Hornbeer Julehumle

Hornbeer Julehumle

3.3 From tap. Pours slight hazy dark amber with a white head. Aroma of resin and pine! Also some light citrus and grassy notes, seems kinda old school. Taste is heavy bubblegum, pine, floral, caramel malts, sweet finish. Seems like some of the old school have been heavily used in this. Too sweet a finish for my taste.
3.2 Sample c4. Pours Amber with a white head. Aroma of light hops, grape, cara malts, light grape. Taste is rather sweet, light hoppy. Quite bitter finish.

3.5 Bottle. Pours hazy darkish amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with notes of malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of needles and malt, amd estery and fruity touches. Bitetr aftertaste. Rich body and creamy mouthfeel. A nice one.
3.5 Bottle, 6%. Good, rough teaish and spicy hop aroma. Cloudy orange amber colour. Small stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is sweetish and spicy from the hops. Has a good and clean medium bitterness. Sort of teaish the finish along with a mild (unwelcome) yeast note. High carbonation.
3.3 KRS 060215. Pale amber-orange colour with a beige head. Aroma is hop, spices, caramel, orange, peaches. Flavour is hop, spices, caramel, orange, peaches, orange, grapefruit. Nice/OK beer.
3.8 Ambar, bastante clara. Espuma media. Aroma a dulce naranja y té.
3.6 (Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 4 Dec 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of toast, citrus, orange peel and a touch of resin. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toast, citrus peel, grapefruit and a generous resiny/citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well made with lots of fresh hops. Nice one.
3.4 Bottle shared at chriso Snow Tasting - London. Pours lightly fuzzy amber with a fine, white cream head. Lots of hoppy pine on the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty malts, light dry caramel, pine, spice. Medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Piney hops in the finish, dry bread and caramel. Fine.
3.8 Fat @ Akkurat.
3.4 Pours a slightly hazy orange body with a speckled white head. Nose has citrus, spruce and resin notes. Taste is quite bitter with a long, dry finish. Carbonation is low and the palate feels quite rich. A nice, well balanced IPA.
3.4 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with off-white small head. Aroma is really fresh hops. Elderflower, resin, pine and spicy. Taste is equally fresh hops, fruits, quite mellow body with spicy hops ins dry butter finish.
3.4 Cold and heartlesas with a tough bitter ending. Offering hops and citrus freshness upfront with a high drinkability. Not bad, really. Maybe a bit too bitter towards the end but fully aromatic. Not bad.

Plusspoeng for utradisjonell juleøl.
2.3 ........................................ Dejlig juleøl.................................
3.8 Bottle. Light Golden pour, clear. Small White head. Fruity Nose, nice and hoppy taste. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice!
3.4 Pours cloudy golden with nice head. Very hoppy aroma. Citrus, grapefruit, pine. Lingering bitterness. Quite good as an IPA, although not a christmas beer at all.
