3.3 Draft. Clear golden body with medium white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, nectarine, some carrot cake, light nutmeg. Taste is moderately sweet, nutmeg, light orange, allspice. Medium body, light resin.
3.1 Kind of a sweet aroma of chewable Flintstones but in a good way. The flavor was a little disappointing with none of the flavors mentioned. It was more like a regular blond. A bit thin, but tasty.

3.1 Draught at Taphouse. Clear golden colored with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of caramel, spices and carrot cake. Fruity flavor of caramel, spices and carrot cake with notes of hops. Spicy finish.
2.8 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with a thin head. Low carbonation with strong banana yeast flavour and lots of spices in the finish. Overall this is not up to Stone’s normal quality threshold. It feels like they were trying to hard to fit a certain flavor profile and ended up with an overspiced mediocre Belgian strong ale.
4.1 On tap in Berlin. I really like this one. The wife thought it tasted like gluhwein. I could taste the spices, and enough sweetness to balance. It did feel like a cake...good call on ordering this instead of dessert.
3.3 This poured a near clear gold with a white head. Nose is of all things carrot cake. And cinnamon. Medium body. Mouth feel is spicy. Flavor is somewhat the carrot cake but the cinnamon is overwhelming here. I think there supposed to be some vanilla here it is hard to pick over the cinnamon. Finishes spicy, I really wanted to like this but did not much care for it. A disappointment. Second time with this. This time shared with Strykzone. We have both had i before. I get the same big blast of cinnamon to start with. then it moves to carrot cake. However, I let this one warm more and it smooths out some at the end.
2.5 On tap at Taphouse. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity and spicy aroma with cinnamon in particular. Sweet malty and spicy flavour with an earthy touch
3.4 Bottle @home (Euro-vision 2016 tasting.) Pours golden with a white head. Nose is spicy, pepper, cinnamon some raisin, it does smell a bit like carrot cake just not a good carrot carrot cake. taste is toffee, caramel, orange.
3.8 Pours up a hazy orange gold with a white head. Definitely smells Belgian and sweet. Sugar sweetness comes through immediately with a pumpkin pie like spice array followed by a distinct Belgian yeast. Much better after it sits out and breathes for a while. Great at a higher temperature. It gets smoother and more complex. Finishes with that same combination. Just like real gold, this beer is better than money in the bank!! I enjoy it!
3.4 Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (Stone TTO 27/11/2016) -golden orange pour with white head.Malty wheaty and fruity with prominent notes of carrot, pretty sweet, with some light spices into the close.
2.9 Botella @Cimmeria, Oviedo 24/09/2016 Color amarillo dorado, sabor especiado, levadura, muy especiada.
3.5 22fl oz bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 24-09-2016. Bottled: 23-09-2015. In short: spicy bitter golden ale. Pours little hazy dark gold with frothy white head. Moderate head retention, good lacing. Spicy, malty, herbal nose. Medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is herbal, spicy, some harsh bitter finish. Carrot not detected.
3.2 Big American brown bottle. Pours medium golden amber and medium translucent with a thin foam subsiding quickly. Scent is light Belgian dubbel style ale. Taste is Medium Belgian ale and maybe brown sugar. Extra flavors are a bit overpowering. Good harvest ale.
3.8 Rating #2157 - 2015.11.09 - Draught @revolutionyyc - Pours a golden straw colour with a white foam that bubbles away quickly. Aroma is carrot cake, cinnamon, raisin. Taste is quite smooth, boozy Belgian blonde qualities, punch of spicy sweetness that just screams Carrot Cake. Danger Duck.
3.4 Draft at Bittercreek... Pours lightly hazed dark golden.. okay head.. Spicy notes work well with the earthy carrot.. Surprisingly good. Obviously reminiscent of carrot cake.. I hate how well this works in a liquid form.. Super tasty and a taster was more than enough.
2.7 On Tap at BitterCreek, Boise Well, its golden Thin creamy off white head. Pale golden malt flavors. Spicy and floral. ABV kick and a lingering flowery spice. Strange.
3.2 Pours clear dark golden color with white head. Smells and tastes very similar to carrot cake. Medium body with average carbonation.
3.6 Great golden yellow color with sizeable head. Smells of Belgian yeast, malt, sweetness, perhaps a hint of carrot. Tastes like a typical Belgian ale, a little bit of carrot, spices and vanilla at the end. Pretty smooth.
3.5 From tap at CBC 2016. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, yeast, fruit and alcohol.
3.3 Bottle. A golden color with a white head. The carrot cake and sweet aroma that was a little over the top. The Belgian style was a bit muted in all of the spices. It felt more like a dessert beer (although not heavy).
4.1 Mal was für echte Crafties, wer sonst will Karotte in seinem Bier !? Stumpf, holzherbal & durchaus pischkratzig????
1.3 Keg @ Bishops Arms, Hornsgatan. Hazy pale straw golden, small white head, weak lacing. Spicy aroma, glue, booze, carrot cake, harsh vanilla and cinnamon. Harsh mouthfeel from the blend of spices. This doesn’t blend well, carrot, vegetable soup, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
3.6 Tap at CBC 2016 Yellow session. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is sweet alcoholic malt, light orange citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet with a zesty fruit, sweet malt, alcoholic sugary palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Tasted stronger that it was. Quite unusual.
3.2 660ml bottle from Brewdog shop. Small white head, just little dots of lacing. Clear golden body. Nose is yeast, carrot, vanilla icing. Flavour is carrot, bread, raisin, cinnamon, a bit boozy towards the end. Light carbonation, good mouthfeel, decent chew, slightly oily finish. It sets out what it intends to do but as a beer it’s a bit of a mess.
3.9 Hazy pale amber. Nose of Belgian yeast with mild vanilla and carrot. Flavor is more Belgian yeast and spice with vanilla, cinnamon, and sweet carrot.
3.2 pours into a golden orange body with a crisp white head. aroma isn’t too strong but still very noticeable, it is a mixture of floral and cake. the flavor itself is very similar to that of carrot cake.
3.4 CBC 2016 Yellow session. Orange body wiyth a minimal head. Aroma of pale malt, pear, spicy yeast. Taste is mild fruity with carrot, though I doubt I’d have noticed the carrot if I didn’t know it was there. Mild vanilla sweetness, with a fruity finish with yeast esters.
4.0 a deconstructed carrot cake indeed. The sweet carrot with malt, plus a raisin and spice character. Good smell, smooth finish. Very tasty
