Indslev Hvede I.P.A.

Indslev Hvede I.P.A.

Danish: Hvede I.P.A.

2.6 Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma - Pale lager, malts, caramel. Taste - Lightly bitter, medium sweetness, malts, sugar, yeast, wheat, diacetyl.
2.3 Meh, too little hops for a supposedly hoppy beer. Some esters, a little sourness, but not a great brew...
3.0 Well, its named ’INDSLEV PALE ALE’ and that might be the best indicator that this is not what you might have expected: a classic IPA. It has definitely notes of citrus and white grapes, but also a slighly fruit gum aroma that tears the whole beer away from its originally hoppy character towards a sweetish one. And you’ll experience the same in terms of taste and overall flavor. The body is quite thin - a good summer thirstquencher and and IPA that might also appeal hop-haters. Overall average.
3.1 Hoppy aroma with citrus notes. Pale golden colour with a short white head. Meidum sweet tasty with plenty of hoppy bitterness. Something about the taste seems a bit off, however. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish. A beer I might return to.
Middel perlende i glasset.
3.0 Bottle 50cl. Golden with an off-white head. Not as cloudy as expected, but quite clear. Fresh subtle hoppy aroma. Soft taste which is medium bitter. An easy to drink beer which will go well in the summer with some snacks.
2.6 Copenhagen 14/5 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Pours hazy golden yellow with white head. Subsides quickly to thin lacing. Aroma is fruity and distinctly of weissbeer. Medium carbonation. Taste follows the nose. Wheat and sweet fruit. Little bitterness lingering in aftertaste. Nice enough wheatbeer.
3.3 Flaske.
3.2 Bottle, 50cl. Pours an unclear pale amber. Aroma is bitter hoppy and pretty fruity, but is mainly dominated by floral, yeasty wheat notes. Taste is bitter up front, but quickly gets sweeter, although maintaining a dry side all the way. slight acidic fruityness as well. Mellow, dry body, medium carbonation.
3.2 Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 17.1.15. Hazy blond-gold with white head. A little dusty in the nose, honey, fruity hoppiness and some cookiedough. Bubblegum, yeast, spiciness - witbir like in the mouth. Full body, a little fruity finish and somewhat yeasty aftertaste.
1.7 An orange wheat IPA with low, white head. Aroma is fruity, banana, hoppy. Taste is bitter sweet. Pearly. Weird combo.
3.1 Poured from bottle, hazy gold with low head. Aroma is clearly weissen, banana, hay and herbs. Taste is a CO2 explosion with a slightly hoppy bite. Notes of banana, grass and some pine. Bittersweet aftertaste.
3.0 Hazy orange, frothy white head. Yeasty, banana aroma. Same turn up in flavour plus smooth caramel and light hoppy bitterness. Not bad, but I was expecting more hops.
3.1 Yellow colour, white head. Smell of wheat, yeast. Aroma of yeast, banana, some hop and spruce. Mildly sweet with some trend to sour. Lively carbon. Mostly weizen, very little IPA
3.1 Hazy pale golden color and a small shortlived white head. Aoma of herbs, some esthery notes, a bit of bubblegum and some floral hop pressence. There is some bitter hop pressence to the taste as well but generally speaking it feals more like a refreshing and somewhat standardized wheat beer with some notes of yeast, cloves, a bit of banana and different spices. Calling it a Wheat I.P.A seems a bit wrong, but otherwise it’s a decent beer.
3.1 Flaske 0,5 liter.
3.4 From bottle. Great beer from a fantastic brewery. I really like German weissbeer but this beer combines it with a nice hoppy bitterness. Sounds weird with weissbeer IPA but it taste wonderful
Samma återkommer i smaken.
Medium konsistens. Leskende, behagelig og lettdrikkelig!
2.9 Off white head, slightly hazy golden body, some lacings all over the mug. Aroma; clove, coriander, flowers, mild scents. Taste; juicy hops, malts, butter, spices, mild bitterness underneath. Normal and fresh on palate. Finishes juicy, caramel, buns. Good wheatbeer. [50cl br btl abv5.5%, B@Indslev Bryggeri, T@Middelfart Fyn DK]
3.2 Backlog. On tap at The Green Lion Inn. My first ever Wheat-IPA. I think these guys just we’re ahead of their time, at least in the local area.
3.3 Golden hazy beer with huge white head. Some aroma of clove and bread. Some bitterness, more then expected for a wheat ale. Quite nice for the style, the IPA is too subtle.
3.3 Shared 50 cl bottle. Pours golden with a small off white head. Aroma and taste is yeast and banana. Not much IPA...
2.9 Bottle 0.5l at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. BBE 13.03.2014. Colour is cloudy light orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Wheat, fruits, hints of citrus and grape, hops and malts.
3.2 Golden with a white head - wheat, malt and some floral hops in the aroma - Good body with wheat, malts, some spicy yeast and hints of bitterness - short malts and floral hops in the finsih - This was quite nice
3.3 (Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of apricots, citrus, orange peel, wheat, bread and a touch of toast. Fruity, wheat taste with apricots, peaches, orange, pineapple, bread, a certain wheat character and a balanced floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty wheat beer with a fresh hop character. Quite nice.
2.4 On tap. Hazy golden, small white head. Nose is fruity. Taste a the expected mix between IPA and wheat, not a big fan. Its bitter it first, then has a sweet wheaty finish. Carbonation is soft.
2.6 Hazy golden orange color with small white head. Wheat, yeast, citrus. Taste, wheat, yeast, some spices, honey, citrus hops. Weak finish.
