleurig bier. Heerlijk!
3.8 Aroma: Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, tropical fruit, hops and citrus. Appearance: Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with medium yeast and with a medium off-white head. Taste/Palate: Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, orange and tropical fruit; ends slightly bitter with hops and citrus. Overall: This beer achieves a good balance between malts and hops, but could have been more deep and complex. Extremely drinkable and with an amazing flavour.
3.8 Can 47,3cl / Lata 47,3cl. @ LaBIRRAtorium, Madrid, España. A: Hazy amber / Ambar turbio. T/S: Malt, caramel, citrusy, slightly resinous / Malta, caramelo, citrico, ligeramente resinoso.
4.6 473 ml. can. Canned on 13OCT2015. Great art. Lightly hazy orange amber with a creamy off-white head. Nose is milky yeast mixed in with mellow pine hops, orange rind & low toffee sweetness. Taste is mellow pine hops, orange peel, some milky yeast leading into a pleasantly sweetish vanilla, toffee & butterscotch malt finish. Creamy body,… Quite lovely, great mix of USA hops & sweetish malts, works really well. Feels like something that Stone would be proud of. I am really dinging the sweetness in the back, drinks really well. Age might have mellowed it a bit but I think that I might actually prefer this one like this with muted hops. I would definitely repeat buy this sucker if it was local etc. Drinks really well, very nice.
3.7 Caoba limpio y espuma marfil compacta. Aromas de caramelo, ligero cítrico y pino. Cuerpo medio-alto, maltoso, sabor de caramelo, miel, cítrico, naranja, pino y final de amargor resinoso equilibrado.
