The Pale Ale boasts a fragrant aroma and assertive, crisp bitterness. This ale has a deep golden color and slightly sweet malt finish, which nicely balances its hop bitterness.

3.8Tap @ brewery. Golden appearance with an off white head. Somewhat sweet wheat malty, citrus hoppy aroma. Orange citrusy, a touch piney, toasted wheat malty flavor.
3.1[4200-20111217] 12floz bottle. Malted corn grain aroma. Slightly hazy, dark amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter lemon grain flavour has a lasting grainy fruit note. Medium body. Interesting. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

3.3Bottle from Half Time. Pours golden amber with a small creamy near-white head. Mild aromas of resin and citrus. Flavor is resin with a touch of citrus sour. The malt is there, but the hops dominate. Sort of a citric bitter finish. Nice.
3.4Bottle- Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small head that fades and some lacing. Has an aroma of fresh grain and citrus. Quite clean. Has a nice citrus bite with a bit of sweetness. Anice bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly light body, crisp and refreshing. Quite smooth with a nice balance. Easy drinker. Nothing fancy just a nice pale ale to relax with. No problem putting back a few.
3.5On tap at Moosewood. Opaque copper with white head. Pine, citrus. Fairly bitter and acidic. Dry. Medium bodied. Decent.
3.1Bottle. Deep gold body with an off-white fizzy head Aroma of toasted grain, resin, grapefruit and a hint of flowers. the flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, water texture, lively carbonation. Not a lot depth to this beer. It is bitter from the get-go. A little orange juice taste behind the bitterness.
2.7Bottled. Poured medium orange with a short, fairly dense whitish head. The aroma picked up bready and pale malts with earthy and oxidized accents.. not a whole lot of hop presence. The flavor found more bitterness, but it was hard to define.. pale and honeyed malts supported.. dry on the finish with grainy residual sugars and a little tartness.. not all that good. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation.. didn’t flow very well. This bottle must’ve been a little old.
3.6A - Pours a fairly clear copper-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down to a ring around the glass leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel malt with some strong citrus hop notes. There are also some other fruity esters mixed in as well.
T - Starts off with some sweet caramel malts and some citrus hop flavor and bitterness. Through the middle, some beady malt flavor and bitterness come through. The finish is a mix of citrus lemon and some bitterness that lingers nicely.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth and crisp without a watery feeling. The bitterness creates a really dry mouthfeel, especially at the finish.
D - Very drinkable. Feels balanced and has enough flavor to stay interesting. The hop profile is pretty solid and the malt hop balance is nice.
3.4Pours an orange-gold with some light head. Nice hop aroma with some citrus notes, well balanced by malts. Medium bodied, smooth and enjoyable. A solid pale ale.
3.7hazy orange-amber body, thin cream head. Nose strongly of candied orange and caramel, a bit minty and refeshing. Flavor is less refreshing, the citrus a bit acrid in the finish and the earthy caramel less lively, though peach emerges near the back. Thin and Drying but lively, definitely one of the more interesting, flavorful, and refeshing APAs, though a bit of malt balance would be nice.
3.3A nice hop profile for an american pale. Getting a bit of citrus and orange peel in the nose. Flavor is smooth and balanced with a nice grapefruit bitter finish. A decent body and overall very nice drink.
4.012oz Bottle. Thanks Kevin! Strong floral citrus and pine nose, heavy on the C hops. Pours a clear copper and orange with a nice, super-lacey rim of white. Flavors are crips and rich. Nice strong malt backboned with some carameled nuance. Hops flavors and bitterness are great. Snappy, leafy, and bright. A really great, flavorful pale ale. Balanced. Exemplary for the style, in my opinion.
3.2Very nice floral taste without really any sweetness to it and a medium body.
3.9Bottle bought at some convenience store in Avon, NY. Copper pour with white head. Decent lacing. This is a crisp pale ale, with fresh citrusey flavor and aroma, with a bit of bitterness but not a whole lot. Excellent malt balance. I really, really, really, really, really enjoyed this brew. One of the best Pale Ales I’ve ever had. It’s not an IPA masquerading as a PA or anything. This would be my go-to Pale Ale if they sold it in stores near me.
3.0On tap at brewery. pours a dirty gold color. taste is crisp somewhat bitter and finishes dry. slightly hoppy and floral. pale ales just aren’t my style
3.3draft @ Coles, Buffalo, NY. deep copper color with pleasant hopped filled aroma. taste is full of balanced hop bitterness initially but just drops off into a mild finish. solid flavor, good bitterness. good APA
3.0No real hop nose, malts dominate the aroma, grapefruit hop flavor comes out in the body. Description suggests sweet malts...my palate missed that. There is a balance of hop & malt, decent lacing and a bit of pepper thrown in the flavor too.
3.22007: Light and clear orange-amber color. Decent stubborn finger of foamy head. Quite clear. Leaves just a bit of lace.
Pleasant pale malt. Hoppier than most pales, quite nice, though nothing remarkable; it’s good enough.
Flowery, estery *mild* hops. Dry, biscuity malt. It’s very ordinary, but a pretty good value.
A nice, dry, slightly bubbly pale. Ordinary, pale as it should be, competent. A good deal overall.
3.1What a pale ale should be. A good balance of medium bodied sweet malt flavor which blends into a slight bitter hop ending.
2.8There is the subtle aroma of wheat and hops, but not much. The hops come at the end with some bitterness no sweetness at all. It pours a little darker, more amber than golden. It’s okay, but not great.
3.212 oz. bottle via trade with j12601 - Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a one finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Aroma is herbal and pine hops. Flavor is much of the same. Finish is slightly dry and the hops linger. Medium body. A decent beer. Thanks Jay.
3.1Intense golden colour. Great aroma of the crisp bitterness. Sweet malt finish with a nice union with hoppy bite.
2.9Sort of thin and weak, some nice hops off the slides off the tongue. Grassy, mildly bitter. Nothing too interesting.
3.412 ounce bottle courtesy of j12601. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Malty aroma with a bit of herbal hops. Taste is leafy, citrus hops. Slightly bitter. Medium bodied. Tasty.
3.212oz bottle -pours a rich light tan head and amber color. Aroma is resin/herbal, medium malt-caramel. After ½ minute the nose falls apart. Taste is herbal, medium malt-caramel. Mild/malty.
3.4Pours copper with a tan head. Smells of caramel, some floral hints. Tastes of floral hops and earthy with a caramelly finish.
3.5Bottle. Pours a clear dirty orange with a small white head. Aroma is quite malty, lots of caramel malt, some raisin. Flavor of more bland caramel malt, some light citrus hops and tropical fruits in the finish. Decent and drinkable, better than the average suggests (sure, it’s not spectacular but it’s pretty solid).

3.7Bottle, best by February, I can only imagine of 2010. Aroma of largely toasted malt with loads of marmalade. Flavor keeps the toasted malt going, though gets a little sweeter than pure toast, with hop notes that are gentle but notable and becoming more leafy and floral. I actually quite like it.
3.212 oz bottle. Aromas of pine, like most pale ales. Tastes like an average pale. Very satisfying and thirst quenching, but very ordinary.
2.2Bottle: pours dark amber with a thin white head, aroma is pretty grainy, taste is sweet and lightly malty, a very mild bite in the finish. Nothing special here.
