3.9 Hazlenut colour. Creamy head with classic amber malt flavour and long creamy nutty finish
3.1 Average ale that can be forgotten after the last sip. But it’s beautiful to watch.
3.0 Slightly tangy, mildly sweet, very light bodied. Almost syrupy, more of a sipper. Not such an easy drinker.
2.6 Bottle from bws broadbeach, australia. Clear amber color, tanned head. Aroma is rich malty, some hoppy notes. Malty body, too sweet, burnt barley notes.
2.3 Bottle into large wheat beer glass. Dark amber w a thin head. Minimal nutty and barny aroma. Similar taste w a slightly unpleasant sweaty sock aftertaste.

2.9 Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Cleara roma of malt, caramel and yeast, with some hoppy notes. Sweetish, fruity and malty flavour, with rather faint touches of yeast and notes of hops and leaves. Rather watery despite the lively carbonation. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Okay but nithing really impresssive.

2.6 Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Small head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, little grass and hops.
3.0 34.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted and breadish. Dry and roasted malty flavoured. Vague metallic. Roasted breadish malty finish.
2.7 It’s an amber. Tasted a bit bland and lager-like but it was ok. Better than some of the bigger multinational offerings available.
3.1 Pint bottle into glass. Burnt malt nose. A little toffee. Deep amber /red. Substantial cream coloured head. Burnt roasted toffee taste with a fresh slight bitter finish. This is a nice beer. I have seen this on tap occasionally in Sydney.
3.0 Nice amber coloured and clear. Has a white head. Sweet aroma, malty notes, toasted. Flavor starts sweet, more toasted notes plus faint nutty.
3.3 While in Australia suggestion from a friend here. Nice surprise, when reading amber ale was expecting something stronger. Well, not, totally smooth, fruity and malty, and easy to drink. A nice red one, would love to drink it again, in Europe !
3.0 This one has been a surprise, for an amber ale probably a bit on the weaker/lighter side for expectations but smooth, with some chocolate and burnt oats, lovely head, very easy to drink but a relatively subtle flavour. I think this is a ok one albeit a bitsa a bit of this a bit of that that not really fits strictly into a category, re-rated.
3.4 Bottle at Tight Restaurant, Copenhagen - amber pour with off-white head. Fruity and malty aroma and taste, some caramel malts, light fudge toffee, nutty, some twiggy hop bite, not bad.
2.8 Bottle. Caramel, toffee, ripe mid-fruits, biscuity and bready malts with a subtle grassy, pithy hop bite. A solid, malt-forward effort but has a little too much emphasis on sweetness that borders on a pasteurised character. Medium in body with medium carbonation and fine length bittersweetness in the finish.
3.6 Maybe best beer that I had in Australia. I tried over 10 beer but this is the lowest citrus aroma in this country.
3.0 345mL bottle BB 4/9/14 Had many, many of these over the years, just never got around to reviewing it! Pale amber beer, decent clarity, creamy off-white head. Somewhat restrained aroma; nutty, biscuity, toffee crystal malts dominant, some earthy hop character in there. Medium bodied, decent carbonation, dry overall. Delivers a palate with a good balance of nutty, toffee crystal malt sweetness and earthy hop character & moderate bitterness. A very drinkable Amber, it must be said.
2.9 On tap at Alfredo’s Pizza, Fortitude Valley. Dark brown, with a thick fuzzy head. Nose of stinky fruit and brown sugar, little hop tickle. Medium body, slightly sticky. Taste was a bit stale and unbalanced, but there were some decent malt, molasses and prune flavours in there trying to get out. Worth and other chance maybe.
4.7 Doesn’t come any better than this. Has great taste and palate, why go back to the boring mainstream beers when you can this this most places? Costs a touch more, but well and truly worth it.
3.0 From a bottle. Much better than I had expected, well balanced and smooth. It’s a good option at most bars.
4.1 Nice honey aroma with hints of caramel. Dark brown colour with reasonable head. Malty caramel flavor with nice finish. Light body with medium carbonation.
3.9 Very nice Amber ale. Has a nice caramel citrus aroma, amber orange colour as an amber ale should be. Very nice taste, mild caramel toffee flavours. Id rate this as one of the better beers in the squires range. If not one of the best i’ve had in that range.
1.3 Bottle. Amber, white head. Nose is metal and bread, flavour is like crunching down on the coin in a casilopita, wtf is this... it doesn’t expire until November so it’s not particularly old. Even my macro-drinking wife couldn’t handle it. I’m convinced they bottled a bad batch.
