3.4 Golden/orange coloured ale with a small bubbly white head. Aroma: sweet, fruity and malty. Taste: sweet, some fruit notes, caramel, some pine and some bread. Ends with some pleasant bitterness. Bitterness is very low on this one.
3.6 Bottle from saveur bieres. Copper color, white head. Citrus, dry, grapefruit, bitter finish. Sure, decided, uncoprimised. Nice
3.5 33cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, fruits, malt. Taste follows the aroma. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.4 33 cl. bottle @ my parents home, bought @ Albert Heijn Leersum. Hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy malty aroma. Medium bitter taste. Nice (American) bitter indeed.
3.2 33cl bottle from Albert Heijn, poured into a snifter on 30-Jun-2018. Hazy amber with a reddish orange hue and a few white bubbles. Aroma of cereal, fruit and pine. Light body with medium carbonation. Taste is heavy bitter with grain and cereal. Grapefruit and floral hops. Bitter fruity finish. Decent American style pale ale.
3.6 330ml bottle before a tasting at Za razBIRAchi, Ruse. Pours clear with a foamy, almost mousse head that soon settled to a surface mist, a good collar of lacing, no visible rising carbonation. Amber in colour. On the nose, citrus, driven by tangerine and orange with undertones of cereal and caramel. In the mouth, some sweetness from the first sip, smoothly fizzy with medium carbonation, mild bitterness, crisp citrus flavours consistent with the aromas, medium texture and finish. Overall, a very acceptable American Pale Ale and typical of the style.
In bocca ancora resina e biscotto.
3.7 Really fruity, citrus nose. Hoppy, bitter tones but not too much; overal a very drinkable beer
3.1 Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Hazy orange color with a small white head. Citrus and hopy nose. Aroma is citrus fruits and hoppy. Flavour is sweet bitter and dry bitter at the end. Dry citrus finish.
3.6 Bouteille 33 cL, Saveur Bière, chez moi. Couleur ambre, orange/dorée, un peu trouble. Légère mousse. Nez porté sur les agrumes. Amertume moyenne. Goût fruité, citron, pamplemousse. Fin en bouche houblonnée, relativement douce.
3.1 Nice easy to drink. Body is a bit thin. Flavor has some grassy notes, tropical fruit and hops. Not overly bitter.
3.3 Tap @ Kaapse Brouwers Rotterdam, Rotterdam XI 2018. 7-3-7-2-13 Origineel glas
3.4 Medium white head, copper chestnut, fruity hops malts peach sweet smell, medium co2 medium to high bitter malts some acid, some herb earth pine tree a bit menthol touch taste
3.3 Fles 33cl thuis. Zoetig, tropisch fruittonen, bitter, hop (Sladek, Amarillo, Columbus), dry hop (Citra, Mosaic). Wat dun. Niets bijzonders.(21-4-2018).

3.8 (Rate 03/03/18: 7-4-7-4-14 = 3.6) Bottle at restaurant across Kaapse brewpub. Pours clear dark golden to amber, with lasting near-white head. Aroma hoppy, first fruity, later more grassy. Taste firmly bitter with bitter aftertaste. OK carbo. Nice APA. (Re-rate 09/04/23: 7-4-8-4-15 = 3.8) Can, now profiled as IPA. Almost clear deep-golden pour with white head; reasonable retention. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, bit tropical, bit earthy also. Taste is moderate to medium bitter with a clear hoppyness, lasting long and firm. Nice characterful and not too easy IPA.
3.4 33cl bottle at proeflokaal Mout in Groningen. Pours a clear dark amber colour with a big soapy white head with great retention. Aroma of hops, passion fruit, hay, citrus, pale malt. 3.0 Day 15 of the Honest Brew Advent Calendar. 330ml bottle, unfiltered. Slight gushing on opening, but not too much. I do like that all the beers I've had so far from the Honest Brew box have been unfiltered. This has not always been done well, but it is a positive sign - keeping beer alive is important. This is quite a chewy malty APA - with rather more character from the malt than is common in American brewed beers (or many modern British brewed beers), so I like that. The hops, though, are a tad too much for my taste. Not completely down the tropical juice route, though, as there is some rounded character to the hops as well - probably from the use of Sladek. On the whole an interesting take on the APA, even if not completely to my taste.
3.9 Türchen #4 to the 2017 Kalea Craftbierkalender bb07/2019 (!). - - Kort: takes a UK-carbonated approach towards a Session US-APA with a crowdpleasing aroma hop cocktail and minimal Low Country yeastiness. - - Pleasing cloudy apricot milkshake pour, could almost be a session NEIPA. Clear, gently alluring fruit cocktail nose of sweet pineapple, passionfruit quark, trace of yeast. About the same in flavour with an unusually silky-flat mouthfeel which explodes gulpability, and is all too rarely tried by Low country breweries traditionally addicted to refermentation, slim malt bodies and CO2. Some polished golden maltiness shinesthrough, and residual yeast chalk in the back heightens the wet pune and grapefruit pith "bitters, while wearing the New World hops so clearly on its sleeve that American Bitter really is a novelty coverup for APA.
3.2 Goldig, leicht opal. Geruch malzig mit leichter Citrus-Hopfennase. Im Geschmack leicht grasig, sehr trocken. Moderat bitter.
3.7 0.33l bottle. Malty and hopy aroma, light citrus fruit, caramel and resin. Hazy amber to copper color, thick white head. Malty and hopy taste, resin, light citrus fruit, light caramel, medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and hopy bitter finish. Good.
3.7 Taster on tap @ Kaapse Brouwers Rotterdam. Robe pale.
3.6 Bottle from 100 piv. Aroma: citrus fruit, ripe tangerine, little bit tarty. Big long lasting head, hazy golden color, medium body. Taste: citrus, herbal, citrus hops, slightly caramel. Pretty like it
