3.7 Robe ambré clair limpide, mousse ok, beige, tons roux, carbo ok.
2.6 Bottle many thx to makoijelena cons 2021-08-15 Göteborg AR: dried fruity, dust AP: clear coppery, frothy white steady head F: dried fruity, rich carbonated, wee peachy
3.3 Can 33cl. Light amber colour with a medium off white head that fades rather quickly. Aroma is as expected mostly dry hops with a faint hint of malts. The taste is bitter, almost metallic and dry. There is little development in the taste.
4.1 330 ml bottle, at Grand Café-Restaurant Loos, Rotterdam. " A very good choice, Sir" said the waiter, and he was damn right. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of American hops, with notes of oranges, grapefruit and pine. Pleasant and well balanced flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, and not too bitter despite its 70 IBU. Went well with my sole meunière and frites.
3.8 Strong IPA, not to be underestimated. Aftertaste is profound, some people would even call it delightful. Better than Average Joe
3.6 A bit hazy golden color with off-white head. Aroma has grapefruit, pine and resin. Taste is malty sweet with long bitter and quite sweet aftertaste. Flavors of grapefruit, pine, resin and malt.
W aromacie karmel, miód gryczany i niemal niewyczuwalne nuty kwiatowe. W smaku słodkie, słodowe, karmelowe, lekko kwaśne na finiszu, typowa old school'owa IPA. Dosyć szybko atakuje średnia goryczka, niestety łodygowa i nieco zalegająca.
3.6 Bottle from Beer52. BBE June 2022; Drank May 2021 - Hazy orangey gold. Good white head. Citrus and tropical fruity, orange, stone fruits. Moderate hop bitterness, piney hops. Caramel malty, bready. Quite dry. Bittersweet. Not bad. (2021-05)
3.1 Too sweet finish for an IPA.
3.6 From a can. Bbd 5/2021. Pours slightly hazy orange/blonde with white quickly dissappearing head. Citrus, grapefruit on the nose. Pine resin, grapefruit and a little hopbitter. Not too bitter nor sweet, perfectly balanced. A very nice IPA for drinking in the sun.
4.2 Beste Nederlandse IPA
3.4 Bottle 330ml at home. From Alko web shop. Pours clear golden orange with off white head. Flavor has malts, onneksi, grapefruit, gras, fruity hops. Medium body, average carbonation, bitter finish. Original rating 8-3-8-3-15 from tap at OlutExpo 2015-10-24.
3.8 Bottle from an online shop drunk while preparing Chateaubriand steaks. Orange amber hazy, mild piney malty nose. Flavor is very nicely balanced, doesn't burn you out with bitterness. Orange peel, grapefruit, smooth pine needles, fresh! I really like this one for its high but enjoyable bitterness.
3.5 Malt and caramel with a orange peel citrus tang. Herbaceous aroma. Big hop profile and boozy aftertaste. Very nice.
3.7 Less than 4.0 but more than 3.75. Nose is sweet-tropical fruits, taste is more zesty and dry. Finish is bitter dry with a fruity touch.
Nez résine, pin, caramel, bonbon pin ds vosges. Bouche amère, léger sucre, résineux, pin, pamplemousse, agrumes. Bonne carbo, corps légèrement liquoreux, bonne longueur. Belle IPA old school.
4.0 Clear amber colour with white foamy head. Smell of tangerine. Taste of malt, orange, tangerine and hoppy bitterness, that almost lingers around your tongue. Really nice
3.7 Aroma of mild bitter hops and mild orange Clear amber colour with small short lasting head Taste of sweet malt, mild hops with a nice lasting bitterness Foamy oily mouthfeel with mild carbonation Very malty but nice
4.5 Goudgeel / amberkleurig licht wazig bier.
3.7 Bottle from Beer 52 Has a strange (but pleasant) aroma of malts mixed with orange and lime. Pours a clear pale orange with a very transient white head. In the mouth there is a lovely hoppy bitterness with underlying malt character. Some honey and pine resin plus hints of citrus. The hops dominate in the finish. Very nice indeed.
3.5 Pours a golden color with white head. Floral aroma and taste. Just fine. Notes: bottle from NL, Aug ‘20
2.6 Aug 2020. 330ml brown bottle, modest residue, from Beer52. An American IPA, fairly modest, but enough hops to generate a mild burn on the lips. Malt tastes old and tired as much American IPAs do - perhaps it's the combination of the lab yeast and the closed fermentation, the result is a rather lifeless malt. Yeasts need a chance to develop in a particular environment, and a genuine character is then created, particularly with open fermentation. This is drinkable, but a little sombre for me, and lacking in distinction and in character. [2.5] Dec 2018. 330ml dark bottle from BeerWulf. A hoppy pale beer with citric fruit flavours. Not aggressive and quite drinkable. A bit boring, and more of a fruit juice than a beer. One day this fad for citric fruit flavouring will pass, and there will be a return to serious consideration of the heart of a beer - the magic marriage of malt and yeast. [2.6]
3.3 For me this beer tastes as a mix of american and belgian IPA. The fresh hoppy tastes of the american IPA and the sweetness and the herbs of the belgian IPA. For me, to much sweetness but still a nice beer to drink. A bit thin though.
