Das Kapuziner Hefeweizen hat den typischen Geruch nach Hefe und auffällig stark nach Banane. Der Schaum ist daumendick, feinporig und standfest. Die Farbe ist bernstein und trüb. Beim Antrunk ein leichter Körper mit nicht zu aufdringlicher Hefe. Der Geschmack nach Banane ist zurückhaltend und sehr frisch. Beim Abgang kommt noch grüner Apfel hinzu, was einen leckeren Ausgleich bietet. Die Kohlensäure ist für ein Weizen üppig aber in diesem Umfeld hier nicht störend. Das Bier ist wirklich maximal süffig und für heiße Sommer eine gute Wahl. Das hier verwendete Hefe ist wirklich sehr lecker und trägt maßgeblich zum guten Geschmack bei.

Color dorado intenso, tirando a ámbar. Algo turbia y con buena espuma blanca, de buena retención.
Aromas a pan, cereal y plátano sutil de fondo. De cuerpo medio/ligero y de trago fácil. Sabores que tiran más a lo dulce (plátano, fruta madura y cereal). Final muy ligeramente amargo que invita a dar otro trago.
Weissbier más que decente, refrescante y sabrosa.

Pours slightly hazy topaz with a thick and fairly persistent vellum head. Aroma yields wheat, lemon, yeasty and banana tones. Flavor brings wheat, yeast, lemon and banana with a hint of spice. Texture provides decent body and peppy fizz. Straight - and crisp - outta Bavaria.
Cloudy golden pour with a thin white head and lots of lacing …. Aroma of banana bread, spices, wheat, clove, sweet malts, fruity yeast ….. taste is of wheat, sweet malts, fruity yeast, banana bread, spicy clove, grains/cereal malts … light bodied, smooth and a little creamy …. Sweat, creamy and wheaty finish ….. very sessionable simple hefe, needed more body and mouthfeel to be rated up higher

AROMA: nice weissbier nose, banana, herbs, lightly yeasty dough, soft esters, some floral aspects, underlying grain, not bad
APPEARANCE: hazy light copper/honey amber, creamy white head, good residual
TASTE: grain, some yeast, some fruit/banana without being fruity, herbs and layer of kräuter medicine, dairy, back to grain/malt and lingering spice/herb, easy bitterness
PALATE: medium body, some bite and astringency up front, middle is oily/creamy, a bit tart and cleansing, lingering coat/feeling on the inside cheeks and gums
OVERALL: very good. looks great, pretty good nose, flavor follows the nose. not sure how to improve without taking this beer in the direction of another beer style. worthy of being taste tested with other top weissbiers.
Im Glas findet sich ein sehr trübes Bernstein bis Orange-Ocker. Die weiße, cremige Schaumkrone zeigt sich sehr flaumig und mäßig beständig.
Sehr deutliche und hefige Fruchtaromatik steigt in die Nase. Angenehme Noten von Banane und Marille, sowie ein leicht brotig-malziger Anklang lassen sich vernehmen.
Im Antrunk wirkt dieses Weizen ziemlich wässerig, bringt aber ganz gute fruchtige, sowie leicht röstige Noten mit.
Am Gaumen zeigt sich ebenso eine gewisse röstige Aromatik. Die zarten fruchtigen Hefearomen halten sich sehr im Hintergrund und auch hier muss man diesem Bier eine gewisse Wässerigkeit attestieren. Auch wenn es nicht wirklich schlecht ist, macht es einen unrunden und unkompletten Eindruck. Der Hefecharakter kommt meines Erachtens nicht so zur Geltung, wie es sich für ein gutes Weizen geziemt. So fehlen sowohl die fruchtige Komponente, als auch die weiche hefige Haptik, die zu einem besseren Mundgefühl beitragen würde. Die Süffigkeit ist zwar okay, wäre aber bei einer besseren Vollmundigkeit wesentlich besser.
Im Abgang ebenso eher schwächelnd - nicht schlecht, aber nur sehr zurückhaltend in der Aromatik.

Pours a cloudy muddy orange colour with a large thick creamy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, apples, pears and peppery spice. Taste is the same notes again with also a hint of bubblegum. Thin to medium body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Well above average flavourful Hefe. Very nice.

