Indslev Julehvede

Indslev Julehvede

Julehvede (Christmas Wheat) is reddish as dark amber and has a fine, smooth maltflavour. The beer has a fine balance between cinnamon and a light spiced sweet with a touch of cloves. Julehvede is full bodied and is perfectly suited for the traditional Christmas Lunch or Christmas Eve dinner. A smooth beer that taste like christams smells. Julehvede is brewed on 6 different malts. The beer is to be served at 6 - 8 celcius in a hefeglass, so aroma and head is perfectly displayed.

2.9 Murky orange, airy offwhite head. Malty aroma, light hints if spice. Sweet flavour, malt, caramel and notes of the typical hefe esters and spice later on.
3.7 Spændende hvede-juleøl. Drukket meget kold. Frisk juleøl, med tilpas sødme og aroma.
3.5 It has fresh creamy foam. The aroma is sweet and spicy with cloves and caramel. Wheat malts typical citrus and fruit character you meet only in taste, but it is replaced by caramel, clove and cinnamon.
3.2 Color ambar, cremosa, abundante espuma (3 dedos). Aroma a plátano, piña y galleta. Muy marcado. Tono dulce en el que se repiten los sabores del aroma, en un conjunto cremoso y bebible. Algo plana en conjunto, aunque agradable.
2.5 Bottle. Hazy light amber pour with a frothy head. Some fruity notes, yeast, sweat, grassy notes and esters with a slightly tart ending.
2.1 Flaska. Oklar bärnstensfärgad med ett stort smutsvitt skum. Mycket malt i både smak och doft. I det senare är det alldeles för dominerande. I doften hittas en viss julkrydda samt karamell. I smaken en lättare jäst. Avstå.
3.3 DAA; Bottle 50CL. Pours unclear amber with a fading, frothy creamy, less lacing, off-white head. Nose is malt, toffee, sweet citrus fruit, wood, cloves, spice and yeast. Taste is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a sweet citric, light warming, moderate lasting finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
3.7 Orange coloured. Unclear. Light beige head. Sweet, fruity and light yeasty aroma. Some vague spices. Flavour is quite bananalike and has some cloves and yeast notes. Medium bodied. Is sweetish and quite dry in the end.
3.4 500ml bottle purchased at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Cloudy amber coloured body under a tiny, stable, beige head leaving fair lacing behind. Smell of caramel, cinnamon, and dark wheat. Dark bread, marzipan, honey, and spices to the taste character. Slightly roasted ending. Fine bodied. An exciting Christmas beer, maybe a tad too sweet in the long run (shared with Finn Arvid, Tromsø 19.11.2014).
3.3 50cl bottle. Amber color, slightly cloudy with a small lightbrown head that fades quickly. Sweet and fruity aroma with notes of spices. medium sweetness, a lot of spice in the aftertaste.
3.1 Bottle 50cl. Yellow creamy head. Hazy grey brown color. Aroma is caramel, apples, cinnamon, cloves. Taste is sweet and light with caramel and cinnamon.
3.2 Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Mørk gyldenbrun. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. God ferskenaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken fersken, plommer og aprikos. Svakt syrlig etter hvert med innslag av krydder. Ikke særlig julestemning her.
2.9 Huge vanilla yellowish head. Hazy amber body. Caramellish aroma, some butter. Caramel in taste, sweet wood, a bit unvaried. Smooth though. Finishes caramellish. [50cl br btl abv6.5%, B@Indslev Bryggeri, T@Middelfart Fyn DK]
3.4 One of the best Danish Breweries Indslev made this Christmas Weissbeer which is smooth and nice
3.4 Bottle at home. The colour is hazy orange with a light beige, creamy and medium head. Has a fruity and sweet aroma with spices, especially cardamom, pepper, cloves and berries. Nice. The flavour is alike with a touch of alcohol. Has a soft and slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A nice and spicy hefeweizen, but is a bit unbalanced in the flavour.
3.5 On bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo. Hazy golden color, good foam. Aromas of citrus , floral tones; medium intensity. Also some malt & Christmas spice. Medium body & complexity . Very well balanced. Enjoyable
3.1 Bottle from Brugsen, Hammel. Hazy reddish amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, wheat. A bit sweet taste of malt, spice, notes of cloves. Medium sweet finish.
3.5 Sweet yeasty aroma. Cloudy amber/light brown, with small white-ish head that lasts. Sweet malts and sweet fruits. Some bitterness in the end. Fills the mouth. Smooth.
3.3 Bottle from Brugsen, CPH - Pours fuzzy amber colour with persistent off-white head. Doughy bread, yeasty, wheaty notes, with some good fruit nuances, banana, and cloves in the finish. Decent.
2.9 50 cl bottle at Retro Nørrebro. Cloudy orange red with white head. Nice balanced spicyness. Bor too much cinnamon or what ever you'd expect of a Christmas beer.
2.9 Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of shortbread, grain, and fruit. Bitter flavour of hops with notes of cinnamon and cloves as well as grain and banana. Sweetish, estery aftertaste. Discernible alcohol presence, which, perhaps, should not be the case, given the ABV. Interesting but more this than good.
2.0 Bottle. 6.5%. Best before 25.01.19. Pours a hazy orange/amber, with a cremy-ish, beige/light tan head. Slight lacing. Sweetish, cereal aroma, with fruit, light cooked vegetables. Light bread, citrusy hint, light metallic overtone as it warms. Flavour is cereals, with a milky hint and a light cooked vegetables note. A wee bit citrusy as it warms. Grainy, cereal finish. Light alcohol burn. Lingering bitterness and a hint of cloves, followed by a light apple note. Too much carbonation. Overall not particularly good; unbalanced. I tried it again because I thought I might have been mistaken, but I guess I was right the first time around. 02.03.18. Old rating: 4 / 3 / 3 / 2 / 5 = 1.7 Bottle. 6.5%. Best before 17.12.13. Pours a cloudy golden/amber with an off-white head. Aroma is tart with hay, wheat and cereals. Flavour is sweetish, with malty and wheat, metallic and grainy. Dryish grainy finish. Yucky. 05.10.13.
2.8 Bottle. Red orange with a medium sized diminishing off white head that leaves a bit lacing. Aroma is wheat, caramel, banana, light spicy, honey. Taste is medium sugary sweet and light bitter. Medium body, watery/oily texture, medium carbonation. Fresh fruity finish.
3.2 Caramel, toffee and overripe apples can be tasted in this wheat Christmas beer. Nothing wrong with it per se, just not that interesting.
3.2 Nice aroma of wine or raisins, a bit tart. Taste is strong and sweet, maybe a bit too alcoholic. Beer is cloudy and orange with almost no head, which disappears quite fast.
3.6 500 ml bottle. Pours deep amber bordering to brown, hazy, with small orange head. Aroma of some berry, raspberries p’haps? Fruity maltiness with some caramel. Taste: fruity and fresh maltiness, citrus. Very low bitterness, nearly no aftertaste
