Aroma is gemiddeld.
3.3Bottle - Pours a hazy coppery amber colour with a small foamy beige head. Aroma is a fruity resinous burnt marmalade with a little caramel. A sweet taste, very fruity some caramel with orange marmalade and resinous piney hop bitter in the finish.
3.6Bouteille 33 cL, Saveur Bière, chez moi. Mousse blanche légère. Couleur ambre, trouble.
3.8Fles 33cl thuis. EBU 39. Fruitig (rood fruit), wat moutig, bitter, droog. Prima. (4-5-2018).

Not sure about being strong (6.5% is about smack bang in the middle for an IPA), but it's quite dark - amber body, beige-ish sort of head.
Nose is good - punchy hops with big hits of pine & sap, citrus rind, touch of passionfruit & rockmelon backed up by dark caramel & biscuity malt.
Not as big as I was expected, toward the leaner side on the palate, quite drawn out, becomes sort of savoury with a sort of burnt toffee sweetness upfront, browned bread crust which sort of melds with those prominent piney sappy hop notes eventuating in a ripe rockmelon character that lingers with a slightly rough bitterness.
Sort of all over the shop in some ways, makes for an interesting beer - sort of reminds me of something like Stone Arrogant Bastard, toned down a slight bit.
Thats probably why its called ‘carrie’. IPA is a bit stronger then usual; i like it!
3.5Bottle a amber colored beer with a white head aroma malts grapefruits citrus some caramel earthly notes tropical fruits and bitter hops flavor malts grapefruits pineapple tropical fruits caramel earthly notes and bitter hops in the aftertaste
3.4Taster on tap @ Kaapse Brouwers Rotterdam. Robe trouble. IPA assez classique.
3.2Draught at Sori Taproom. Copper color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, toffee, hops, resin, pine and a bit of mango. Bitter finish with citrus, hops, resin, mango and toffee. Okay brew.
3.2Fles.
3.5330ml bottle at De Veerkes near Tilburg. Pours clear amber brown with a white head. Aroma of malt and caramel with pine. Pine taste. Bitter finish.
3.633cl bottle. Hazy amber with a nice off-white head. Fruity, caramel, dates, toffee and citrus. Good.
3.5Brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of caramel malts. Balanced hop profile. Nicely sessionable beer.
3.4Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is of red.wine. Taste is complex, red wine, balanced, bitter finish.
3.7Dark amber body with a medium light brown head. Aroma is malty, sweet candy, light grapefruit. Taste is sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.
3.9Bottle from Pivoteka, shared with Višnja 666. Hazy amber, small off-white head. Medium to heavily hopped, fruity, toasty with some gingerbread aromas. Great balance and wonderful fruitiness, light bitterness, dry. Thick texture, medium to full body, medium carbonation, sticky lasting finish. Very nice: aromatic, balanced, full.
3.7Pours copper, huge cream head and lot of sticky lacing. Aroma of ripe fruits, caramel and dates. Taste feels similar, with dates, ripe fruits, caramel, toffee, spices, orange peel, citrus, grass and some tropical fruit notes. Barley-wineish, but with a lingering dry and bitter finish. Full bodied with mild carbonation. Not bad.
prima biertje
3.7Bottle from a supermarket in Hardinxveld. The beer is dark brown colored and has a stable creamy head, with oke carbonation.
The aroma is malty and light fruity, with a lot of caramel, dark fruits, spices, oranges and tropical fruits.
The taste is light sweet and malty, with a lot of caramel, spices and in the background spices and changes into a pleasant bitterness with nice hop notes.
The finish is bitter and light dry.
Not completely an IPA, but actually it’s nice beer.
4.3Aromas gives citrus and pines. Redish/amber collor from the caramalts. Slight sweet caramel body, refreshing hoppy, pines and citrus, nice caramel aftertaste. Not your basic IPA, makes a good pairing with bacon or meat dishes!
4.0Draught at Kaapse Brouwers. Pale orange with a medium white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Well balanced bitter and sweet tones. Pine, citrus, tangerine, tropical fruits, malts and caramel. Very good IPA.
3.9Fine beer, comparable to a lot of American counterparts in its smootness and caramel-like palatability.
3.4Clear dark orange, tanned foam head. Quite carbonated. Nice hoopy aroma and great bitter taste, fine IPA. (Velp 201701)
3.4Thanks Ivan R. and Karlo! Misty dark red. Off white head. Caramel and red berries in the heavy aroma. Nice red berry and orange-like hoppiness on dusty, heavily malty taste. Shows promise but doesn’t seem fresh. Too heavy. Good but not my type.
4.2Dark copper, very hazy stable creamy head. Very nice dank, deep hops. Beautiful juicy bitterness and clean enough too, but I mostly like the surprising balance between darker malts and loads of hop. Actually it’s the fermentation that does this, so that’s the best part. Regardless, it’s awesome. (On tap at the brewery tap room)
3.7Bottle. Hazy amber colour with stable head off. Aroma of pine, caramel. Taste of grapefruits, pine, medium sweetness, very bitter, soft carbonation, bitter aftertaste.
