1.7Given to me for free at beer store when buying real pumpkin beers. This is busch heavy with a dash of old flat allspice. Drain pour. I wouldve drank it but i have a large backlog of beer to try and its a waste of time.
2.8Reviewed from notes.
Pours brown with an off white head. Smell brings forward some spicing, and it’s not too overly done; just a bit. A bit of caramel and a bit of brown sugar. Taste brings more spices. Feel is medium with moderate carbonation. Drinks fairly well and isn’t a terrible representation of the style.

3.4Amber pour. The nose is intensely spicy with lots of cinnamon and clove over a nice amber malt base. A little bit of sweet malt aroma as well. Fortunately the flavour is nowhere as sweet as it smells. Medium-bodied. A nice lingering sweet spiciness with a kiss of lingering earthiness on the back. Well-balanced and quite tasty. Not a bad pumpkin ale at all.
2.7Had this beer about 3 years ago at a halloween party. Decent overall beer with a pumpkin spice to it. Aroma is obviously pumpkin spice
2.4Poured into a pint glass.
4.0 A: Reasonably attractive. Nice frothy head with decent retention. Orange amber in color. Decent amount of lacing.
3.5 S: Pumpkin pie with all the spices (cinnamon foremost). Sweet malty tones.
3.0 T: Surprisingly not too bad. Not the greatest beer backbone, but alright. Bready malts and a hint of hop bitterness. Spiced, but not overly so (I like overspiced pumpkin beers).
2.0 M: Light body. Good carbonation, just not hearty enough. I like thick, chewy pumpkin beers. This one disappoints in that regard.
3.0 D: Not terrible, but not something I’d want to drink much of.
I’m surprised I like this as much as I do. Michelobe has to be one of the worst brands in beer.
P.S. I didn’t buy this, it was a gift. I feel compelled to mention that.

2.3Copper/orange in color. Clear. Tons of bubbles rising. White, fizzy, thin head that hung around for only a short minute, then settled to a thin ring. A bit of lacing. Sweet smelling malt. Cinnamon and gingerbread. Not getting a whole lot of the pumpkin. Some is there, but not much. The sweet smell is a touch overpowering to me. A little more of the pumpkin in the taste, but it seems to be dominated by the cinnamon and ginger. Some additional spices of somekind. Maybe the clove. Just a bit too sweet for my liking. It does taste a bit artificial to me also. Adjuncts, I guess? Medium/thin mouthfeel. Doesn’t leave an over abundance on the palate. It is smooth, but it is also mostly watery. This is a brew that I will probably never drink again. Too sweet and artificial tasting. Some may find it enjoyable, but I just don’t care for it.
2.5Clear orange-amber with a small white head. Smells like caramel malt and toejam with spices. Taste is a little pumpkin spice (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger...), but mostly its sweet malt. Body is closer to medium than I’d expect, given the brewer, but it feels like its leaving a chalky film on the back of my teeth. It’s definitely one of A-Bs better beers, but I still wouldn’t go so far as to call it good.
2.2smells like wet dog. grain, wish it had more flavor, but it’s okay. decent for a cheap pumpkin beer.
2.9Has a small head with decent lacing. Bright orange in color. Taste like a lager with a hint of pumpkin and cinnamon. Beer was highly carbonated, watery and thin bodied. Overall a good beer to have while watching a movie but could not drink all night.
3.6Purchased from "Kellers IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - Alright, this one poured an orangw brew with a rapid fading white head and a strong pumpkin pie aroma! Tastewise, it lacked a lot of body, but the upfront taste was fine!
2.6Light amber in color, tiny white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of caramel malts, pumpkin, and spice. Flavor is pretty much the same. A little watery and thin on he palate, but thats what I would expect from Anheuser-Busch. Not great but not bad.
3.4Light gold pour with a slightly off-white head. The nose is malty with notes of pumpkin and clove. The light body has a mildly sweet taste. Not bad.
2.4Light spice aroma, little bit of cinnamon and just a hint of maltiness. Light bodied, hint of sweetness. Somewhat unpleasant painty aftertaste. Bland and unimpressive.
2.5Clear, light orange in color with an off white head. Typical pumpkin ale aromas, although subdued. Thin, watery, lacks real flavor. Honestly, better than I was expecting. That doesn’t mean it was good, though.
