3.8 Bottle on 14th November 2020. Pours a light chestnut brown and clear. Aroma is light caramel, hay, straw. Taste is full and deep, it’s grassy, hay, light caramel and burnt sugar, medium bitter, with a grassy, light caramel finish. Good
3.7 Bottle. Clear, hazelnut brown color, fine white head. Caramel, malty aroma. Dry taste, medium bitterness. Caramel malty crispness, floral, herbal, spicy aftertaste. Full body, medium carbonation.
3.6 Bottle online from 'The Trembling Madness'. Pours a very slightly hazy copper/bronze colour with a large thick creamy off-white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass and doughy bread. Taste is similar notes with a hint of floral, biscuit and a bit more grass on the finish. Light to medium body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Average Keller.
3.6 Light copper colored with a frothy white head. Grassy, grainy aroma. Caramel. Faintly floral. Taste is bittersweet with plenty of toffee sweetness preceding a grainy, mildly bitter finish. Clean, crisp feel on a robust body. Above average for the style. Bumped from 3.4 to 3.6 following revised tasting from bottle on 12/2020
3.4 Bottle 0.5l at home, Nivala. Thanks to snowcrash000! Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some sweetness, some bread, some biscuits and malts. Full mellow malty body!
3.2 Golden-amber, small head. Flat-ish, medium body. Caramel, herbs, ok, nothing more.
3.5 Bottle from Hier gibts Bier. It pours crystal clear copper with a decent white head. The aroma is rich malty action, doughy brown bread, rivita, cereal and a touch of sweetness. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, brown bread, cereal, rivita, touch of nuttiness, grass, hint of spice and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Moreish and hearty. Enjoyable.
3.1 Piana średnia, ciemno biała, trwała, leciutko szyła na szkle. Kolor bursztynowy, trunek przejrzysty. Ogólnie piwo średnie w odbiorze, lekko wodniste, no i ta stęchlizna.
3.2 Has that foggy, old, kellerbier taste. Not super clean. Typical for the style, wouldn’t buy again. Online hier gibt bier
3.5 500 ml bottle at home, bb. 18.12.2019. Pours a clear amber with a white head. The aroma is lightly to medium malty and lightly to medium hoppy - grains, sweet grains, earthy hop notes, light herbal notes, some butter, some dried fruits. Medium body with an average carbonation, a light sweetness and a light to medium bitterness. The flavor is similar to the smell with lightly sweetish grains, some dried fruits and herbal earthy hop notes. Finishes with a light hoppy bitterness. 3.1 Draught at Eckerts. Clear orangy color with an off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a slight sweetish touch, maybe a bit bready. Don't get much more, but it's quite ok. 6-3-6-3-13.
4.1 Pours a clear, pale mahogany coloration with a large, foamy head slightly visible carbonation. Smells of quite toasted, grainy, bready malt and just a hint of herbal hops. Taste is quite dominated by the toasted, bready, caramel malt and ligher notes of toffee, dark fruit and licorice, with little hops coming through except for some light herbal/earthy accents, while there also is a slight estery spice presence to this, with just a hint of clove. Finishes bittersweet, with a light/medium bitterness and some toasted malt and estery spice lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. Quite a nice Dunkel that remains quite drinkable despite a surprising malt complexity, with some light herbal/earthy hops and estery spice balancing things out.
4.0 Flaska från Landbierparadis. Klar bronsfärgad vätska med högt vitt skum. Hö och bröd i doften. Brödig smaker, mjuk lite tuggig munkänsla, lätt brädnda brödkanter, knäckebröd, blommig humle och så snygga djupa maltsmaker. Lätt beska. Bra smakkdjup och så gott.
3.4 50cl bottle thanks to @rauchbierlover. Pours clear amber color with white head. Mild aroma has bread and earthy notes. Taste is crispy grain with quite dry maltiness and noble hops. Very nice, clean and balanced.

3.4 Half-litre on 8th Sep 2018 in Bamberg and then on a bierprobe at Cafe Abseits on 12th Sep 2018. Clear, deep amber body, white pillow on top. caramel malty nose and taste, some late bitterness from the hops, liked it.
3.0 From tap at Café Abseits, Bamberg. Aroma is bready caramel malt with cereal, a touch of hay, toasted and earthy notes. Flavour is mild sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Decent Keller, dominant caramel malt, could be a little more outspoken aromatically though.
3.5 beautiful appearance of clear amber colour and one inch creamy, slightly yellowish white head; aroma of grains, soma hay, grassy and bready notes; taste of whole grains bread, toasted and intensive burnt sunflower seed notes; enjoyable one

3.1 On tap at Café Abseits, pours a clear, dark orange/amber with some creamy, white head. Nose is mild, some flower notes, a grainy/rye note, some yeast, a little nickel. Flavor is better, clear grains/toast, more dark wheat than rye, honey, dough, yeast. Finishes dry, a little slick. Very drinkable.

2.8 Bottled on November 13, 2017. As a blind tasting. I think it was purchased at Landbierparadies, online shop. Amber color. Malty, some vegetal off-notes, roasted scent, lacking some hop character. Malty, a bit herbal hoppy, small focus on malt taste, nice hop character though. Medium mouthfeel and bitterness. 4/4/6/3/11=2.8
3.4 7-3-7-3-14 On tap @ Torschuster, Bamberg. Pours clear golden, with a creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread and caramels, as well as some herbal hops. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread and caramels, as well as hops with grassy notes.

3.3 500ml on tap at the Torschuster, Bamberg. Aroma is oats, malt. Appearance is slightly cloudy brown with a brownish foam. Tatse is light sweet. Good balance. Nice.
2.1 Malzig süsser Antrunk, röstig kräutrig rauchiger Geschmack. Passt alles nicht so gut zusammen!
4.1 On draught at Eckerts / Hotel Nepomuk in Bamberg. Served at 12 C. Love at first bite. Maybe it was the temperature that allowed so many flavours to be unlocked at once. I had it bottled at JoeinDalhem’s home a couple of days earlier at fridge temperature and it did very little for me though it got better with the passage of (warming) time. In full flood like today this is a great beer for its weight.
3.7 Keg @Cafe Abseits, Bamberg. 07-08-2016. Pours quite clean dark gold with nice white head. Moderate head retention, some lacing. Malty, DMS, bready, caramel nose. Medium body, average carbonation, oily texture. Taste is malty, biscuits, little caramel. Sweet aftertaste. Enjoyable.
3.4 Rerate with fresh bottle (old rating compöetely overridden) Clear copper with medium white head. Aroma is grass, herbs, lemon, some peachy malt rather rural earthy spicy. Taste is fresh herbal hoppy with a sweet malty body. Light chewy doughy notes. Hop bitterness as well. In the finish slight dirty and hoppy notes. Drinkable. Maybe less edgy than my review sounds.
