3.4 Cerveza bastante ligera, con notas frutales. Limpia y clara. Refrescante con alta gasificación.
3.1 Pours clear golden with white head, that won‘t stay for long. Fresh malty and gently bitter flavour. Easy to drink, yet not very intense in taste. Quenches your thirst well.
3.2 14/20 used to love it, still really good, really fresh lager ,so easy drinking, with a big taste for 4.1%, lemon taste with the lager.
3.0 Hazy golden with a fair bit of carbonation running up the glass. Thin white head which quickly dissipates. Aroma of lemon, citrus, grass and malts. Taste is quite pleasant, with the bready biscuity malts balanced well with a lemon/citrus zest. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Not much to distinguish it from other decent golden ales though. Also a little too much carbonation for me. I definitely prefer the cask version.
3.4 500ml bottle: BBE Dec 2018. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 4th Nov 2017. Liked the cask version, let's see if this 'live tasting' comes up trumps too. Nice light amber/orange body, clean and clear; the head a foaming blanket of off-white bubbles. Aroma has both hints of hops and maltiness, nice blend in the nose. The taste is semi-sweet, slightly fruity and hop bitter. Decent, but the cask offering is better in my opinion, just a little too much carbonation in the bottle.
3.6 500ml bottle. Pours light gold. Nose is straw, touch of caramel, elderflower and citrus zest. Very light. Bready, biscuit malt first in the taste, some sweet caramel and lemon and orange zest. Nice bitterness to it on the finish. Refreshing and decent golden ale.
3.1 Bottle from supermarket somewhere in scotland. Easy drinking but with some nice hops, i prefer the cask version
3.3 From a bottle at home in Aberfoyle. Clear golden color, little white head. Just a nice taste, fresh, but in my opinion just a normal "pils".
2.1 Bottle from Coop, Kirkwall. Májkrémes, gyógyszeres mellékíz, egy rosszabb dobozosra emlékeztet.
2.9 Bottle from Tesco. Clear golden. Nose is dank, malty, hay, faint citrus. Taste is light bitter, malty, light citrus, easy.
4.2 en lys øl der er mildt humlet, en noget der minder om hyldeblomstsmag......
3.0 S: malt, slight citrus A: orange, clear, minimal head T: low bitterness, low/med sweetness P: refreshing
3.4 Bottle from Co op. Pours clear orangey-yellowy-gold with a white head. Aromas of butterscotch, light mintiness and gently bitter hop. Flavours of buttered white toast, pale soft malt with a sharp but light bitter hop. There’s murray mints in there too. It has a light, oily mouthfeel with moderate to gentle carbonation. Soft and buttery refreshing light ale with enough hop that it doesn’t taste washy.
3.2 Bottled 500ml. -Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild fruity hoppy nose. Sweetish malty, mild fruity, grassy hoppy, notes of caramel and mild bitterish hoppy finish. Pleasant surprise.
3.4 Slightly hazy gold. Thin head, medium retention. Aroma intensity 3.25/5. Citrus and lemon biscuit aroma. Tea and bay leaf add to the medium-heavy bitter taste. Light to medium body. Hops: First Gold, Perle, Cascade
2.9 500ml Flasche. Golden mit leichterTrübung und kleiner Schaumkrone. Fruchtiges Aroma. Leichter Körper. Im Geschmack süß-sauer.
3.1 Bottle from Sainsbury’s in Edinburgh. Aroma very interesting with mango and vanilla sweetness. Not bitter enough to balance out the sweetness.
3.7 Smells of light malt and citrus. Tastes predominantly of grapefruit, sweet and tropical then hoppy, followed by a nice sweet malt, slightly bitter finish that mellows out gradually and blankets the tongue nicely. Nicely carbonated in my opinion. I would take this one out of the fridge 10 minutes before you drink it.
2.8 Bottle @home tasting General Election 2015 (rating backlog) Pours golden with a white head. Nose is grass/hay, some citrus fruits, quite lemony. Taste is very much the same, its just bland it does nothing well, [edit] should have added very thin finish.
3.5 Clear golden beer, medium to small fluffy retentive white head. Nose is citric and malty. Flavor is malts, grains, some sweetness and delightful spicy hops and citrus in the finish. Lingering citric bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel and very easy drinkability. Nice.
3.4 500ml bottle (Highlander, Tallinn) Lovely fruity citrussy aroma. Pale orange, small head. Medium palate, fullish, but very refreshing. Just as citrussy in the taste, light grains back that up. Gentle tingle in the finish. Delicious. Brilliant use of two great hops. Drinkability massive, 500ml just went in an instant. More beers like this, please.
2.0 4.1% gold colour with a thin head, another one that tries hard but is far too hoppy.
2.6 50 cl bottle from Meny supermarket. Pours golden clear with a big soon fading head. Malty, nunny and earthy aroma. Dry finish. Good brew.
3.1 Drunk from 50cl bottle bought my parents on their Scotland trip. Enjoyable golden ale.
2.9 Pours golden with a light white head. Smells floral and slightly fruity. To taste quite fruity with a hint of grass and nuts. Pleasant enough. Nothing special.
3.3 500ml bottle. Pale golden color. Small size, white head, struggles to stay. Caramel malts, very sweet, milky and damp grass and honey in aroma. Reminds me bit of Lithuanian beers. Sour malts and grains, spicy hops, rosee pepper, herbal taste. Perle executes other hops and takes charge (and I don’t mind it). Nice spicy hops in aftertaste. Quite high carbonation which makes beer bit too aggressive, but I will survive. It’s not quite supremely golden, but nice enjoyment nethertheless. I want to try this on cask.
3.2 Bottle at some random scottish place at Tallinn. Pours golden with beige head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is sweet, toasted, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, malt, toasted. Overall: ok.
3.2 Bottle at home. The color is straw yellow and clear, and has a small, off-white head. Butterscotch in the aroma along with hay, grass, pale malt and lemongrass. More grassy hops in the flavor with hay, lemon peel and grass. A little dry in the end. Light body, light mouth feel and light bitterness. A fresh and nice golden ale.
4.0 Bottle.Amber coloured. Medium body, grassy hop flavour, long bitter finish. Well balanced.Ok
3.3 500ml bottle from Aldi supermarket, drank at home: This one was a very easy to drink beer that went down a treat & came through with a good balance but at the same time nothing really stands out for me. I liked the beer, it was a smooth one with nice touches of sweetness & good bitterness throughout; good stuff from Inveralmond but not quite great.
