2.8 Pours very ugly yellow with no real head. Aroma is sour apple and cheap grain. Flavor isn’t terrible, apples and filler
3.5 Pours with small head, but highly carbonated, much like a Smirnoff Ice. However, unlike Smirnoff Ice, the flavor is more subdued, not so sugary. Nice aroma of apples, and tastes just as it smells.
2.7 Not bad for a cider. Not great either. High carbonation with a small head. I wouldnt want to drink this unless it was the ONLY thing besides a macro brewed beer on the menu.
2.6 Not bad, Nice crisp finish, a slight feel of champaign, nice apple flavor....weak head.....but good.
2.4 Is cider considered a beer? Had this a while ago, taste like apple champagne, very bubbly. I wouldn’t consider this a beer. too girly for my taste
3.0 very nice and smooth cider with no funky after taste (to me most cider’s have a somewhat off-putting after taste that I have trouble getting past at times) - crisp, smooth - tastes like carbonated apple cider with alcohol, not much complexity but I am not sure what to expect I guess
2.5 Bottle. Aroma of sweet apples and champagne. Flavor was rather simple for cider compared to some English offerings. Decent I suppose.
3.2 I love this cider because it is very smooth, crisp and ultra refreshing. It may not be the most complex drink out there, but it is just like drinking apple cider, except with a nice 6% alcohol that you barely notice. For this reason, it is definitely an enjoyable summertime drink, straight from the bottle.
2.3 Bottle. Poured golden, little head, apple and champagne notes. Alcohol is present in the flavor, much more so than the apple. As far as ciders go, not that great.
2.4 A decent cider. The flavor however is very weak and does not have the great taste of some english ciders. The aftertaste is harsh and the alcohol is strong and prone for hangovers.
2.7 Bottle from Party Town, Ky. Poured clear straw color with a small white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma of apple juice. Flavor of candy apple. Light body with a thin texture. Refreshing drink.
3.2 Poured a light honey color with a white ring. Aroma is apples and spices. Very apple cider like aroma. Definately smell some of that vintage cider aroma. Flavor is a like crisp apple with some of the body and spice you get in cider. Decent body.
2.5 I had acouple bottles of this last year and I did not think would be on a beer rating site. Nice apple aroma, but the flavor was not as I expected. I thought it would actually taste like cider, but it had other stuff mixed in and did not go down as enjoyable as I had hoped.
2.8 My bottle says ’amber draft’ so I don’t know if ’draft cider’ is the same. Smells like apple juice. Tastes like a whiskey cooler blend. Disappointing, not a real pure cider. It’s some kinda mix. Ingredients on label say: cider, carbonated water, dextrose, fructcose, citric acid, artificial flavors, carmel color, potassium sorbate & sulfuring agents.... This product should not even be listed on ratebeer.com’s website. Pretty crappy for a cider, if it truly is one. At least it don’t have a lingering bitter aftertaste.
2.8 Bottle. Amber, with a white head. Apple armoa, with the tangy flavor of apples. Nothing spectacular, but good none the less.
3.0 Amber in color with bubbly white head. Sour fermented apple aroma. Tangy apple taste with a smooth dry finish.
2.9 12 oz bottle of Draft Amber Cider. Same bottle as in pic. Sour apple aroma. Deep amber color. Flavor was apple all the way through with a nice dry finish.
2.3 bubbly effervesent golden brown color, no head. nose of tart grannysmith apples. slight spice. flavors draw same pungent tart apples with a wee bit of alcohol feel in the background.
2.8 Bottle Pours weak gold with an aroma of apple and pear. Taste is more apple, with a bit of white wine in the background. Palate is bubbly. Very sweet taste. It’s not bad.
3.2 Pours a nice bright golden yellow color. Aromas of nice fresh apples. Flavor starts tart and finishes kinda sweet.
2.3 Pours a golden color with good carbonation. Probably one of the best tasting for the mass market, but still not a good cider in my opinion. Aroma of carbonated apples and some spice. The sweet aftertaste will get to you after 2-3.
3.4 Tastes like sparkling apple cider. It doesn’t even taste like you’re drinking something with alcohol. You can drink it for breakfast!
2.5 Had several sixpacks of this last year before I began drinking quality beer. It was one of my regualr drinks for a summer cooler. Its ok for a cider, not too sweet but I can only drink a couple at a time. At least it has a respectable abv. Available in the grocery stores around here and not too expensive.
2.8 I’ve never seen this stuff on tap. It varies from Woodchuck and Ace in that it is more solidly carbonated, which I don’t prefer. The taste is decent though - caramel apple cider taste, opposed to ciders usually tasting like apple juice. I think the effervesence of this cider offsets how sweet and savory cider is compared to apple juice. Thick carbinated head that goes away after pouring - like a light lager would. Good for a few before having a sugar shock.
2.2 Pour is a clear gold. Aroma in mine was slightly metallic. Flavor is a slightly sweet and tart apple. Not to bitter and not to sour. My first cider, maybe i will re-rate after I have another to compare it to.
2.3 I’ve had this a couple of times now. As I recall, it’s pretty hard and not very sweet. It’s possible to take the sweetness out of fermented apples. I don’t know how they did, but they accomplished that.
2.1 Apple juice. A little carbonated. Apples all around. Poor, sweet aftertaste.
2.6 Not good. Maybe cider isn’t for me, but anyone who thinks this can compete with beer is not right in the head.
3.1 Bottle: Thin/pale golden yellow color with a thick foamy/carbinated head that almost immidiatly disappears into islands of white bubbles. Smells a lot like actual cider. And tastes almost the exact same (less spices/cinimon and more apple juice). Has an after taste of beer which seems to be followed by an after-after taste of sweet candy (I’m stealing this from another post, but after reading it compleatly agreed: its green jolly rancher taste).
2.7 Straw color with a smaller covering of off white bubbles. Actually smells a bit like fresh cider. There is a light backdrop of resin that gives the alcohol away. Very sweet apple flavors burst into the scene and later ushered out by a dry alcohol presence. Light floral flavors as well mingle with the crowd. Seems to much like carbonated apple juice with a splash of vodka.
