Kaiserdom Pilsener

Our Kaiserdom-Pilsener has a distinctly fine hops bitterness with a fine creamy head; a tingly smooth taste. With an original extract of about 11% and 4.8% alcohol by vol. Kaiserdom Pils is a bottom fermented beer.

Kaiserdom-Pilsener is the pride of our brewmasters, as it has won continuous multiple high honours of the DLG.

3.0 500 ml can. Poured golden with white foam. Aroma malt and herbal. Taste is bitter with notes of herbs, some citrus and malt.

Zapach: lekko maślany i metaliczny to z wad; a poza tym wyraźnie czuć chmielem, nieco słodem - klasyka. W smaku pojawia się goryczka, która jakiś czas pozostaje na podniebieniu, ale poza zwyczajową kontrą słodową mamy jakiś dziwny mdły posmak, który nieco trąci i psuje doznania. Nie jest to mój faworyt, ale wielkiej biedy też nie ma.

2.7 Copenhagen 26/2 2017. 50 cl can from SuperBrugsen. Dark blue can with city spires, a shield and logo from "German Family Brewers". Pours clear pale yellow with big white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is not very strong. Slightly sweet malts, grass and not much else. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more dominant bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Rather generic in a clean, crisp and fairly boring way. But an ok pilsener without being outstanding.

2.9 1L can in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a light gold with a rich, creamy white head. Looks the part. Aroma of malts and grain. Taste of strong hops and grass. A bitter finish which is not unpleasant; gives it an edge. A refreshing pilsener and like all Kaiserdom efforts good for the price point.
