Jacobsen Golden Naked Christmas Ale

Jacobsen Golden Naked Christmas Ale

3.8 22-11-2018; bottle; at home (bought at an unknown location). The looks of the beer are very nice. The color of the beer is a nice ruby red glow. The color is also a deep ruby red, approaching amber. On top of the beer there is a nice layer of soft light brown foam. Foam retention is average. Not bad. The aroma of the beer is interesting. It is very nice. It is interesting too. There are some nice malts. The malt aroma is interesting. It is mild and soft, very nice. The hops are interesting. They give nice spicy aromas. There is also a nice fruity touch, some cherry. A nice fruity spicy aroma is a real Christmas touch. I like it. It is quite unique, I can't think of a beer like this. The taste of the beer is also very nice. Nice sweet malts, bitter hops, fruity touch. Very interesting yeast esters, that bring great balance. The beer has some interesting things, that I can't name clearly. But, it is very nice. It is worth a try. The palate of the beer is also nice. Medium body, smooth texture, medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is nice. Nice fruity yeast esters, nice herbal hops; sweet touch of malts. Very nice beer. I like it.

3.5 Rigtig god juleøl til prisen, absolut en af mine favoritter, rund, frugtig og juleagtig. Smagsoplevelsen er sødlig, duften er ristet med anelser af appelsin, citron, kanel og lakrids.

2.8 On tap @Ølfred - Aarhus Streetfood. Pours clear brown, with small white head. The scent has prunes and rye in it. The taste is really sweet, of dates, a hint of vanilla. Way too sweet.
3.1 Clear, copper colored beer with a one finger high, creamy head that leaves lacing on the glass. Nose: Caramel malt, fudge, dried fruit and butter. Taste: Roasted malt, burned sugar, red berries, anise, brown sugar, raisin, alcohol, cinnamon and orange peel. Mouth: Medium body and high carbonation. Light bitter the end.