Kolor ciemno pomarańczowy, zmętnionu, biała puszysta piana. Nie wygląda na rasowego weissbiera. W aromacie banan, jabłko, goździk. W smaku jabłko, goździk, banan, odrobina gumy balonowej, delikatna ziołowa goryczka. Nasycenie niskie, jeśli chodzi o ciało to piłem bardziej cieliste weizeny. Ogólnie nie powala.

Nice banana clove flavor balance. Aroma prominently of banana, almost tropical. Better than the American wheats I’ve tasted. Excellent body or thickness. Good summer beverage.
0,5l flip-top bottle from local store in Dortmund, drinking it on 25/07/2021 BB 16.03.22 Pours hazy, full orange body with good white foam on top and ok lacing. Aroma is intense and strongly yeasty, with banana, cloves, flowers, vanilla, fruits and wheat notes, not different from most weiss beers but quite strong. Taste is very pleasant and refreshing, not excessively sweet neither sour but quite balanced and tasty with banana, yeast, citrus, orange, tangerine, mild wheat. Not too spicy, quite fruited and enjoyable, really like this one. Medium body and very slightly oily texture, moderate carbonation. Tasty, easy finish. For a weiss, this one is quite a winner.

Great taste of wheat beer. A bit low on carbonation. Drinkable and not strong. Fine taste. Recommended. Nice photo on a label.

Old rating from 11-05-16 - 500ml bottle from a supermarket in Berlin. Pours a hazy light orange colour with a lovely foamy head that leaves lacings. Aromas of banana, clove & wheat. Tastes of banana, peach, mild citrus, clove & wheat. Aftertaste is of a mild banana wheat bitterness. Overall much better than I expected, and one I could have had a second of quite easy.
0,5 bottle. Classic bottle, classic look. Large white foam, durable. Opaque orange color, unfiltered. Banana, yeasty real wheat beer aroma with a little citrus in the background. The taste is also predominantly banana, full-bodied, wheat, yeasty, bread, very good. Next to it is citrus, fruity, fresh. I can't say anything bad about that. Very good, full-bodied, hit classic wheat beer, I recommend!

Klasszikus kiszerelés, klaszikus kinézet. Nagy fehér hab, tartós. Opálos narancsos szín, szűretlen. Banános, élesztős igazi búzasör illat, háttérben kis citrussal. Ízre is uralkodóan banános, testes, búzás, élesztős, kenyeres, nagyon jó. Mellette citrusos, gyümölcsös, friss. Erről nem tudok semmi rosszat elmondani. Nagyon jó, testes, eltalált klasszikus búzasör, ajánlom!

Hazy straw coloured with a quickly disappearing thin white head of foam. It has a banana, lemon and vanilla flavour with bubblegum notes and yeast on the smooth, warming fruity finish. Good.
Turbid amber color with excellent foam!
Nose. Sweet. There are many Ethers. Overripe fruits, banana.
Taste. Wheat, banana, some citrus fruit. Faint cloves. There is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Very bright Weizen.
Piana puszysta, średniotrwała, kolor dość ciemny, pomarańczowy a zapach taki "beczkowy", stopniowo bananowy ale dalej piwniczny. Przed laty śmiałem się, że to jedyny weissbier pachnący ogórkami. Smak podobny do zapachu, przynajmniej dość oryginalny, kwaskowy, mleczny a oprócz tego z jednej strony bananowy, mandarynkowy a z drugiej pszeniczno-drożdżowy. Goryczka jest ale b. lekka.
Ogólnie: nawet lubię Kapuzinera - pijalny choć dość specyficzny weissbier.
Medium gold, full head. Nose is banana, cloves, wheat. Middle is soft wheat, creamy banana, some spice. Finish is bready and a little sweet.
A little cloudy and deep golden/slightly coppery under a thin white head. Biscuity wheaty aroma with a little banana and a hint of clove. Smooth full balanced flavor with wheat and biscuit and Lagery toast with light banana esters.
Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il frumento. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frumento, cereali, agrumi, vaniglia e banana.

Slightly murky amber with a very foamy & thick, 3cm head with great retention. The nose is faintly sweet with bananas, pale malts, faint bubblegum & a little wheat to finish. Its a similar taste with bubblegum, wheat & a faint bitterness in the background. There's a little clove & bread malts too but it's well balanced with strong, fine carbonation & a medium body. It's not quite as sweet as normal for the style with more of a subtle bitterness but it was pleasant & drinkable throughout.
