Dark brown body with firm darkbeige head.
Malty aroma with some coffee and fruitiness.
Rather dry palate with a surprising bitterness for a porter. A bit thin taste though.
2.9Flaska från SB. Rubinbrun vätska med lågt skum. Kaffedoft och lite bränt bildäck. Cigarrsmak, torr, lite sur. Spritsig munkänsla. Kort eftersmak.

Aromas of dark malts, hints of chocolate, hay, barnyard
Taste has bitter chocolate dark malts, tar
4.0Sweet, tasty and fruity aroma. The flavor of black malt, oats, a little licorice and coffee. A good and great bitterness finishes the beer that stays long in the mouth’s upper part. This is a classical type Jämtlands brewing of beer. The freshness of the beer makes it really good to be enjoyed! Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
3.4Bottled 500ml. -Brownish coloured, small almost brown head, mild nose. Slight roasted malt, fruits and some caramel with notes of hops. No trace of oatmeal but the beer itself is quite different...and good.
3.950cl bottle thanks to omhper. Color is very dark. Head is thin. Body is smooth as hell! Taste is medium bitter and light salty. Some nice dryness. Aroma is dried fruits, smoke, bacon, wood, coffee, roasted. Beautiful.
3.6Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours dark brown with a small frothy tan head. Aroma has oats, milk chocolate, red berries, vanilla, light licorice. Taste is light licorice up front, roasted chocolate with a light bitterness, smooth and light finish.
3.8Bottle, thanks to _angst_! Opaque black liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of flowery hops, coffee, bread, chocolate, oats, fruity candy and nuts. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of chocolate, bread, oats and fruity yeast esters. Full bodied with medium, spritzy carbonation. Maybe a bit over carbonated. Unexpectedly hoppy for a porter, but still really nice.
3.8Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown in color with a small tan head. Roasted coffee,
forrest berries and chocolate in aroma. Feels very soft, almost creamy, though
not that aggressive at all. Roasted coffee, bitter grapefruit perhaps and notes
of chocolate in taste. Well balanced and well hopped porter in good way. Lots of
flavor considering the low abv in this one, amazing actually. Light burnt wood,
citrus juicyness and bitter chocolatey aftertaste.
3.8En herlig og god mørk Porter. Absolutt passe røyksmak, verken for mye eller for lite. Deilig! Kjøpt på Systembolaget inne i Strömstad sentrum.

3.9Flaska från Systembolaget . Nästan kolsvart med fin skumkrona , ganska mycket kolsyra vilket jag gillar! Lite toner av choklad.
3.4Appearance: Black color with a finger frothy beige head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Dark malt, coffee, chocolate and fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft to average carbonation. Dry and creamy texture.
Taste: Dark malt, mild coffee and some chocolate.
Overall impression: Nothing wrong with this one, but the flavor felt a little bit to soft and mild.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden.
3.4(Bottle). Vaguely smoky aroma with hints of roasted malt, wheat, sweet coffee and dried fruit. The taste is smooth and hoppy fresh with flavors of roasted malt and chocolate, roasted bitterness in the finish. A bit light body, but by and large a nice beer!
3.6Bottle from Systembolaget, Askim, Sweden.
Dark brown with a beige head.
Nose: Oatmeal, smoke, soy sauce, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and tobacco.
Taste: Light taste of malt, caramell, soy sauce, tobacco, milk chocolate and hops.
A medium body and little carbonation.
I like the "smoky" feeling but dislike the thin body.
3.0Porter 500ml bottle shared by blomster @RBWG-JAX Grand Tasting-tan-copper. A-soft med malt. T-soft roasty med malt, some metallic? Overcarbonated.
3.6Bottle, rated from backlog. Dark brown with huge off-white head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, caramel, toffee, chocolate and oats. Rich and a bit creamy - nice
3.2Stuffed deer heads on walls are bad enough, but it’s worse when you see them wearing dark glasses, having streamers around their necks and a hat on their antlers. Because then you know they were enjoying themselves at a party when they were shot.
3.1Bottle sharedat RBWG, poured abrown color with aromas of leaves, light roast, some peat, earth, and some light metal. Flavors are light roast with a light off taste I cant put my finger on. Light tea thrown in there as well.
3.2Pours a clear reddish brown from the bottle with thin tan head and little to no lacing. Aroma of oatmeal, doughy bread, and slight soy sauce. Taste follows, add a bit of nut brown malt and some toasted barley. Thin on the mouth and easy to drink, but that’s to be expected with the abv. This has a lot better rating than I felt it deserves, nothing special.
3.1500mL thanks to blomster. Pours a clear deep red with a whiter head than expected. Good formation and webbier lacing. Nose is sweet lemon tea, mild smoke, soy, cantaloupe, saltwater. Odd combination. Taste is very light, thin with lemon tea, ash, harsher metallic notes. A bit doggy/wet dog in aroma. Clean palate but thin and tea like. Not what I was expecting :/
3.4Bottle at RBWG 2013 Grand Tasting. Pours clear brown with a foamy tan head. Semi-dark malt nose, some caramel. Light sweet flavor, some toasty leaves, bread, light dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation, light dryness to finish, mild earth, dry cocoa.mdecent.
2.9This bottled brew from a rating party poured a head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation hazy brown colored body. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a mellow mild malty aftertaste. The smooth flavor contained notes of mild nut brown malt and bread dough. An OK brew just nothing special.
3.7Dark brown with light brown head - Roasted malt aroma - Good roasted malt body with some bitterness from the roasted malt - Long lingering roasted malt bitter finish - this was good
3.7Bottle thanks to blomster, pours a dark brown/black with a slight amber hue and a medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, pepper, oats, slight roast, and a mild bitter tobacco. Light thin texture, taste of milk chocolate, bitter dry hops, fruits, pepper, and finishing with mild mellow leather and tobacco. Damn solid Porter!
