Landbier, AKA “House Lager,” pulls inspiration from the numerous country lagers or landbiers found in Franconia. Don’t let the name House Lager fool you—sweet and golden with a full, malty body—this is a special beer for year-round enjoyment.

3.2Can from Bierbaum De Pijp, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy malt with straw. Mild sweetish and light bitter flavour, medium body. Lacks a little depth, but good unfiltered Lager.
3.6Slightly hazy gold with a big white head. Aroma of grass and biscuit malt. Taste slightly sweet but with some faint bitterness. Pleasant and slightly bucolic, presumably as intended.
3.5Crisp yet malty lager.
3.3Can from the sampler box. Nose bit rustic, straw, Munichy bread crusts, citrus, grain. Pour rich but opaque golden with a soapy bright white head. Taste half-dry, low bitterness, squeaky-clean, strongly grainy with low citrus, very bright and fresh, lots of fresh bread and fresh grain, golden malt. Clean and well-crafted with a little crispy snap. Full body without heaviness, medium mineral, stays half-dry throughout, very good (recommendable, even!) but doesn't get into satisfaction territory, there's an itch it just can't scratch. 3.616 oz can. Pours a cloudy bright gold with a medium white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Scents of citrus, grass and malts. Great flavors of malt, bread, crackers with a good hops bite. These guys make great beer.
3.5Very hazy golden coloured body with a nice, slightly soapy white head on top. Aroma of grass and very mild hay and subdued herbal elements with a light dose of the yeast and some more mellow scents. Light-bodied; Very soft and structured malts with some biscuits, a dose of yeast and grain with a touch of grasses and hay with a light sweetness and fresh apple and pear flavour towards the end. Aftertaste shows some grasses with hay, light coriander seed freshness and ending with a good biscuity and fresh canned corn flavour with some sweetness and a robust fresh, clean bite at the very end. Overall, a nice and soft beer with a great biscuity and malty bite with some yeast, dry flavours and complex malt notes showing through on top of some light sweetness and structured very mellow fruit flavours without much hops at all. Nice to sample and very mild throughout, quite easy-to-drink during the summertime especially! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,00 sampled in my hotel room in Orlando, Florida on 06-May-2018.
3.616 oz. can. Canned on 03/26/18. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, over an effervescent, clear light gold (SRM 4) body......nose is toasted malts with bread, cracker tones, slight caramel hints, mild floral, herbal tones from the hops, balance to the malts.....taste is initially slightly sweet tones, toasted malts with cracker notes, becoming dry with herbal/spice hop tones and moderate hop bitterness, no esters, balanced......mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. The beer is quite clean throughout, with adequate contribution from both the malt and hop backbones to meet the style quite nicely. It is a refreshing and drinkable beer. BJCP 8/3/15/4/8
