5.0 i tried the 6.9 and now the 5.5 i must say the 6.9 was a bit strong not that i didn't like it but the 5.5 was to much of a drop may i suggest a 6.0 meet me half way....but besides that, i like it very much great tasting beer great job........
2.3 Pale gold pour with a rocky, white head. The aroma is mostly straw. It has a light, watery body with average carbonation. The taste is bland and quick.
2.6 Starting 2018 off right with an American classic! Pours pale golden, perfectly clear with lots of tiny bubbles, & a big fluffy white head. The aroma is metallic and a touch doughy, weird... not awful just not especially "beery" The flavor is sweet with a little zip of hoppiness and a relatively neutral flavor generally. There is a bit of apple character & a touch of honey like maltiness with a little bit of lingering corn. But yeah, it's reasonably inoffensive & fairly clean. I can see why my college friends drank a bunch of this, this would be a good beer to keep a 20 year old on the ßøøst all the ding dang summertime.
0.8 12 oz can. Not being a snob, I’ve bern known to enjoy a PBR, but this is the worst.
2.0 gives me a headache
1.8 Pours a clear, pale golden with a medium white head. The aroma has grain and bread, and it is a touch skunky. Not very pleasant, but it isn't very strong either. The taste is slightly sweet and has some grassy notes to it. But outside of that, it resemble the nose. Its bready and grainy and really doesn't have an aftertaste to it. Medium bodied and kind of coarse in texture. Regarding beers that I would choose to drink, this would be close to the bottom of the list.
3.9 Local distributer for Fry's Food in Scottsdale, Az cant decide whether the ABV content is 5.5% or 6.9%...it fluctuates irregularly. Whats up with that?...also where can i buy 4 packs of this product in Maricopa County, Az?...it is my favorite "getting buzzed" beer!!!
1.8 Thick white head on top of a dark yellow body. The smell is metallic. Tastes kind of flat. It's rather bland and flavorless. Nothing bad per we but nothing good either. Memorable for not being memorable.
1.7 Bottle, from US. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating.
3.0 24oz can pours a pale golden straw with a large white head. Sweet malt aroma with light grain and grassy hops. Upfront lager yeast and hop bitterness lead into sweet malt with a touch of alcohol. A high school favorite that still remains drinkable.
1.8 Nice straw/gold color; Medium body; Aroma of malt, hay, & cereal; Flavor of sweet malt, hay/grain, and corn/cereal; More of a malt liquor - not too bad.
2.1 From old tasting notes. Bright yellow gold color. Small white head. Faint tart malt nose. Tangy malt flavor has a hint of of apple peel. Dull and listless.
1.8 Can. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Neutral and thin.
4.1 Good beer for the working class budget minded person. Mellow and drinkable.
4.9 It is good n refreshing it is good with citrus i even msde a red beer out of it.
2.0 This beer was great at 5.5 ABV but since they raised it to 6.5 it’s NASTY! They should have left well enough alone because they already have "EDGE" the high alcohol alternative. Besides, not everyone wants to see double after a few bottles.
2.0 Bottle poured to pint glass very cold beer Appearance: Light yellow, big white foam Aroma: scent smell of malt, nothing else Taste: not really great, watery Mouth feel: very carbonated Overall: good beer, repeat: no look for: no drank:
1.5 Cut and paste all these mass produced beers would have a hard time telling any of them apart
2.6 Poured into weizen. Dark yellow and golden color with lively carbonation. Bold yet fairly smooth, frothy head. Corn, has a mild roastiness.
1.7 Can. Clear gold with a quickly dissipating white head. Typical malt aroma and sweet corn taste of mega brewer beers. Drinkable but nothing special.
1.3 24 ounce can purchased at a local ghetto mart. Amazing sweet, cream corn and DMS presence. Lots of vegetal notes later on. Yikes. Transparent golden body with a medium, relatively strong white head present. Starts with a sweet, corny malt flavor with lots of DMS. Some slippery, buttery diacetyl comes through in the middle and the end. No other flavors. DMS and DIacetyl delight! To be honest, I can handle these flavors, and I have had much worse. This is a great beer to try, if you’re wondering what those two off-flavors taste like.
0.5 Backlog. Well this is one of low lows. Just watery and not much else going on. Some light grain and grass I guess.
4.3 This beer is my 1st Option when going to purchase beer. It is a really good tasting beer and the price is very affordable along with the count! Who can argue with that
4.7 Been drinking this since it first came out and it is my go-to beer. Number one all rounder for me hands down and I’ve drank hundreds of beers from all over the world and all styles. It’s not sweet because it taste like a real beer! Perfect alcohol content; just enough but not too much so that you can enjoy several tall cans. Did I mention this shit cost about $1 per 24oz?! Ya, a great beer that is accessible to all walks of life without the harsh taste and looks from people you get when a similar priced beer is consumed. Although I guess they could class up the appearance of the can/32oz bottle. Maybe wrapping it in gold cellophane would help.
2.2 1/27/16 Chicago (24 Oz multiple pours into standard pint glass). Light clear blond pour, mild carbonation, generous white head, though quickly dissipating. Minimal aroma or taste of hops. Firm texture despite mild carbonation, easy going down. Meh.
2.5 24oz can. Pours a brilliant pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Lively carbonation. Aroma is grain. Very sweet, no hops to taste here. Thin, light body. Easy to drink, just don’t let it get warm.
2.2 I cannot believe this beer is still produced..not great by any means but cheap and drinkable...in college this was a go to.
1.2 Clear golden with a smooth white head. Aromas of cereals, malt-extract and corn develop. Lightly carbonated, with a thin texture and a light body. Mainly malty sweet and a faint bitterness, nothing "hoppy" as claimed. Short finish at least...
1.4 24oz Dose. Hellgelbes klares Bier mit instabilem Schaum. Wenig Aroma, kaum Geschmack. Eiskalt wie Eiswasser.
2.5 Originally rated on 2/56/08-Probably my favorite "cheap" beer. for the price its kinda hard to beat. It has a decent flavor and a good kick to it, a little on the sweet side but not bad.
