4.2 Straf maar niet bitter
3.2 Def something for rainy fall/winter in front of a fireplace. And for dessert. Strong caramel toffee and coffee flavours, slight hoppy dryness in the end. A delicious black beer/stout which is more than the name stout brings. Classic stouts and german black beers usually have not that malty fruityness and depth.
3.3 Dark with brownish, disappears again. Smell of malt and chocolate. Taste of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. A bit strange carbonation in the finish.
3.3 Bottle from Sterk Amsterdam. Roasted malt, chocolate, some forest fruits, dry finish.
2.8 Piwo ciemne o czarnej barwie piana beżowa pozostawia lacing. W aromacie śliwki, czekolada, pumpernikiel. W smaku kawowe, alkoholu brak
3.1 Bottled. A brown beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has noets of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.
3.4 Bottle at the brewery. Impenetrable black with beige head. Deep dark chocolate aroma, charcoal, toasted pumpkin seeds. Dry and quite bitter. Soft carbonation.
3.1 Sample from 75 cl bottle. Near black with a creamy off white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits and grasses. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Sweet finish.
3.4 75 cl. bottle. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee, sweetness and with a bitter finish.
3.1 Dark brown, almost black. Aroma: green peas, black malts, low alcohols. Dry with low sourness and low to zero grassy bitterness. Drinkable.
3.4 Bottle @ home. Clear dark brown w a medium brown head. Aroma medium+ malty (caramel, roasted, brown sugar, light coffee, dark chocolate). Flavor light sweet, medium bitter, light coffee and dark chocolate, licorice. Light body, kind of watery, average carbonated.
3.3 Barwa ciemno brązowa z rubinowymi refleksami. Piana brązowa, wysoka i trwała. Ma zwartą, drobno pęcherzykową budowę. Ładnie zdobi szkłankę. W aromacie kawowa paloność z nutami popiołu i trochę ciemnych owoców.  Smak to ponownie kawa, nuty palone, popiołowe i wytrawne. W tle trochę ciemnych owoców z lekką kwaśnością. Wysycenie wesokie do średniego. Ciało średnie. Posmak popiołowy palony.
3.6 33 cl fles. Zwart bier met beige schuimkraag. Geur: geroosterde mout, koffie, licht zoet, latte macchiato. Smaak: geroosterde mout, licht zoet, wat zoethout, toffee. Medium volmondig, ietwat romig. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: geroosterde mout, licht bitter.
3.6 Very dark brown with a beige head. Medium carbonation. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, yeast, dark fruit. Taste: Burnt bitterness and malty sweetness with just a touch of acidity. Medium mouthfeel
2.9 En klassisk Stout där inget sticker ut.
2.9 Opaque, black, moderate beige head. Aroma: dark malts, esters, treacle, roasted malts. Medium minus body. Soft carbonation. Taste: roast, esters, coffee, light phenolic off-notes. Low to light bitterness. A couple of questions.
3.3 Bottle. Pours dark with thick brown head. Aroma of dark chcocolate, hazelnuts, slightly coffee. Taste is light bitter with slightly acidic notes. Medium body, soft to lively carbonation, light bitter finish.
3.0 Piana beżowa, nawet dosyć spora, choć nietrwała, zwinęła się do krążka bo bokach pokala, lekko szyła na szkle. Kolor czarny prawie nieprzenikniony. Aromat kawy, czekolady gorzkiej, lekki kwasek, toffi, odrobina likieru. Smak lekko rozwodniony, sporo palonej kawy, z dodatkiem czekolady, pralin, z czasem piwo robi się mdłe i zbyt kwaśne. Jak dla mnie takie se.
3.1 Pours almost black with medium beige head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, charcole. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.6 Svart med beige skum. Lukter lakris, mørk sjokolade, kakaopulver og havre. Middels fylde. Søtlig engelsk lakris, mørk sjokolade, kaffe og havre.
3.5 0.33 l bottle from local 'Getränke Hoffmann', best before May 2021. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, slightly powdery aroma of cocoa, coffee and some licorice with traces of nuts. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of cocoa, coffee, licorice and toasted nuts, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, fairly earthy-dry finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Stout, nicely roasty and not too sweet.
3.2 Bottle. Color: Black, dense light brown head. Aroma: Milk chocolate, mocha. Taste: Milk chocolate, notes of coffee with milk, mocha. Sweetish, smooth. Medium body, just undwr average carbonation. Moderate bitterness. Thin. Nothing special. Mwah.
3.3 From bottle in porter glass. Pours dark brown w/tan head, aroma of roast malt, burnt rubber. Rich zesty taste falls away to a dry finish.
3.8 Bottle, 0.33l. Black pour, one finger creamy brown head. Good retention, long lasting. Thick lacing on the glass. Really nice on the nose, roasted malts, liquor, some wood notes. Almost has this Imperial Stout feel to it, which is nice. Thin to medium body, medium carbonation. Light mouthfeel and texture, easily drinkable but a bit disappointing - I really hoped for the fuller body. Oh well, no matter. Taste and aroma are quite fine and spot on. Liquory bittersweet taste and aroma. High on the malt, caramel and roasted. Herbs, forest fruits. Cocoa and coffee. Ashy. Woody notes, pronounced alcohol. Quite liquory, dry, lingering bitterness and slight burn on the tongue. Medium to long finish. Pretty good stout. Tasty.
4.1 Bottle imported and contributed by mum and dad and shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 01.07.19. Ebony. Fairly persistent pale brown head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste of tobacco, ash, liquorice, roasted malt and dark chocolate.
