3.9 Flasche 50cl. Rotblondes Bier mit feinporiger, sahniger Schaumkrone. Im Antrunk sehr malzig, Röstaromen schön erkennbar. Grasig-hopfiges Tettnanger-Finish. Insgesamt sehr harmonisch und stimmig. Schade, dass die Brauerei wohl geschlossen hat. Richtig gutes Bier!
2.3 The head is medium, the body grey. It smells yeasty, barley, watery. The taste is watery, less malty. Boring. 2.3
3.9 Pours an otherwise pale straw golden with a pretty thick off-white head that settles fairly quickly to a film and ring, with a thick suspended sediment in the body, and just the tiniest splotches of lace. Nose involves light sweet pale barley malt, a fair doughy yeast, light hop spice, some fruity esters, and some crackery, biscuity malt. Pretty sweet, fairly bitter. Medium bodied, fair carb action, a bit oily, bready, with a nice clean crisp hoppy bitterness on the end. This is a really cool beer, subtle yes, but well constructed and meeting somewhere between refreshing and sustaining. Great body. Nice.
3.0 Bottle golden with white head brewery is already closed bottle is one of the last produced nice Aroma of malt taste is sweet with a little bit of hops aftertaste is slightly bitter
3.2 Rating from 2011. Hellgelbe Farbe, stabiler weißer Schaum. Hopfig-frischer Geruch. --> 12,10,11,9,12,10 - 10,30
3.8 Clear, bubbly gold with a slick-topped creamy white head. Aroma is malt, sweet grain, grass... Taste is malty vanilla.. Creamy, sweet, and light. Very tasty...nice one.
3.0 Swing top bottle, 0.50l. Clear golden color with large frothy white head, fair carbonation and soft visible carbonation. Light aroma of malt, caramel, vanilla, mild berries and grassy hops. Taste starts with moderate malty sweetness, mildly toasted, followed with lightly grassy sourness and finished with moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is spicy, while aftertaste is average long and bitter. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Pretty good, drinkable and refreshing...
2.8 Bottle shared with Yanick. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose and taste of malt, lemon, grain and corn. Lighter bodied.
2.3 Bottle. Pours clear yellow color with medium white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Tastes malty, grain medium bitter..
2.8 This beer screams average in every way. Light gold pour with an extremely thin white head. Aroma is light and uninteresting. The taste is pretty bland. it’s light and drinkable but just too forgettable!
3.0 Pours clear golden with white head. Smells of apples and vegetables. Taste follows nose with a malty backbone
3.4 Very light slightly hazy yellow with a good fizzy head. Aroma of light malt. malt.. Spicy with a citrus fruity edge. Very tasty and drinkable with a spicy hop finish. I could drink a few of these,
3.5 Pours a golden color with a medium white head. Aromas are malts, grass, pine and a frank raisin taste. A slightly hoppy bitterness. Refreshing and tasty helles.
2.9 500 ml. bottle. Pours mainly a clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and faint florals. Taste is similar. Pleasant.
2.4 gold.. not much action .. foam is low .. . corn and old kernels from a rusty can .. . not at all enjoyable, makes me very very angry, i’m gonna punch shit now .. . and not a landbier! . .. . a piece of metal stickin out of a breadbasket!
2.8 Bittle at home. Malty nose, hay notes. Clear light yellow color, two finger white head. Malty taste, light body, dry aftertaste. :) Bolton Brew.
3.5 (bottle) Deep yellow gold with slight haze. Nice white head. Rich malt aroma. Flavor was sweet thick malt with a bit of grassy hops in the finish.
3.6 Very hoppy aroma. Thick foamy white head. Heavy carbonation. Light gold. Taste of honey, melon. Light bitterness. Abrupt finish, honey. Good helles!
3.8 Shared from a tall swing-top bottle from Local Harvest into a Willybecher glass. It poured a brilliant golden color with slight chill haze, lasting white foam and excellent lace. Flavors of marshmallowy pilsner malt, very smooth noble hops bitterness, faint black pepper likely from a combination of Saaz and lager yeast. Light body, average carbonation, pleasantly chalky/mineral water mouthfeel, dry but with a faintly lingering bittersweet aftertaste. An excellent Austrian lager and classic example of the Dortmunder/Helles style.
2.3 300ml fassbier at Nikita Dal Russo. A centimeter of chalk white head at the top of a crystal clear, straw-yellow coloured body with a tint of green. Good lacing. Mild aroma of pale malts and oily hops. Dry apples, grass and grain in flavour. Dry, mid-sweet ending. Lively carbonated. Refreshing on a warm summer afternoon in Wien, 28.07.2012.
3.0 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yeloow colour. ´Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
3.5 500 ml bottle at Krah Krah in Vienna. Fullsome, malt-laden Landbier of the stronger Helles type (there ain’t no such thing as Dortmunder nowadays, if there ever was). Sweeter than many but this is not a flaw, adequate bitterness, keeps its character throughout. Edge of summer flavour.
3.5 Aroma is bready malts and mild grain sweetness. The flavor is malts, a hint of fruit and a decent hoppiness in the finish.
2.8 Hazy dark yellow with a fluffy head. Sweet fruity flavour with a lightly bitter finish.
3.1 Light yellow colour, clear liquid with lively white head, fizzy. Aroma of vegetables, earth and corn with malts and spices, a bit salty. Taste of bread, corn, yeast. A bit watery but a good helles though.
3.4 500ml swingrop bottle pours a hazy yellow with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is grassy but not skunky, with malts coming out in the satisfying warm finish. Taste is slightly bitter. Very satisfying. I’m glad to have tried this and will come back for more, even though it didn’t knock my socks off.
3.6 Tap at Hoppalas Bieradies, Vienna. Pours clear, faint yellow with a foamy, white head. Mild cereal and dough aroma. medium sweet flavor with some sharp and lightly tangy cereal, and faint hay bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean, sweet finish with cereal, crispy biscuits, faint bitters and white sugar. Basic beer and pretty good.
2.3 Not that great. Kinda tastes like cut grass but a little on the skunky side. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head that disappears quickly.
3.2 Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks.A clear golden beer with good carbonation and head. Nose is malty and caramel like. Aroma is nice sweet, malty, grainy, toasted, caramel like with round hops, some apple or cassis notes. Pleasant landbier.
