2.8 (bottle) bright orange amber colour with a small beige head; aroma of caramel, hint of honey; light, balanced flavour with a long, very light bitter finish
2.4 Can. Slightly hazy amber coppery, medium offwhite head. Mildly grassy with some biscuits. Medium sweet malty, biscuits and grains, cereal. Quite watery, bland. No bitterness. Light.
2.4 Clear, copper-red colored, medium off white head, good lasting. Very mild overall, almost no aroma, some light malt, caramel, bit corny. Light bodied, average carbonation, watery. Nothing off, just flavourless...
2.3 Can. Amber-brown beer with a tan head. Malt and light caramel aroma. Malt and light citrus flavor with light mineral notes. Medium bodied. Malt and mineral linger with light citrus,
2.2 Bottle at tulum. Nutty, caramel, corn. Light bitter light sweet. Light bodylively carbonation.
3.2 Bottle at the CUN airport Pours clear dark brown with a small off-white head, light lacing. Caramel, toasted malts, chocolate, vanilla and mild sweet Decent
3.5 Copper color with a toasted malt aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt with a crisp hop balance.
3.0 Bottle at lunch. Never heard of it so I ordered one. Drank it out of the bottle with a lime so don’t know what it looked like. I do know that it was light and clean with a smooth finish. Better than most Mexican lagers. Would definitely drink again.
2.7 I’ve never tried Indio before, it appears to be in line with Dos Equis Amber instead of the multitude of Mexican pale lagers. Good start. I got a lone 12 oz bottle at the nearby HEB as best as I recall. A departure from my usual Mexican beer tasting format, this one is getting opened and poured into a small 10 oz beer glass. It delivers a surprisingly dark red-amber body with an unsurprising, very slim, light tan top. I lift for a sniff, bread with a caramel entry. The unadorned taste is grain, malt, water and toast. I add a squeeze of lime. Definitely an improvement. Same taste, just now with lime. Certainly I would drink again.
2.4 Tastes like a light malt beer. Malt is the main flavour. Easy to drink. Clear and chocolate in colour.
2.4 From a little supermarket in CDMX: pours amber with off-white head. Aroma is faint caramel and cheap lager smell. Taste is lightly sweet and with bits of caramel. Kind of thin, but quite drinkable.
1.9 Bottle down in Monterrey. Chestnut pour with a small whitish head. Aroma is caramel, slight nut. Flavor is slightly sweet, minimal bitterness, caramel, grain, uninteresting. Thinner feel, not exciting. Meh-xico.
2.9 Aroma: sweet, caramel, Mary Appearance: brown, clear, minimal head, tan foam, Taste: lightly bitter, caramel, lightly bitter, cereal Palate: light body, thin feel, lively,
2.2 Color dorado tirando a ámbar, translúcido, con capa de espuma blanca de tres dedos de grosor y retención decente. Carbonatación media. Textura acuosa. Aroma a cereal, malta, ligera oxidación, caramelo.
1.7 475 ml can from Mexico. Pours clear amber coloured, almost no head. Corn, caramel, metallic notes. Almost tasteless, some malty sweetness and minimum dryness. Very watery and light bodied, flat carbonated, light dry finish. Not good.
2.2 Bottle in Bacalar, Mexico. Golden color, white head. Pretty common lager, refreshing by the beach.
2.5 12 oz twist off bottle poured at the resort near Playa Del Carmen. I've been drinking this the last couple days, knowing only that I was having what the resort called "our dark beer.". Assuming it was Dos Equis until they actually brought the bottle out for me to pour myself this go around. Pleasant surprise to get unexpected new ratable beers in u expecting situations. Poured to a mug. Reddish copper pour with plenty of mousse foam head. Pretty typical Mexican dark lager, leading to my initial confusion. Paper grains with a hint of caramel. Lingering paper like flavors. Nothing special with this one, but I'll probably keep drinking them while I'm here
3.0 Si estás en el centro/sur de mexico con esta cerveza no hay pierde, buena, bonita y barata jajaja cumplidora 😂🍺
1.8 26.03.2018, 12 oz bottle @ Sanchez: Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grainy, cereal, light malts, caramel, hay, minerals, paper, grass, hints of butterscotch. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, cereal, hay, minerals, paper, caramel, grass. Little bitterness, watery and slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Easy drinking, but meh!
2.0 Can, 355ml. A clear amber beer with minimal head. Aromas of wheat and some hints of wood. Taste is moderately bitter and lightly sweet with some carbonation. Medium bodied with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Lacks character.
1.6 Can, 355ml. Pale copper, frothy to minimal offwhite head. Aromas of corn, rice, light caramel. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Musky, artifical flavors.
2.4 330ml Flasche. Klar und bernsteinfarben mit minimaler Schaumkrone. Leiche Malznoten. Etwas hopfig. Leichter Körper. Milder Geschmack.
0.5 Bottle at beach-side restaurant in Mexico. Nice dark caramel color. Nice off-white head. Typical Mexican corporate beer flavor :-p, but zero carbonation - totally thin & flat. "Stick to Negra Modelo, Chris."
2.6 Bottle to cup while watching the boys jump off a zip line into a cenote in Mexico. Poured amber with a white head. Aroma of corn, grains, caramel. Taste was mild sweet, grainy, sweet corn, caramel.
2.7 12oz bottle from the bottle. Refreshing pale lager. Not much flavor, but not objectionable.
2.0 Poured from 473mL can. Copper brown with thin off white head. Very light caramel malt, otherwise fairly watery. Still the better macro Mexican option though.
2.5 Dark red color not much head, light body, cheap beer form a macro brewey...
3.6 Cerveza Mexicana COMERCIAL, excelente color y sabor para su tipo. Mucho mejor en envase Caguamon de 1.18 litros.
1.5 Cerveza mexicana muy comercial. Seguramente hay otras más malitas que esta.
2.6 Clear reddish brown pour with a white head. Aroma is sweet corn and grain. Taste follows but has some caramel in there as well. Light body.