3.2Pure amber, medium head, moderate lacing. Moderate pumpkin and spice notes, and some bready malt aromas. Lots of carbonation, medium mouthfeel, sweet maltiness up front with decent spicing on the finish. Not bad, not great. Too sweet, a little bland overall, drinkable but not very interesting.
2.912 oz. bottle. Has a taste of spice and nutmeg. Appearance had a small head it has a bright orange appearance with decent lacing. Taste like a lager with hint of pumpkin and cinnamon. It was highly carbonated/ watery and thin bodied. Overall was a refreshing beer to have while watching a movie. Could not drink all night though.
2.7Pours deep gold with white head. Spicy nutmeg aroma. Flavor what you’d expect...cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice, pumpkin, spicy caramel malt. Sweet but not too sweet. Taste is a little artificial but not bad. Thin palate...that’s the biggest downfall of this. Overall it’s pretty good, not great. Would I buy again...eh, maybe.
2.9On tap at Bobalouise
Appearance: Clear copper with a nice off-white head and some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Pumpkin spices
Taste: Sweet spices, sugary, bready and malty
Decent pumpkin spice ale.
2.2Orange copper color with a fizzy white head. No lacing. The aroma is strong nutmeg cinnamon, ginger, and pumpkin. The flavor is a lot weaker than the aroma suggests, with some pumpkin, sweet corny malt, and not much else. Tastes like a Coors with spices. Just now realized this is made by AB. Well, that explains it. Wet, sweet finish with barely any carbonation.
2.9Draft at Universal (Orlando, FL). Pours a clear reddish orange color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma has a decent amount of spices: nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, etc. with the actual pumpkin less noticeable up front. Decent flavor. Good maltiness.
2.8Lots of spices. No head, little aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, all spice. Flavor of sweet nutmeg and spices, coriander, all spice, very malty! Dry finish and spiciness left lingering for awhile. The spices do the trick for me here. Makes me want to try more pumpkin brews.
3.7Not a lot of aroma, but this is a really pretty beer! Crystal clear copper with a white head. A smooth malt base spiked with pumpkin and spice, cinnamon and nutmeg noticably standing out. Some light hops balancing in the background, but not getting in the way of the delicious pumpkin flavor. The label’s changed a bit this year (2010), but the beer doesn’t seem to have. This is a really solid pumpkin ale that doesn’t overdo the flavors like some do and could even go a bit further with it (but given who makes it, I doubt that will happen). Good job A-B!
2.5Tasted from a 12 ounce bottle purchased in Denver, Colorado. Light amber appearance, not much of a head. Weak spice aroma and body. Actually a bit of a citrus taste. Poor pumpkin beer.
4.1Spiceness comes through in the aroma - nice. The color matches the pumpkin character. The taste is laden with spice - ah, yes. The head is large when the ale is at the right temperature. If it’s too cold, there is no head. No lacing. Body is medium with a texture somewhere between thin and creamy but not oily. Enjoy.
After my rating, this good brew went up one point. The tipping point was reached. This is a lesson in how important one person, vote, decision can be.
3.0Dark yellow (or light amber), not a lot of head. Aroma of spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. - not much pumpkin there. Taste of spices too - same thing. There may be some pumpkin there, but it’s far in the background. That said, it’s actually a nice fall beer, though the fact it’s a "pumpkin beer" seems a bit misleading.
3.2The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of caramel malt, cloves and cinnamon. The flavor is dominated by a strong cinnamon component, but I also get some toffee, nutmeg and cloves. There is not too much pumpkin flavor in the beer, and what is there is overshadowed by the spices. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
3.012 oz Bottle -- Pours translucent orange-amber with a small off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin, red hots, oranges, and something resembling gummy candy. Very thin palate that is mainly sweet and smooth. Very easy drinking with pleasant flavors but far too light.
2.9I wasn’t expecting much at all from Anheuser-Busch... but it does have some drinkability. Light orange color with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a film top and thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some corn, light pumpkin pie filling and orange zest. Taste is light bodied, lots of LIGHT flavors of malt, light pumpkin, a touch of ginger and cinnamon. Finish is watery, crisp with some light pumpkin and golden grain malt aftertaste. A good transition beer for a novice.
